Let me know
Thank you for the offer but I have a radio.
no problem. Make sure you have spare batteries

I think Klitschko is just going to old man his way through the first nine or ten rounds, tie Joshua up, spoil and grapple and try and wear him out and see how fucked he is going into the last few rounds. If Junior does start taking risks in the fight it's not going to be till late. I can see this one going the distance.
Re: AJ is the most dangerous chinner merchant Wlad has ever faced? Fa...c...uss?
In power vs power fights one must assess the other assets the fighters have....who has the better chin? Default answer will be AJ because nobody has seen him down and out. Who is the better hit and don't get hit boxer, the answer there is Wlad.
Odds are this fight starts off as a chess match with 2-4 rounds of feeling out....however, if either Wlad or AJ threw caution to the wind and just let the hands go the fight would end more quickly either due to several power punches connecting OR by someone gassing out.
This is as perfect of a crossroads fight as there can be...however I am absolutely certain that Saddo posters will shit on the fight regardless of outcome.
"I don't like Wlad"/"I've never rated him"
"AJ was too green"/"AJ has no chin, no stamina"
Never happy

Both have KO power, so it's a wash.
Chins are tough to come by nowadays in the heavyweights, but Wlad has already been KTFO'ed. AJ's been stunned, but advantage AJ.
Stamina is a proven for Wlad, not so with AJ. Advantage Wlad.
Savvy or whatever you want to call it...... could be "survival skills". Definite edge to Wlad, who by now has mastered every trick in the book to survive.
Heart. One of those intangibles. Neither has really been taken to hell and back. When Wlad was taken to hell early in his career, he stayed there. AJ's still a bit untested in that regard. Too tough to call.
Boxing skills. Well... neither is a Wilder, so that's good. Not sure who to favor here.
Going by the numbers, it would seem Wlad has the slight edge. But to me, it's all going to boil down to AJ's preparation for whatever Wlad decides to throw at him. Wlad is well aware that AJ can take him out with one punch. He's going to protect that chin better than Fort Knox protects its gold. If he can maul/ clinch AJ into getting tired, he'll do it for 12 rounds if he has to. If AJ gets careless/ frustrated with Wlad's tactics and reverts to bad habits (ie: forgets about what he practiced in the gym) during the fight.... Wlad's liable to drop a few select bombs in there and catch him. But Wlad's got to be 99% sure when he drops one of those bombs that there's nothing coming back. A counter from AJ could ruin all of Wlad's plans. I mean, Wlad landed 4 punches a round against Tyson Fury.... FOUR. AJ's a considerable bigger KO danger than Fury.
So it's all up to AJ. He can't let himself get winded from grappling with Wlad, or frustrated with Wlad's tactics and drop his guard. If Wlad tries roughhousing, AJ needs to free himself immediately and make him pay.
You forget form, momentum and age which all tilt the fight in AJ's favour.
I forgot age and speed. Form to me is secondary to boxing skills... and momentum I really don't think will play a big part here.
But yeah... age would tend to balance out the scale.
Re: AJ is the most dangerous chinner merchant Wlad has ever faced? Fa...c...uss?
I truly believe that AJ will bang him out inside 6 rounds but have a gut feeling it could be lights out for Wlad as soon as AJ lands a huge right hand
Really don't see anyway Wlad can beat him.
Just watched AJ on the focus pads with Rob Mccracken from the other day and he looks super fast, powerful and accurate.
For a massive fella his speed is unreal and one thing to remember is that Wlad has looked absolutely shit, old and very very beatable in his last few fights.
Wlads in for a beating come Saturday

AJ could win, he certainly could....but to say "Really don't see anyway Wlad can beat him." .....that is a streeeeeeeeetch right there pal. Oh he looks good on the pads....good he SHOULD look good on the pads you know since nobody is swinging back at him :shakehead:
I like AJ, I think he's a classy fighter.....but smash, dude, he CAN lose and there's the he can get KO'd early, he can get rocked late and stopped, or he can lose a wide decision....hell AJ could also get injured and/or be DQ'd for some reason or another...."Really don't see anyway Wlad can beat him.".....HAHAHAHAHAHA....alright smashy, alright ;D

"Smashy" :lolhaha::lolhaha::lolhaha:
Let's wait and see if Wlad manages to actually throw a punch on Saturday or walks around like a scared and clueless old man.
As soon as Joshua lands a heavy punch Wlad will melt then end up on his ass soon after ;)

....is now Wladimir Klitschko
:shakehead:
Re: AJ is the most dangerous chinner merchant Wlad has ever faced? Fa...c...uss?
Feels like I walked into an AJ fan club meeting. Sure Joshua can win but lets be realistic, the questions on both at this stage are reasonable. Like @El Kabong said this is a crossroads fight in the truest sense.
Re: AJ is the most dangerous chinner merchant Wlad has ever faced? Fa...c...uss?
Boxing is the classic "who do you want to win..... alright now who do THINK is going to win" sport.
I want AJ to KTFO Wlad in the worst way.
First, I blame Wlad for single-handedly killing much of the interest in the heavyweight division, not just in the States, but in many other places as well (except Germany and Ukraine). Also, I would place down a hefty bet that Wlad isn't going to win a straight-up classic, heavyweight fight by outboxing and outpunching AJ in a memorable fight. He'll either foul him to death and then catch him with a sneaky punch over AJ's frustrated guard.... or AJ will become to greedy and forget his defense in the first couple of rounds and get caught.
Either way, Wlad has more of a chance than some people are giving him credit for.

Stop it Tito your making to much sense for a boxing fan. People will start to talk.
Re: AJ is the most dangerous chinner merchant Wlad has ever faced? Fa...c...uss?
Best thing Wlad can do is stink this out for a few rounds and see..find out..where AJ truly is mentally as 'the next coming'. At the end of the day it's again all coming down the Wlads chin and how he supposedly gets sparked when bumping his beard with an electric razor. Tons of questions about Joshua stamina and approach in this one and if ever there was a heavyweight who taxes you, it's Wlad. He can maul, drape on your back and bind a guy up inside. The muscles to worry about with AJ may not be on the shoulders but his legs and keeping him in place midway. He's not terribly hard to miss being honest. Personally I like AJ tempered steamroll tko inside of 6 and we turn the page on this division. Then everyone turns around and calls Wlad shot ;D. But you never ever underestimate experience, or fail to recognize a massive step up.

I didn't pick a winner I made a point about the lazy cliche way we view form, positives/negatives etc (a thread for non-divs, non-dullards and non-cliche spouting bores).
From a betting perspective I can build a very strong case for Wlad being a good bet by KO at 7/2. Or even 2/1 for the win.

if you fancy Wlad to win, or even if you're a Wlad fan, those odds are like Gold dust. A guy with all the experience and pedigree he has must have a chance of winning.
personally I don't think it will happen, but it's certainly a possibility.
just seen Bet 365 offering 9/4 for a Wlad win. it almost makes me wish I fancied his chances.
