@Gandalf , I really hate this argument as to why Khan shouldn't get a Mayweather fight as Maidana, the other name in the running, has also never once avenged a defeat. Yes he wasn't knocked out by any of these, but Khan was one of those that beat him and every time Maidana has stepped up, he has choked. Beating Broner was decent, but Broner hadn't really beaten anyone at 147 and had jumped up 2 weightclasses in that year. I'm not saying Khan should get the fight, but if you want to look at a choice between the 2, overall Khan has done more and has better names on his resume.

The fact he's acting like a spoilt little brat in the media is pretty much the reason he's not getting the fight. He should have learnt from Pacquiao/Arum etc. that Mayweather will not be dictated to.

Not that I disagree with your argument. Mayweather/Maidana doesn't exactly rock my boat either TBH. I think Mayweather is picking and choosing as usual, but this time gave a faux suggestion of democracy with the handpicked choice.

Maidana and Khan deserve one another and I mean that in a fun fight way. Mayweather should really be above this though. I have a hard time seeing Maidana land anything clean. Khan would be trickier, but would be doing his wobbly canvas thing again in a matter of rounds.

Lets put it this way Amir khan was afraid to face Devon Alexander cuz if he lost to him he'd lose any shot of facing floyd. So this is a man that was scared to fight Devon Alexander cuz he might lose. if you think you might lose to Devon your definetly gonna lose and don't even belong in the ring with floyd. Then Shawn porter a guy ive never even heard of comes and beats the shit outta Devon and makes me a fan. Also maidana comes out of no where and beats the shit outta the next biggest thing in boxing besides canelo. Say what you want about broner I think he's an annoying prick but the kid has talent he's fast has power makes you miss and makes you pay his only problem really being that he doesn't use the ring if he has too. Khan won the official vote and has already beaten Maidana and the whole world agrees Khan v Mayweather is the more exciting fight.

Between those 2 id rather watch the one that deserves it the most yes. If I was to compare id say floyd vs khan would pretty much be floyd vs de la hoya 2 and floyd vs maidana would be floyd vs Castillo 3 or floyd vs cotto 2. I feel maidanas pressure and power plus awkward punching will bother floyd for at least the first 5 rounds his power goes thru the gaurd and his punches thud don't slap when they land. Khan is already figured out since his punches are straight down the middle that's where his speed is floyd is going to counter him easier then maidana I think. If he fights khan it'll be a KO win between the 6th and 8th round for floyd. If he faces maidana it will go the distance and the fight will be very entertaining until maidana gases IF he gases, that or late stoppage between 9th and 11th. That's how I see either fight going. So I don't really see either going like his last 2 but I do see maidana holding out better then khan.

Khan was counting the money from the Mayweather fight and now that it looks like he isn't going to get it he's spat his dummy out.

The past opponents have been 'disrespected' in that the precious (or should I say precocious) one has never rematched his 3 conquerors, granted Garcia is now way out of his mid-ranking league but he could have fought Prescott or Peterson again. But no the hype job continues. A rematch against Diaz would even be an option if he's frightened of the rest, and I'm sure that Diaz would relish that. The Khan camp can't risk him against a serious contender because he will get beat, so they go for PBF, lose, then buy 15 restaurants in Bolton. Its time he grew some bollocks and started fighting seriously, unfortunately we all know that he will fall again before 'earning' a PBF shot.

I agree with your logic entirely, if you beleive Khan has the ability, but to give him the keys to a losing Floyd fight to build his chip shop empire, in front of 3 guys who have stuffed him stinks a bit to me.

Amir should fight one of the top guys at 147 (Porter, Brook, Abregu or Thurman).

He's feeling disrespected but he's been sitting on his @$$ this whole time waiting for an opportunity to fall in his lap. One could argue that if he fought someone of note (say alexander or another name) and beat them he could have raised his stock, stayed in the spotlight and increased his cut of the proceeds in a mayweather fight because he brought more to the table. Instead he rested on the laurels of squeaking by a fighter who came up in weight and laid low and allowed the fans to forget he existed. It's a straight up b*tch move. Like getting fired from a job at mcdonalds and then moving in with your grandmother while holding out for a management position at Google.

Maidana got this fight because of mayweather's schtick of being the guy people love to hate and tune in to hopefully see get knocked out. Maidana already shut one big mouth and the casual fans and non fans are hoping he can shut another. Khan didnt establish himself as a guy who could do that. Khan hasn't established himself as a guy who could do anything since garcia had him on jelly legs... it's not like he didn't have the opportunity.
