I guess the next fight that makes sense is going to be Abner Mares.
disagree here, Lopez has better technical ability than Salido when he chooses to use it, thing is he hasn't been using it in quite some time, but yea Garcia will probably will handily unless Lopez manages to tap into his old self and actually box more rather than slugging it out aiming for the KO from the get go
also don't get why people keep using this notion of Fighter A beat Fighter B, Fighter C beat Fighter A so obviously he'll beat Fighter B, it's been disproven on a number of occasions so don't get why people keep using it as grounds to why fights shouldn't be made
if we would have used that logic we would never have had fights such as Mayorga/DLH or Mayorga/Mosley, Hopkins/Pavlik, Morales/Pacquiao I, etc.
I dont diagree with you on both of your points in part, the fact that Lopez is better technically when he wants to be does'nt really mean much because he never wants to be that. He is being what he wants to be and that is a recipe for disaster against Garica.
As far as seeing this as fighter A beats fighter B, etc...Lopez and Salido end up being the same fighter because they fight the same way because JuanMa chooses to fight that way. Salido beat JuanMa with the same style JuanMa was fighting in when they fought both times, then Garcia destroys Salido. I dont see how Lopez can bring anything to the table thats any different or better than Salido.
Don't get me wrong I am excited to tune into the fight to see the ass beating Lopez is going to recieve but this is'nt a step up or new style for Garcia.
The key is Self-discipline.
