When was the last time anybody saw Manny or Floyd fat like Morales or Hatton? Yes, definitely a difference in application and attitude.

Ricky was older, slower, and his body had yo-yoed up and down in weight too much. Plus Manny Pacquiao may have been a guy who juiced....not saying he absolutely did, but there are questions about him just like there are questions about Juan Manuel Marquez.

Hatton was nowhere and Pac was in the zone of his career.

Ricky was a mauler and had some good fights, some that looked more like wrestling, but he could have had even more really amazing bouts, probably best for his current health that he didn't though. Hell of a career.

Hatton vs Zab Judah around the time he fought Floyd would have actually been a good little match. Zab was ever the under achiever, but was still tricky and certainly had good pop in his punches and good handspeed. Would have been good. Acelino Freitas would have also been good earlier in Ricky's career, big power...would have been good wins for Ricky.
The focused zab Judah would have iced 3 Ricky hattons at once, then ran for President and won, gone back in time, knocked Hannibal and all his elephants out, conquered Rome by himself, and shown those clowns how to build some arches.

Zab Judah is a misunderstood artist. He only tried in one fight ever, so that for centuries to come only a very small percentage of fans will truly know who the best ever was. For most of his fights he had too much empathy for his opponents to even train in case he killed them by accident. I was talking to a couple of bouncers at the Barclays centre who were saying he may make a comeback and win the HW title in 2025.
