First off I will say that GGG is putting up some impressive wins. He is obviously powerful for his size. That's great. But how would it be justice for Floyd to fight a bigger stronger guy when we all know Floyd's punch power is topped out at 154. He is just able to keep guys at this weight honest and the rest he gets by on skill and reflexes. His last.. how many opponents have out weighed him? 154 is it. Just gotta be realistic. I'm sure many want to see him lose but we need not go overboard because of that. Let him lose in a fair fight against an opponent who actually belongs at 154.
Whats fair? Is making someone come in at 152 for a fight at 154 fair? Is avoiding young up comers like Thurman and Porter while picking on plodders who have been beaten easily before fair? Maidanas first fight at welter was 2012 while Floyds was in 2006 and has been at 154 before before Maidana was at 147.
Could Floyd even make 140 again?
Re: Mayweather v GGG - fantasy fight
GGG would lose at 154lb, I think he would be weight drained.

Floyd didn't make Canelito come in at 152
Canelo MADE THE OFFER...it was HIS idea...not Floyd's.
I don't hear Canelo bitching about it.
Was if fair Oscar MADE Floyd move up and weigh no less than 150lbs.
Was that fair?
Was it fair for Manny to MAKE Margarito fight him at 150 for a fake 154lb title
Was it fair for Manny to drain Cotto..?

You are so far up Floyds ass you can't see the truth because you are covered in shit.
Canelo did not offer to go down to below light middleweight limit, Floyd insisted it happen otherwise there would be no fight.

Is Floyd avoiding those guys? Or is it just that they haven't worked their way up yet?
The other things you mentioned still don't negate the point I'm making.
You can't reason with a Floyd hater.
They want Floyd to move up AGAIN to fight GG but don't want Golovkin to up ONCE to fight Ward.
I can see if Ward were at 175 or Cruiser..but he's just one division away.

You want to be middle Champ, the limit 160lbs not 157 no advantage for the smaller guy all
this BS, it's Middle weight perhaps we should make new weight for Mr Mayweather, I no
we can call it Floyd weight, and the only way you can fight Floyd is you Must come in weight
drained.;)
GG isn't stupid either...that's why he's ignoring Andre Ward.
Ward is the reason GG's trainer stopped saying he'll fight anybody from 154 to 168
He singlehandedly shut that shit up.
Unlike Mayweather
GG has never fought a REIGNING CHAMPION.
Floyd has been doing that since he was 21.
Golovkin still has the VACANT title he got off shot to hell Jr MW Kassim Ouma.
A Golovkin fan looks like a troll trying to insult Floyd's resume.;D
Mayweather fights bigger guys in higher divisions
GG....not so much.....no AT ALL.
Golovkin will never dare to be great..it's not in his genes.
He's 32 and still hasn't fought a bigger man..
Mayweather has been fighting bigger guys since he was 21.
As an Ethnic Khazak Golovkin is related to the Mongols, direct descendants of the most famous Mongol, Genghis Khan. Fighting and specifically things like World domination and greatness is most definitely in his Genes. The fact that you would never dare to make a single post without mentioning FMJ, or somebodies race, or the hatred of American fighters, suggests that greatness, even in the very small context of this particular boxing forum, will always remain very firmly outside of your own grasp.

No it wasnt fair. 154 title should be fought at anything up to 154. I have the same feeling towards manny as I do Floyd except that I dont think Manny is anywhere near the best ever, Floyd could be if he had the balls to challenge himself.

Where has anyone on this forum said Floyd should move up to fight GG? Ive suggested they fight at 154, the weight class Floyd fought in for the 1st time 7 years ago. And if not him, at least fight a good up and comer people think have a chance agaisnt him. Thurman, Porter rather than a plodder he already beat a few months ago,
Re: Mayweather v GGG - fantasy fight
Golovkin to me is a much bigger, slightly more controlled version of Lucas Mattysse. A self styled boxer-puncher who would happily brawl if things weren't entirely to plan.
This is the wrong style to face Floyd with but when your hands are as heavy as Golovkin's hands are then you a very real equaliser.
I think Golovkin is just to powerful for Floyd.
Re: Mayweather v GGG - fantasy fight
To me, GGG is much more skilled than Lucas. He has great foot work, cuts off the ring extremely well, has a ramrod jab(which will bother Floyd), a huge punch with both hands, and is very effective at parrying shots. Floyd is much faster, so it would be interesting to see Floyd use n create angles to pot shot GGG from the outside. This is one fight where Floyd would HAVE to stay off the ropes.

Give it a rest. If Canelo didn't want the fight...he shouldn't have agreed to the catch weight. Floyd is really just a small welterweight...while Canelo has had no business to be at 154 for a few years now (Alvarez was 172 on the night of the Trout fight). 152 was more than fair.
