That and Mikey Garcia is a really really good lil fighter.
You know, Hulk.... I really don't think JuanMa's chin is all that bad. He took a hell of a lot of shots against Salido before going down. That, and he's been caught cold and dropped. But weak chinned I don't think he is. Stubborn? If you look up the word in the dictionary, you'll find a picture of JuanMa. He sure is that. I think he should've taken a page from Cotto's book and changed his style. Maybe even his trainer. But like you said... he's too stubborn.
You keep saying the same shit over and over. But it's not possible. He can't change his style. He doesn't have the discipline for it. Not only that, but look at his comeback fights. He doesn't have the speed he once had and his punches don't have the same snap they once did. He still has the heart to fight. But that's it. Lopez is a shot fighter. Salido shot him. Garcia will finish him. And the ref I'm sure will win big money on it
Bullshit, fuckwad. Any fighter can change his style if he sets his mind to it and gets a good trainer to help him. What the fuck are you ranting about now? I'm agreeing that Lopez is done and you're STILL bitching?? Shove it up your ass, clown.
So you're agreeing Lopez is done. But if he gets a good trainer than he's not done :vd: Who knew it was that easy? Somebody get Evander Holyfield a good trainer. He'll be champion before the year is over. BTW, I'm not a PR. I don't take anything up the ass

I'm being patient with you for some unexplainable reason. Lopez needed to change trainers several fights ago. It would've done him some good. Now he's taken two beatings at the hands of Salido and he's damaged goods. In which other language would you like me to explain.
And don't flatter yourself. Half-breeds take it up the ass. ;)

What is it with these Puerto Rican trainers? They all fucking suck or what? I remember you blaming the trainer when Cotto got smashed. And now again with Lopez. Don't they know how to train in Puerto Rico?

Re: Mikey Garcia vs. Juan M. Lopez is set for June 15th.
In the end this is just a stay busy fight for Garcia. There's really no pointing in fighting the guy who lost to the guy whos ass you just kicked and while stays make fights. Salido and Lopez have the same style but Lopez is damaged goods, the same outcome should come Lopez's way as Salido's only sooner.
I guess the next fight that makes sense is going to be Abner Mares.

disagree here, Lopez has better technical ability than Salido when he chooses to use it, thing is he hasn't been using it in quite some time, but yea Garcia will probably will handily unless Lopez manages to tap into his old self and actually box more rather than slugging it out aiming for the KO from the get go
also don't get why people keep using this notion of Fighter A beat Fighter B, Fighter C beat Fighter A so obviously he'll beat Fighter B, it's been disproven on a number of occasions so don't get why people keep using it as grounds to why fights shouldn't be made
if we would have used that logic we would never have had fights such as Mayorga/DLH or Mayorga/Mosley, Hopkins/Pavlik, Morales/Pacquiao I, etc.

I dont diagree with you on both of your points in part, the fact that Lopez is better technically when he wants to be does'nt really mean much because he never wants to be that. He is being what he wants to be and that is a recipe for disaster against Garica.
As far as seeing this as fighter A beats fighter B, etc...Lopez and Salido end up being the same fighter because they fight the same way because JuanMa chooses to fight that way. Salido beat JuanMa with the same style JuanMa was fighting in when they fought both times, then Garcia destroys Salido. I dont see how Lopez can bring anything to the table thats any different or better than Salido.
Don't get me wrong I am excited to tune into the fight to see the ass beating Lopez is going to recieve but this is'nt a step up or new style for Garcia.

Cotto wasn't doing so bad with Evangelista. But because of a personal rift, Miguel made the bad decision of promoting Joe Santiago, who was assistant trainer but whose previous duties were those of physical trainer and nutritionist. (I'm on record complaining about that change since it happened). Since then Cotto has moved on, first with Manny Steward, and now with Pedro Diaz.
Other than the mistake of going with Santiago, Cotto has had good trainers on his staff.
Juan Manuel didn't do too bad with Alex Caraballo in his corner (30-0, prior to his first loss to Salido). But after that loss is where a change needed to be made. If Caraballo couldn't see that fighting at home brings out the worst in Lopez (forgetting boxing and defense trying just to get the KO), and that adjustments needed to be made prior to their second meeting..... then Caraballo, IMO, wasn't doing his job.
Re: Mikey Garcia vs. Juan M. Lopez is set for June 15th.
Juanma is not a shot fighter, that shit is ridiculous. Im tired of these fickled minded boxing fans dismissing fighters after one or two losses.. Great fighters back in the 30-40s fought fuckin hundred of times and had dozens of losses on their records yet they still moved on to accomplish big things..
Juanma's two losses by Salido could have been a case of a fighter having the number of another..
MIkey Garcia is the total opposite of Salido. He's a very patient fighter who boxes and picks his shots instead of pressing . He's the type of fighter who will give Juanma alot more room and time to think in there which is a good thing for Juanma..
Ya are making it seem like Juanma is shot and is some one dimensional brawler. Dude knows how to box and if he puts it all together, he can beat Garcia..
There's a difference between these two fighters.. Garcia appears to be a complete figher and all but he's yet to show the ability to overcome adversity.. that's why people started questioning him when Salido broke his nose. It seemed like dude was about to pack it in if the fight had continued but who knows.. Garcia's warrior mentality is still a question mark as far as im concerened..
Juanma on the other hand has proved himself under fire and that could make a big difference in this bout.. When shit gets real heated in deep waters, whose willing to fight to the death?? that's Juanma..

That's actually the worse thing that can happen for Lopez. He's proven thinking isn't his strong suit.
And enough with the Lopez can box talk. When's the last time he actually anybody? He ain't that type of fighter any more.
But his biggest problem is his punch resistence is getting worse. Salido really ain't that big a puncher. And Lopez could barely take his punches. Garcia is gonna slaughter him
