Re: Saunders has solid offer from the Kazak
Wait ppv box nation! No way! How can the evil ppv format still continue? It needs to die and never come back. These greedy promoters make me sick and killing the sport of next generation of fans. Sad news to start 2016. :(

If saunders takes the GGG fight, he gets more money that he's probably ever made and no shame if he loses to GGG, which is probably his safest bet. After that he would still have appeal in the UK.
If he holds the belt and avoids GGG, he doesn't make the big money and goes the kell brook route. Canelo has appeal and a bigger appeal with or without the belt, which guarantees him a decent check no matter who he fights. Nursing that title would work out better for Saunders if the straps were evenly spread around. But it looks as though the world has...
GGG -- [WBA (Super), IBO, WBC (Interim) and IBF Champ] supposedly to lock in a fight with the official WBC titlist in Canelo in September.
This leaves Saunders with the 4th belt (wbo) sitting on the shelf sucking his thumb till the dust has settled. Without a local rival that can really drum up some publicity (like a khan could for Brook-- maybe Eubank is that? Brits Chime in...) ... i don't think it will pan out the way he thinks if he plans on simmering, building his brand and racking up money till a year from now (3 months after the rumored September fight.
Actually, i'd be looking to fight Canelo in the interim if i were Saunders (Canelo brings even more bargaining power to the table with the WBO added to his WBC when he fights GGG) so I'd have something he wants. He stands more chance outboxing Canelo than GGG provided he stays on his bike and uses his head movement. If he outboxes canelo and loses on popularity. He still can make a case for fighting GGG (whether he's the winner/loser of the canelo fight) if GGG doesn't move up right after unifying.
Whatever he does, Saunders has to strike while the irons hot.... people are already starting to forget his name. At the very least, enter negotiations with someone and leech himself some coat tail publicity.
Wholeheartedly agree with the above. Saunders should be pursuing Canelo, and to be honest, it's a fight he can win. Canelo doesn't fight 3 minutes a round and Saunders may well nick rounds which could be the undoing of Canelo.
The only problem I can see is that I reckon in his interim fight before GGG , Canelo will make someone boil down to 157 or 158, and Saunders has absolutely no chance of doing that.
Either way, Saunders will make very good money fighting Canelo or GGG , and there will always be a nice payday back home with Eubank Jr. to beat again.;D
Very good point, I overlooked the canelo catch-weight stips.

I've been praying for you, but it looks like PPV is going to bite you in the ass anyway! ;D It hurts me, honestly! LOL Y'all have more champions now and promoters really love a good PPV! You're going to be acting like a crazed football fan before long!
Re: Saunders has solid offer from the Kazak
Frank basically says here you're having a bubble if you think we're fighting Golovkin. Has a three fight plan already for Billy Joe starting in March. Clearly wants to make the Eubank jr rematch in the summer.
Billy Joe - "I need an AK47 to fight Golovkin" :D

No.
Eubank is the draw. Saunders has a win over him which is why Eubank wants the rematch. Saunders needs Eubank to make good money.
Re: Saunders has solid offer from the Kazak
That's not true about the money. We know Eubank Jr's next purse is £100,000 as the challenger to Blackwell (as it went to purse bids). Billy Joe is in a much stronger position, he will take the lions share of any fight between them, not only does he have a win he is now "world" champ.
Would Jr take the GGG fight? Considering they gave Matchroom/SKY the elbow to fight Blackwell it's unlikely, regardless of what they say.

What I meant was Eubank is the only name that Saunders will make good money against that isnt Glolovkin.

Rubbish! Saunders has made more in Step aside money than Eubank is making. the following fights are all makeable and are all big money compared to what Chwistopher is earning.
1. Lee rematch - if Lee wanted it . This Time Saunders is the champ and gets the Lion's Share.
2. Quillin - it would have to be in America, and they would have to dig deep for the privilege, but Kid Chocolate's people have invested a lot of money in this clown, and may see Saunders as the easiest road back to the top.
3. Jacobs - Unification fight and because they are both Champions, 50/50 split.
4. Cotto - If Cotto was interested in continuing in the MW division, they would pay Saunders good dough to try to get a title back.
5. Canelo - these are the biggest names in boxing , albeit not necessarily the best. Canelo and GBP might want this fight because they can say they are trying to unify titles , and consequently have a respectable reason to avoid GGG.
all of this as well as the GGG fight would make Saunders plenty of money. Believe me, Saunders doesn't need Eubank and Warren is in no rush to negotiate with "English!" if they take a Eubank rematch, it's because they have the upper hand in negotiations and they think it's easy money compared to the other fights.
those are examples of big money fights that are out there, but realistically, the odds are that Saunders will have 1,2,maybe 3 relatively easy defences to build up his "Profile" and then cash in with the big boys. and even if he loses any of those fights, the Eubank fight will always be there to fall back on . That's how Frank Warren does it.
and as for "Eubank would take the fight , blah ,blah." well........
1. yes , possibly, because he's a Challenger and not a Champion. and
2. If Eubank beats GGG, why has he chosen to fight for a British title rather than a World Title ?
says all you need to know about team Chwistopher.

Your essays!:p
Its like you dont have a point and have to get verbal diahrrea instead at the need to argue.
Re: Saunders has solid offer from the Kazak
Actually Primo has mentioned some interesting matches for Saunders but knowing Warren the first one will be easy, the second would be for ppv boxnation which must mean Eubank.

Im not wasting valuable time reading all that to see his, as he likes to regularly say "conjecture" on what he thinks may be bigger money fights for Saunders.
Those other fighters I saw he had mentioned dont draw big crowds. A Saunders v Eubank match drew 20,000 last time:rolleyes:

I'll keep this short and sweet now I know your attention span and levels of intelligence are so low.
You think Eubank Jr. is a bigger draw than Canelo? 😂😂😂👏👏. You fucking clown.
Hes not a big enough draw for Canelo.
Is Canelo even staying at mddle?
