Re: I am a khan fan. Why do people hate him.
I used to dislike Khan for nitpicking opponents and avoiding real challenges, once he finally stepped in with Maidana, despite the result he at least showed he's willing to take the risk, he has good wins over Malignaggi, Maidana, and Judah, he called out Bradley only to hear crickets, so he moved on to another very good opponent in Peterson, if he steps up in weight as he said he is he can still rematch Maidana at 147, the thing that annoys people is his ego which is often mistaken for confidence, calling out fighters out of his league way back when for example Pacquiao and Mayweather, either way the guy deserved the criticism he received early on and silenced most critics by picking very good opposition, I'm not a huge fan of the guy but he does deserve credit

Plenty of fighters call out fighters who appear to be above their level. The trick is to get your name mentioned in as many headlines along with the name of an elite fighter. That way, the paying public become accustomed to seeing those two names together, so the fight becomes a better sell.
And, if he waited until he was actually ready to fight Mayweather, Mayweather would be about 37 and perhaps considered to be on the decline. Khan would get shit for not wanting to fight Mayweather when he was closer to his peak, so in a way, he can't win.

People were angry because they didnt think he deserved to go up that fast but why not when you beat people in front of you. He does not have many more challenges in his devision accept Timothy Bradley. A guy Khan is calling out and bad mouthing, but Bradley wont respond. If Khan did this he would be insulted and shamed by everone.
SO PLEASE TELL ME WHY YOU HATE KHAN AND WHY HE IS BAD FOR THE SPORT.
Im not trying to be a prick I simply dont understand what is wrong with Khan.
For me it's not about "hating" Khan, he's just not a favorite. It's like he's the latest over-hyped overrated Brit media sensation that's being shoved in our faces as the next big thing. Everyone seems to forget that he got totally annihilated by Prescott a couple years ago, and got his ass handed to him by Maidana, barely avoiding getting KTFO again.
Over hyped and over rated is a malady that fighters without a loss on their record often suffer from. Losing to Prescott, learning from it,improving vastly and then
taking a tough fight like Maidana and passing that test despite being rocked is what gets you rated.
Your man Bradley is over rated, desert storm....more like fart in a sandpit.:)
So coming a cunt hair close to getting KTFO and taking a beating, but surviving, gives you credibility?
Oh, and when did Bradley get to be "my man"? That's news to me, I do respect Tim for serving his country, but I wouldn't call myself a big fan. You kind of surprise me with this post Green, I expected better from you. :flush: :-X

Did he  Maidana was the one I remebmer rolling around on the floor
Yes he did, in the first round. A well connected body punch. After that, round later, it only took a good punch to his glass jaw to change from boxer mode to survival mode.

Re: I am a khan fan. Why do people hate him.
I don't hate the guy, quite like him actually. He can be full of himself and thinks he's better than he is but atleast he wants to fight anyone and tried making the best fight in his division. If people don't like him I can understand why.

Yeah damn right it does. It's called fighting with your heart instead of your head and it's a habit Khan has admitted he is trying to break, but it does not in any way lessen your credibility. To call a fighter great he will nearly always have to had come through similar adversity. He is young and CONSTANTLY improving.
I'm sorry but putting Bradley at number 7 in your current p4p top 10 with no space for Khan seems to indicate that. You are constantly going on about how you can't wait for someone to Knock khan out, as if losing to Prescott means he is a bum and a fraud. Also i can not find any reference to Timothy Bradley serving his country anywhere. I was not questioning his patriotism. He called himself Desert Storm after hearing a DJ call himself it on the Radio, but if he is a veteran my questioning his boxing prowess does not demean this and should not surprise you. If he is not your man it shouldn't bother you what i say about him. You seem to confuse recognising Khan's boxing ability as UK fans becoming Fan boys? As a person Khan is immature and a bit simple, but you can not question his heart or application. Unlike Bradley he qualified for the Olympics and came back with a silver medal. In the UK that was big news at the time. A lot of people don't like him because they confuse bravado for arrogance, and over here, for a minority, his family coming from Pakistan means they will never acknowledge him. Bradley uses his head constantly and to my eyes is a massively over rated boxer who has done his level best to avoid Khan and Alexander before that. Also being based mostly in the U.S.A quite how Khan can be an over hyped Brit media sensation is beyond me.
Re: I am a khan fan. Why do people hate him.
i dont hate Khan im just cheering for the guy he is fighting each time he steps in the ring
Re: I am a khan fan. Why do people hate him.
The more people are disliking Khan the more he wins the more I am becoming a fan of his.

Wow Beanz, this post looks like a fucking Xmas tree, quite creative I must say. :peeker:
I don't get what you're going on about here, I didn't say Khan was a bum and a fraud, he's a good/above average fighter. I'm just not as enamored with Khan, as some of the Brit media, you and/or his fanboys, and others seem to be.
In re: Bradley, why do you still believe i'm such a big fan of his, or why do you think I would give a fuck what you say about him? Think what you want dude. ;)
I put Bradley above Khan in my P4P rankings because he's undefeated, been a Jr. Welterweight champion longer and unlike Khan he's never been KTFO or taken a serious beating. It has fuck all to do with Bradley being "my man".
Re: I am a khan fan. Why do people hate him.
I am a khan fan too,.. always been, always will be. i still love him eventhough he had marquez winning against my top dawg Pac. ;D (same thing with Donaire.

Re: I am a khan fan. Why do people hate him.
...because he fights like amir khan yet talks like he's ali . And talks and talks and talks..........If you have to run from maidana, i doubt you can beat floyd. Amir is a decent fighter even his haters can't argue that. But why people hate him i more than understand . Dude is in the media giving manny advice. Khan is simply frequently laughable with some of the crap he says.
