I never bought that Tyson was afraid of Foreman. I do think there is a grain of truth about watching Fraizier v Foreman fights because Tyson and Cus loved to do that. However Tyson fought Rudduck and he was the most avoided fighter at the time. Tyson fought him twice and nearly got knocked out because of the power of Rudduck. Maybe a prime Foreman would be intimating for Tyson but not this George but style wise he would give Tyson problems.
Tyson would fight Foreman the way he beat Rudduck, brutal body shots and broken jaws, his speed would get him out of trouble. George would not be able to take it. George was nearly knocked out by Holyfield in their fight.

Those fights were BRUTAL
Whenever it seemed like Ruddock had Mike in trouble, he would throw these insane counter shots and stop Ruddock in his tracks and even knock him down. I don't think that Mike was ever in any real trouble ... he was literally IRON in those fights and the shots that he took could KO a damn elephant. Just the sound from the impact of their crushing blows was nuts.

No way does an old Foreman contend with even an early 90s Tyson, after the Douglas fight. The body shots would take everything out of him and leave him open to getting KOed. Not even George Foreman (albeit an old version) can exchange punches with Mike Tyson ... the hardest puncher in the division (Ruddock was hitting harder than Foreman at that time and probably even Tyson) couldn't even do that.
Any given round of either of those fights is superior to the career of both Klits btw lol.

I think there is alot of Marvel comic speak going on with respects to hindsight and Tyson. Mike wasn't 'nearly' knocked out by an older, slower Holyfield who landed 23+ flush power hooks on Forman...he was knocked out. I saw the only guy avoiding Ruddock was Tyson in 89' when he pulled out of a contracted fight with him, later to be sued for breech of contract, and opted to a 'easy touch' in Buster Douglas and a massive gate in Tokyo with a match with mandatory challenger Holyfield in the wings. We all know how that turned out.
Ruddock was alot of things but a bigger puncher then George Foreman was not one. He literally had one punch he used over and over against Tyson and his jab was never a factor in that period, not to mention an often MIA right hand. Tyson destroyed him with ONE PUNCH the same way he would crack every bone in Vitali's skull. A one year period of inactivity is nothing in boxing ... its not like he was out for years and hand't seen even sniffed a boxing gym during that hiatus. Tyson didn't even train for that fight, he was preoccupied with the slaying of his bodyguard and friend and was involved with preparing his funeral.
Vitali would suffer the most humiliating beat down of his life if he ever dared to enter the ring with a prime Iron Mike Tyson. He would be nothing but a footnote of the division, a journeyman who ended up on a Tyson highlight reel.
Tyson was the most ferocious human to ever step in a boxing ring and would overwhelm your mythical Quitalli Clinchko despite any amount of anabolics and PEDs he tried to take. His fragile body couldn't endure it.

If you're gonna have a "round-robin", you forgot two fights:
1. Foreman-Tyson
2. Tua-Vitali
3. Foreman-Tua
4. Tyson-Vitali
5. Foreman-Vitali
6. Tyson-Tua
And forget old Foreman. What he did was admirable, but he was older and slower.
I'll talk about young Foreman.
Fight 1: Tossup fight, but I'll say 55/45 Foreman. Foreman's defense was negligible, as in he didn't need it most of the time. Tyson's speed would exploit that. Coming in, however, Tyson would be vulnerable to Foreman's bombs. Foreman hit harder than anybody Tyson ever faced.
Fight 2: Vitali pretty easily. Tua, as demonstrated against Lewis, was nothing but a huge left hook. And Vitali's chin would be very far away. Tua would be caught coming in, and would lose by mid to late round TKO.
Fight 3: Ditto. Frazier was short and squat with a huge left hook. Tua was just a bigger version, but with less boxing skills than Frazier. Foreman destroys Tua.
Fight 4: Prime Vitali gives Tyson trouble. Great chin and power, as well as huge height and reach edge. But Tyson's speed would make up for a lot of that, and I slightly favor Tyson in this one.
Fight 5: Two big guys with power... great fight. But Foreman had more in his arsenal than Vitali, and I'd favor George by about 60/40.
Fight 6: As most people, I think Tyson would sweep the floor with Tua. Tua's only chance would be to catch Tyson early with a left hook... but by that time Tyson would've probably connected a dozen shots of his own, and Tua would be reduced to defense.

So you are saying Tyson was forced to fight Rudduck due to breach of contract. That could be true, l also read that Rudduck sent Tyson a Christmas card which said he wanted to knock out Tyson’s gold teeth. Tyson would keep it on the mantle piece as a way to remind him how much he was going to punch Razor when they fought.
True Rudduck only had the smash but it was deadly and it did connect with Tyson who still had enough to take it. I say Rudduck was a harder fight for Tyson than Foreman at that time.

His left hand punches generated the most power in boxing at the time. There's no way that a plodding fat old man (no disrespect, but Foreman was clearly all of these things) was hitting harder than him. Young Foreman probably did but not the older version.

You are stuck in the cartoon land version of power punching. Power isn't a thing unless you have the delivery, placement and ease with which it's delivered. Otherwise you are a one demensional one trick wonder with no jab, a few feeler throw away right hands and poor footwork who has no plan b. Ruddock was tough as hell but he could be timed and predicted like the sun rising in the morning. He thought outloud where Foreman could punch underneath off the hip or jab from the shoulder with equal impact. He fought with two hands with easy natural thump and didn't effort into his power with redundancy via one punch.
