It's going to take more than 1 or 2 fighters to save the division. What we really need to do is find a country that is very little known, and happens to have 10 or 12 top fighters just fighting each other in that little country, then they all get signed up on pro contracts, come in, take over the division, and battle it out for all the titles.
It would be ideal if they all had great fighting personalities, a couple of gents, a couple of thugs and a couple of real dirty villains. and they can speak english. And my last request from this small country is that they're all fairly exciting fighters in different styles.
Wow.....I feel kinda light headed...I musta got caught up in that daydream.

there is something about his demeanor that angers me, im not sure what, also his punches look soooooooo weak (i know theyre not weak at all) and for some sub-concious reason that pisses me off, maybee it will change, i used to HATE cotto but now i like him

Im really looking forward to Joel Julio, Quintana looks like a test for him and this could be a good fight, I just cant wait to see this guy fight more often, the clips ive seen show great promise.
The HW dont really excite me but I like Brock but I hope he wins this then challenges for a title soon, he's a good fighter and with the right motivation and training could keep soaring to the top.

Agreed again...but this is gonna be a hellacious fight IWO. Brock seems to be flawed...but that makes him more fun to watch IWO.

It's both Wacko. The Julio fight will be a showcase for one of them. And the Brock fight, may be a glorified sparring session for one. Brock can be outhustled, and is open for right hands, will Ibragimov be the one to show that?

Agreed...but I don't know enough about Ibrag to say something like that.
Thing is...the unknowns are what really do it for me about Brock. When ever he's down...he always blows up & comes out alive & on top. Remember during the Bostice, McCline, & Lawrence fights he was deep in the comp & he was getting battered when he came forward & made his statments.
He's proven that he can & will do what it takes to when...but can he do it tonight against Ibrag? He's supposedly highly rated from what I have read...I just don't know...wish that I did.

The fight get's crankin at around 10:30...that's a good hour & a half away...just enough time for me to put some finishing touches on Wacko's Fight Night Recreational Center which is currently under construction...headed out to nail some boards & slap on a few coats of paint...

Well depends on your definition of 'true fan'. If that means that I watch 95% of my boxing while very drunk, absolutely exhausted, and having to get up every 10 minutes just to avoid falling asleep sitting down, then yes, that's us!
Otherwise, if it comes to things like judgement, knowledge of the sport and history, then i'm gonne have to jump ship! :p

10:30 girls...roughly 24 more minutes...depending on what coast your'e on you could be watching Cinderella Man...beautiful movie...hated it at first...but it grew on me & became my favorite boxing movie of all time.
Anywho, if anyone has checked our poll lately...Brock is the leading man for the win with the way split pretty evenly.
Interesting.
Is that because we know so little about Ibrag or is it possible that everyone wants to get behind Brock...& not in a Steelie way. ;D

I'm in Los Angeles. The West Coast. But I got 4 HBO channel's so I get to watch the fights on East Coast time.

It has to be because WE know nothing of Ibrag. Brock may very well be a very good boxer , but a threat to any of the current champs and those right behind? nah....best of luck too both!!!

What you have to realise is that all these folks who do the whole pro boxing thing aren't exactly rolling in the green stuff, and thatt they can't afford two sets of trousers, foir when they hit the weight and for when they are just lounging around.
So the natural suggestion is for the governing body to give them some NASBUBGCF belt just so their rather pitiful johnsons don;'t get exposed as pro fighters! At least that's my theory, and what btter to say on a buckle than 'Champion'!

sadly its more about the orginizations making more money for themselves rather then making money for the fighters with these titles, but i dont mind the belts, i just find it funny when theres more then 2 words before the orginization, and i think TIMOR is the real deal
