Master I can't beleive you don't like duck. Have you ever had Peking duck where it's roasted absolutely delicious. What don't you like about it, is it too greasy
It was like eating rubber and not tasty.
Then it was cooked wrong

I agree sounds like it was over cooked. You may not have the desire to try a proper roast duck you won't be disappointed. Duck is not very forgiving in the cooking process. They have a thick layer of fat betwixt the skin and the flesh and it must be rendered properly but I can say when done well it is my favorite dish. I ate it six times in a two week stay in Beijing or as the natives call it pudong

I'm a pretty good eater, but I've read monkey brains and scorpions on here.
If forced to make a choice between the two...................
I'd eat a bowl of cereal.

Then again, I rather enjoy tripe, so...............

Nothing wrong with tripe or lengua either they make excellent tacos!
I'd give a scorpion a go...I'd be afraid of getting stung still, but I'd eat it. Now what I WOULDN'T eat is this....

Re: Alligator Steaks are popular in Florida and South Carolina -- care to try one?
I've eaten everything mentioned on here so far, apart from Bobcat. I'm not sure I would eat it as I have a soft spot for cats.
I've also eaten;
raw jellyfish
dolphin (yes, really)
deep fried sheep intestines
camel's eyes
bulls testicles
shark
raw lionfish
:feedme:

It's not exotic but escargot is very tasty
Re: Alligator Steaks are popular in Florida and South Carolina -- care to try one?
Escargot is good shit. I've had shark also, and it's good.

Tongue is something that I have eaten all my life but people look at me like I have just killed a child when I tell them what I am eating.
It's not even rare, every supermarket in the UK sells it.

Yes had shark fin soup in China but then I watched a documentary about what the Chinese do to sharks, I will never touch it again, love baby seal though

I would have it like crispy duck. Babies seem quite fatty, so you'd want to make sure all that puppy fat has rendered down nicely.
also, instead of the traditional pancake rolls, baby might be quite nice rolled in a lettuce leaf instead.

Well, don't tell a Chinese guy that the duck was rubbery, because he will think you really liked it,
