Wlad got paid the most to fight Povetkin....so much for Haye being "Mr. Moneybags"

Haye was a dangerous opponent, ON PAPER, he didn't come to fight he just wanted to get paid. The first time Wlad fought Sam Peter it was a very tough fight at a very vulnerable time for Wlad. Wlad was seen as washed up, an all hype fighter, and Sam Peter was the next big thing and Wlad completely schooled him AND more important Wlad showed the heart of a true champion getting up off the canvas and winning that fight. Jameel McCline when Wlad fought him was tough, Tony Thompson has only ever been stopped by Wlad, he's had some very tough opponents to beat.
Behave.

K2 promotions (that's Klits firm) bid $7 million for the Povetkin fight, Sauerland Bros bid $6 million and a Russian oligarch won the bid for a ridiculous $23 million. It was a freak deal.

Haye/Wlad both made more than the entire fight purse K2 bid to stage the Povetkin fight.
Haye was supposed to bring MORE money, MORE fans....Haye didn't do jack except have the Brits believing they'd have a new champion and that was the saddest con of all
