he won nearly every round whilst fighting with a shoulder injury too... the fight wasnt that close at all, I don't think chisora woudl be talked about for big fights just now if it wasnt for his mildly amusing antics.. good win v malik scott to be fair.
There are worse opponents for wladimir than chisora out there but del boy hasnt done much to be seperate himself from the pack.
Re: Rumble in the Jungle II - Frank Warren's Big Idea - Chisora v Wlad
Oh I agree that Chisora would still be decent opponent for Wlad but things have to be adjusted to the truth. As stated he won nearly every round and with a shoulder injury too I even forgot about that.
We have also seen him beaten handily by Haye.
Chisora gets promoted as the most dangerous fighter that Wlad could fight and that Wlad is ducking him.
Wladimir pulled out of their fight due to injury, then when he came back Chisora had been beaten and Haye/Klitschko was the fight to be made not Chisora who then went on to get blasted by the other brother. That's not ducking, it's called stiff shit. Haye was the more dangerous opponent anyway!
Re: Rumble in the Jungle II - Frank Warren's Big Idea - Chisora v Wlad
Who was Wlads biggest fight against? Was it Haye? Was Haye Wlads most dangerous regarded opponent?
Is Furys £5 million purse (for the scheduled Haye fight) a record for a contender to fight in a none title fight?

Haye and Sam Peter I'd have to say were his most dangerous.
Doubt that was the highest ever for a non title. Mike Tyson made loads in non title fights.

Wlad got paid the most to fight Povetkin....so much for Haye being "Mr. Moneybags"
Haye was a dangerous opponent, ON PAPER, he didn't come to fight he just wanted to get paid. The first time Wlad fought Sam Peter it was a very tough fight at a very vulnerable time for Wlad. Wlad was seen as washed up, an all hype fighter, and Sam Peter was the next big thing and Wlad completely schooled him AND more important Wlad showed the heart of a true champion getting up off the canvas and winning that fight. Jameel McCline when Wlad fought him was tough, Tony Thompson has only ever been stopped by Wlad, he's had some very tough opponents to beat.

I reckon it will be.
Don't forget, Fury has never fought for a world title whereas Mike was a former undisputed great;)
Has any fighter thats never fought for a title yet ever been offered that much?
As long as Fury keeps winning, he's going to be the biggest draw in heavyweight boxing for years!
Wlads most dangerous opponent pulled out against Tyson Fury twice!

It took David Haye 4 years to muster up enough courage to fight Wlad and once he did David ran away like a scared little child.
Also all of this shit talking is going to make Fury's losses SOOOOO fucking epic

Behave.
K2 promotions (that's Klits firm) bid $7 million for the Povetkin fight, Sauerland Bros bid $6 million and a Russian oligarch won the bid for a ridiculous $23 million. It was a freak deal.
Haye/Wlad both made more than the entire fight purse K2 bid to stage the Povetkin fight.

Haye was supposed to bring MORE money, MORE fans....Haye didn't do jack except have the Brits believing they'd have a new champion and that was the saddest con of all ;D

Not everyone is lucky enough to be a Haye opponent.

Who was Wlad fighting when he made his biggest purse (outside of the freak last one) and got his highest ever TV audience, not only in Germany, but around the world?
Re: Rumble in the Jungle II - Frank Warren's Big Idea - Chisora v Wlad
Shit I don't know, I DO know like 50K showed up to watch him fight Eddie Chambers....give the guy some fucking credit

Unfortunately for Fury he never saw a pound note of his greatest ever payday. Maybe if he has 12 fights on BoxNation in the next few years he'll catchup. :)

Give the guy some credit? You're the one that can't accept Haye was Wlad's biggest payday and still most high profile victory to date.
Yes Wlad sold 50,000 tickets against Chambers but did HBO buy the fight? Was it PPV in Britain? Was it sold to hundreds of countries around the world?
TV money!!! Why do you think Floyd makes $50m a fight and Wlad $5m?
