@Vendettos, I did read your post and while well reasoned out it still glosses over the fact that the last time Shannon Briggs fought at the top level boxing fans of all ages, nationalities, whatever feared for his life and his future well being.....that does not bode well should he be given another shot at the title. Added to which, Wladimir already gets criticized (unfairly I think) for fighting opponents certain fans deem "unworthy" ...fighting Briggs would not remedy that unless Briggs was to fight and beat a contender which he won't because he can't. Briggs is only after a payday and would be more than happy to eat punches for 12 rounds again just so he gets that money.

To address a few things you've mentioned "Can't even get his fights shown in America" ...actually he's on Epix which is American TV (or didn't you know that) and "I'd rather watch Briggs pummel some journeyman"....what channel is that on again???

His fight with Liakhovich was okay in the first and final round. he sucked wind for every round in between.

But he is a trooper for taking a hellatious beating from the first K2, not sure why he wants to go back to the hospital, though...

Someone called Shannon Briggs joined our firm a little while back. Funnily enough it's a big girl who no one pays any real attention to. Used to be a Fee earner but couldn't hack it, now works as a PA.


I've never seen her but when our paths do cross she'll be getting a lead left hook if she isn't sporting a head pineapple.
