It's a personal preference but I love slender, somewhat athletic even skinny looking women.
Are you a dancer Missy?
it sounds 'authentic' because it's live musicians in cairo. As for work on their abs, like you say, your preference is for skinny women. Trust me, I've done workshops with Randa, she's plenty athletic...since when did women have a six pack like a man become expected?
I didn't mean to imply that Randa wasn't athletic, she definitely is, as are most women who do this professionally. As for abs, a six pack on women would make them look too butch, Didem for example has a flat tummy and skinny waist more in line with my ideal.
I'm surprised that as uptight as men seem to be about sex in mid-eastern, Arabic/Muslim cultures, that the type of dancing Didem does would even be allowed. Some of that looked like what you might see at a strip club here in the States.
It's cultural. BD in the ME is not something 'good girls' do and it's not so much to do with shaking your tits. It's because you are showing emotion and causing emotion in others = whore

this is a BIG emotional love song

I really like this one as well, beautiful/georgeous girl with loads of personality and great routine, looks like she has a tattoo on her left side which must be allowed in Lithuania.
1st place in competition "Queen of the Pyramid" 2010. Bellydancer Dovile from Lithuania (Kaunas)

that's a chain on her costume not a tattoo. Zero emotion in the first half. I find lots of western dancers nice and technical but lack emotion.

It makes sense that the Easterners would have belly dancing down to a science since it originated there, and they've got the technical aspects and "emotion" perfected.
However, I really like how the one in this vid looks and dances, she may not have that eastern emotion but it works for me, I really like that costume as well.
It's safe to say that I don't view women the same way most mid-eastern males do, i've heard that they cry after having sex, and hey, we all know what goes on in Turkish prisons. ;) :-X
Re: Check out this Belly Dancer
the thing about showing or sharing emotion when you dance can be done, you just have to open up and be confident and comfortable with being vulnerable. It's not so much about hitting the beats. Soraya isn't egyptian. Easier said than done. Apparently tis' one of my strong points :)
Re: Check out this Belly Dancer
I heard you had two strong points?
Hang a wet donkey jacket off um I heard.
Sorry....carry on. (threads far too sensible)

Im well confused, but not welling in tears yet;
:confused:What goes on in Turkish prisons?
:confused:crying after sex? who crys after sex? the males or females or both?
I can understand crying after prison sex.
What has this to do with a turkey?

@Andre Remember the movie "Midnight Express"? Most of that movie, based on a somewhat true story about an idiotic American kid named Billy Hayes that mostly took place in a Turkish prison. The comment was made during the movie that homosexuality was strictly forbidden in Turkish prisons, but that everyone did it anyway. ;)
It really had nothing to do with the topic, I thought i'd just toss that bit of info out there, to be amuzing.
As for the crying after sex, back in the early 70's I became good friends with young lady who worked for years at a "cathouse" in Louisana, not far from New Orleans. We'd smoke a joint together sometimes, or get drunk and she'd tell me stories about some of her more unusual tricks. (she was "retired") She mentioned that a lot of the Iranian, Iraqi, and Saudi men, et al who came to the 'ho-house would cry after having sex. :-X
When I as her why they cried, she said she guessed that they thought they'd committed a sin, but who the fuck knows.
I hope this helps, sorry to be confusing.

I always ensure that they are unconscious to avoid all the tears and screams for help. Some of the time they don't even know they have had sex.
Sadly, some of the consensual sex Ive had the other party hasnt known about it either :-\
