Re: If Manny Pacquiao Pulled Off A Win Vs Hatton.........
Speed kills. And again, Pac's blinding speed and southpaw style will earn him the victory.
If Manny wins, PBF will difinitely come out of his retirement and fight Pac late this year.

If it was meant to be ironic.
The difference between Mayweather and Pac beating Hatton would be monumental.
Mayweather defeated Hatton after going unbeaten in 3 fights at 140, 3 fights at 147 AND a fight at 154. Mayweather started BIG favourite.
Pac has yet to venture past 130 (TWO weight classes below) and has been beaten 4 times at lower weights.
Pac would be a MASSIVE underdog.
Vegas SportsBook says otherwise... Pacquiao is favored to beat Hatton in Vegas opening odds...
Pacquiao favored to beat Hatton in megabout - Sports: Upon Further Review - Las Vegas Sun
;D
you have to consider that was stated a year ago. what a difference a year make huh.

Yep, one year makes so much of a difference... ;D
A year ago, boxing people won't even dare to mention PAC fighting Hatton and would say PAC has no way to beat Hatton... But today, Vegas oddsmaker will favor PAC to defeat Hatton... That's the fact...

Already he has to be in teh top 20, this wouldn't change things that dramatically, but maybe it puts him in the top 15, I think beating Mayweather puts him way up there, maybe top 5 if you are honetly looking at what people ahve done in their career, I mean if he beats Hatton and Mayweather who has had a career like that?

pacquiao would beat hatton badly, he needs to fight mayweather

I disagree, you don't compare amature career to pro career. for one simple reason....theres an age limit to turn pro, fighters can start their amatures at very young age. so to compare the weight class of an amature to a pro's is rediculous and NO floyd was not the same age as pac was when pac was 106. Floyd must of been 12 years old in his amatures in a kids leage while pac was fighting PRO 106 FIGHTERS. Hope you see the difference. wait in case you don't get it let me repeat...pac was fighting P...R....O....ADULT MEN.... AT 106, and if ever floyd fought at 106.....floyd was fighting....A.M.A.T.U.R.E....LITTLE KIDS.....BIG DIFFERENCE.
IMO ;)
God i hate guys like u who just make stuff up and refuse to research.
PBF win the 1993 national golden gloves at 106 pounds aged 16 not 12. Manny fouht at 106 aged 17, so not a whole lot of difference there.
Keep in mind Floyd was fighting and beating the best 106 pound amatures in the US, some of these guys were real men not 12 yr olds like u inferred.
Add this to the fact that Pac only fought once at 106 and was fighting at 113 a year later. Pacs crappy early opponents were all in their teens or early 20s and none had good records. They certainly wouldnt have been the calibre of fighter that a top US golden gloves amature is..
Well... you also twist the facts for your argument. Pacquiao at the same age as Maweather was 110lbs, and Mayweather was 130lbs. Pacquiao is a legitimately 3 weight classes below Mayweather. There will be doubt about how to measure Pacquiao's greatness until he faces another great welterweight. There is no doubt that Mayweather is a top 100 on the all time greatest fighters list but he is not in a legitimate top 50 list. If Pacquiao were to retire today he is arguably in the top 50 list mostly due to the fact that he rose from 106 to fight at 147 in his professional career. If Pacquiao were to fight Marigrito and win it would solidify him as a top 50 and perhaps put him top 20 all time list. If Mayweather were to defeat Marigrito it would only solidify him as a legitimate top 80 or so. If Mayweather were to defeat Mikkel Kessler at 160lbs it would add a lot more clout to his legacy and perhaps put him in a legitimate top 50 list. A Pacquiao win over Mayweather means much more to boxing history than a Mayweather jr win over Pacquiao. Mayweather jr beating Pacquiao only means Mayweathers' can fly a little longer with their lips.
Pacquiao beating Hatton makes him all the more p4p king and moves him further up the list of all time great fighters. Lets hope that Pacquiao can draw out Mayweather and have the balls to fight Marigrito.

The point i made is that Julius said Floyd was 12 when he was 106 when in fact he was 16. He said that Floyd was fighting little boys when in fact he was fighting the best amatures in the US, who are far better than 0-3 Philipino hacks.
You are nothing more than a Pac fanboy if u think PBF may just sneak into top 100 all time but Pac deserves to be top 50. Fact is naturally Pac and PBF both walk around at about 145-150 between fights and are about the same height so saying Pac is 3 weight divisions below Floyd is utter nonsense. They both weihged high 140's when they fought ODLH. Floyd chose to maove up in weight earlier than Pac, i daresay if he tried he could still be fighting at 135 or even 130 he just chose to move up earlier.
Mikkel Kessler doesnt even fight at 160, he struggles to make 168 at times! Floyd maybe weighs 2 pounds more than manny and is at most 2 inches taller. Kessler is naturally 4-5 inches taller than Floyd and 35-45 pounds heavier.
How can u say Pac beating Margaritio would make him top 20 but PBF only maybe top 80? Please oh please get off Manny's nuts.
Manny has been KO'D beaten and pushed all the way on numerous occasions, Floyd has only been in a really close fight once, and is undefeated which adds to his legacy.

The only reason Floyd is undefeated is he retired in his prime and he'll NEVER get his respect in the eyes of many. He'll be remembered not only as "number 80" in ATG, but also as the number 1 pussy ass bitch.
Margarito or even Cotto would rape his ass and you know it! ;)

Margo and cotto would not destroy PBF, but theyd definitely fuck up Pac, as would Floyd.
I cannot believe u support fanjohnny even tho everything he says is utter nonsense. Kessler 160? Pac top 20, PBF not top 100? That alone shows how little he knows. Like a typical Pac fanboy u jump on anyone who doubts Pac in any way. It gets old. Floyd would beat him and probably will.
Pussy ass bitch hey? We'll see when he stomps on Pac, if Pac wins a round v Hatton.

Re: If Manny Pacquiao Pulled Off A Win Vs Hatton.........
Manny Pacquiao from age 21
- Had 3 fights ar Flyweight
-12 fights at 122lbs.
And was 24 againts Barrera at 126
Floyd Mayweather Jr. from age 21
- Had 8 fights @130
- 7 fights @135
and was 24 againts Jose Luis Castillo @135
Manny Pacquiao is smaller than Floyd Mayweather Jr. if you dont want to believe that you can say Floyd Mayweather Jr. is bigger than Manny Pacquiao.
Both of them fighting @106 at age 16 means nothing really. Pac stops growing maybe because he's naturally smaller? WTF?!!

But still, in terms of a historical sense, should Pac beat Hatton... Mayweather has already done almost exactly the same thing... The only difference is that Mayweather established himself at the weight before beating Hatton..

You got to be kidding me, right ?
Hatton fans are the best in the world, they travel anywhere and everywhere to see Ricky fight. If Pac does fight Hatton the MGM will be invaded by Brits once again.
And I don't think PBF will damage Hatton's legacy that much. Hatton will be remembered as a fearless 140 pounder who beat everybody.
He didn't fight PBF at 140 pounds. Everyone knew including Hatton that 147 wasn't his division. Yet he still had the balls to fight the P4P number 1 outside his weightclass. Talk about courage.

Floyd mayweather is 5 ft 7 and his in between fights weight is approx 145-150
Manny Pac is 5 ft 6 and his in between fight weight is 145-150
Please explain to me how that makes Floyd 3 divisions bigger than Pac as was stated fy fanjohnny? The same guy who said Floyd would have to beat Kessler who is naturally 185-190 to add some credibility to his resume. A guy comes out with quotes like thatr and i use stone cold facts yet it is me who u think is worng and not him? Another Pac nuthugger, its too easy making u look foolish.
Could it be possible that Floyd found fighting at the lower weights far easier than Pac and hence that is why he moved up faster? While Pac was losing and going life and death with the likes of Morales, and Marquez, Floyd was dispensing of similiarly skilled bigger fighters. Please remember Floyd has never moved up cos he has struggled to make weight.
Using your logic Floyd is a smaller man than Hatton, cos he started at a lower weight so u could argue fighting at 147 was an advantage to Hatton, which it obviously wasnt.
Fact is Floyd is only one maybe 2 inches taller than Pac and their natural weight is almost identical. So fact is Floyd is by no means a much larger fighter and them fighting in the same division would be fair.

Re: If Manny Pacquiao Pulled Off A Win Vs Hatton.........
PBF is 5'8" not 5'7"
while PAC is 5'6"
Pac started at 106 while PBF at 130
I would not say that PBF is 3 weight classes bigger than PAC naturally but the fact remains that PBF is STILL bigger than PAC which makes PAC's accomplishment of stopping the Likes of DelaHoya WORTH considering a FEAT or bigger accomplishment than eaking out a split decision.
Just by looking at the muscle mass and frame of both fighters you will already see PBF being the bigger and taller guy. At their last welterweight outings floyd weigh-in 147 vs. Hatton while PAC was 142 vs. Oscar.
I'd say PBF is at least 5 lbs. naturally bigger than PAC

Re: If Manny Pacquiao Pulled Off A Win Vs Hatton.........
As it is PAC is already a GREAT, A LEGEND in my eyes. But no matter what PAC does whether he beats Hatton and PBF he will be scrutinized for fighting a "past his prime" fighter.
When he stopped an older and looked like a drained Oscar, it does not change the fact that Oscar was still the BIGGER, STRONGER and supposedly more SKILLED fighter with a DREAM TEAM(composed of Beristain, I forgot the conditioning coach, Dundee and so forth) and still got beat.
Pacquiao is a fighter who beats the odds who would've thought that he would kayo the likes of Barrera, Morales and DelaHoya.
Pacquiao should be remembered as a GREAT champion of the masses who showed us that everything is possible. Though not flawless has a heart and will of a warrior and philantrophist rolled into one.
A message to PAC: Ignore the haters, Just keep on fightin!!!

On fight day Pac was heavier than 142 and weighed about 149, PBF was 150 when fighting ODLH at 154. U can paint it anyway u like but fact is they are a similiar size. Even if Floyd was 5 pounds bigger that still puts them in the same division.
Margarito is more than likelt naturally 5 pounds bigger than Cotto, does that mean that fight was not fair. Pac is naturally bigger than MArquez, Barrera, and Morales, but Pacfans didnt see that as a problem when he fought them....
See what i mean some Pacfan comes out with absolute nonsense but instead of going at him u attack me and i use facts. No matter how much u hate PBF or love Pac facts are facts and u cant argue with em.

I think the highlighted statement is all wrong.
Barrera was bigger than PAC when PAC first fought him. Barrera was the current Ring Featherweight Champ and PAC was moving up from 122 lbs. to fight Barrera.
Marquez been in the featherweight division longer than PAC when they first fought. The first JMM fight was just the 2nd (or 3rd) fight of PAC at featherweight.
Morales is way bigger than PAC, no doubt about that. The stories of Morales struggling to make weight for the PAC fights were solid evidences that Erik was the bigger man. The first Morales fight was PAC's first fight at super featherweight while Morales been there a long time already.
PAC fans didn't see any problems of PAC fighting bigger men in Barrera, JMM, Morales, David Diaz, Dela Hoya, etc. PAC has the speed to neutralize these bigger men...

Are u seriously retarded. Pac is naturally far bigger in frame than guys liek barrera, Morales and MArquez. All those guys look bloated at 135 yet Pac looks ripped fighting over 140. Barrera in particular looks like a blimp at 135. Just cos someone comes up from a lighter division does not make them a smaller man, it could mean they find it easier to shed weight, are younger, or the other guy just feels more comfortable fighting at the higher weight.
Again using your theory Hatton is a bigger man than PBF cos he started at a higher weight, yet it was guys like u who had a go at PbF for fighting a smaller man.
Dont disagree with me disagree with the guy who said Pac is 3 weight divs below Floyd, the same guy who said PBF needs to fight Kessler for credibility. He is the one talking shit not me. It'd be like me saying Pac has to beat Pavlik for cred. U'd be all over that.
Just keep lining up u Pacfanboys and i'll keep knocking u down. I like Pac he is a great fighter, i hate his fanboys tho because generally they have no idea. You are the number 1 example. No boxing knowledge just a love of Pacs nuts.
Point is Pac and PBF are a similiar size between fights at the moment so a fight between them would not be a bigger man v a smaller man it'd be a fight between similiar sized men.

Erik Morales is clearly the bigger man than PAC even today. This alone showed that what you're claiming is not totally true. For most PAC fights against top opponents, I have yet to hear complains that PAC is fighting a smaller opponent. Usually it's PAC that is smaller or his opponent is just rightly matched in terms of size.

Not around for the Oscar Larios fight? Larios moved up 2 divisions to fight Pac and a lot of ppl criticised Pac for fighting a smaller guy. JMM had only been at 130 for a year when he fought him the second time, Pac had been at 130 for 4 years.
3k Battery moved up from 122 to 126 to fight Manny.
Erik Morales is clearly the bigger man? What cos he is taller? So i guess Paul Williams is clearly bigger than Mike Tyson cos he is taller? Morales is nowhere near as strongly built as Pac, and has never weighed high 140's in a fight like Pac has. If he did he'd look bloated and chubby, not ripped like Manny.
As i said u cant argue with facts.

Pacfanboys have to learn they push ppl away from liking their favourite fighter. He is a great great fighter but not god for fukksake. Please open your eyes and watch some fighters from other countries, and dont just jump on anyone who dares say anything negative about Manny.
Also use facts not opinions to back up your arguments.

I didn't say Erik was bigger coz he's taller... Erik having problems making the weight during those PAC fights makes him the bigger guy... I remember the bigger Erik bullying PAC in the first fight, like saying "welcome to the 130 division"....

Morales 'bullied' Pac in their first fight because he wasnt shot at that time and was actually the better fighter. Pac bullied Morales in the last fight so using your theory that means Pac was bigger?? Pac finds it easier to shed weight than most, thats why he mad weight easier against Morales. Pac has a much bigger frame and has far more muscle than Erik which makes him the bigger man.
U still havent told me how Pac is smaller than Barrera, and Marquez.
Larios is a TOP fighter ( many WBC 122 title defences) he is just smaller than Pac, and 3k Battery was a fight for a world title shot, not tune ups.
Again show me the facts. Barrera, Marquez and Morales all seem small at 135 yet Pac looked the much bigger man v 135 champ Diaz. He is bigger than them.

You made a sweeping statement that might misled the readers... You based your statement on the most recent PAC on his last fights with MAB, JMM and Erik... I've already said this earlier that PAC was considered the smaller guy when he fought MAB, JMM and Erik the FIRST TIME AROUND...
Yes, Larios is a top boxer... at 122 but not at 130...
I still consider Erik as always the bigger guy compared to PAC any day of the year... which makes your statement incorrect...

You are nothing more than a Pac fanboy if u think
PBF may just sneak into top 100 all time but Pac deserves to be top 50.
Somebody got something stuck up their butt! or perhaps you are just an idiot?
Reread the statement I made. I wrote PBF is not legitimately in the top 50 list of all time great fighters. (That considers his current resume) You also understand my point that Pacquiao's fight at 147 is totally out of his weight class of 135 where as he started at 106. Where as, for Mayweather to have the same sort of accomplishment, he'd have to fight someone coming down in weight to meet him two weight classes above his current weight class, keeping in mind that he started at 130. That is how amazing the accomplishment of Pacquiao is! Your argument is one that belittles Pacquiao's accomplishment. PBF is arguably in the top 50. And having more fights at his current weight class does nothing for his legacy except help to solidify his position, top 50/80 whatever, if he were to beat "great fighters" above his weight class then he proves he deserves to be on everones top 50 list. By not fighting he just withers and we forget him. We are not able to measure Floyd's accomplishments unless he fights. So when you compare current resumes PBF is in the top 100 of most anyones list but Pacquiao is higher due to his resume. Pacquiao beating Margarito, who is a guy no one expects him to beat, is a great accomplishment. PBF beating Margrito just says he faced another great fighter in his weight class and earned braggart rights.
Forget about MP and PBF, Lets see Hatton, who walks around at 170/180. beat a "great fighter" two weight classes above his current weight class! You will see him on lots of list then.

I'm rebutting your incorrect statementt that PAC is the bigger guy when he fought MAB, JMM and Erik... Here's some facts... The weigh-in weights:
PAC (125 lbs) vs. MAB (126 lbs.) 1st fight
PAC (129.5 lbs) vs. EM (130 lbs.) 1st fight
PAC (128.5 lbs) vs. EM (130 lbs.) 2nd fight
PAC (129 lbs.) vs. JMM (130 lbs.) 2nd fight
You need more facts ??

Also use facts not opinions to back up your arguments.
I'm using facts and I'm a PAC fan ...
What facts have u used? When are u gonna write a response to fan johnny telling him he was wrong for saying PBF was 3 divisions heavier than Pac, or that he should fight Kessler for cred?
He is far more wrong than me so off u go, rebutt a fellow Pacfanboy.
Oh thats right he supported Pac so he must be right...
You can't go away with your incorrect statement by diverting my focus to another poster... I also don't like calling me a Pacfanboy... It doesn't sounds right... I'm a PAC fan not a Pacfanboy...

Yeah they are massive compared to Pac. Now tell me what they all weighed in at o nfight night. I guarantee Pac was as heavy if not heavier than the lot considering he finds it easier to shed weight. They dont back up shit.
Im talking about who is a naturally bigger stronger guy. Cotto and Margarito weighed the same at the weigh in of their fight but Margo is far larger naturally. God u make a fool of yourself.
More examples
Roy jones 169.5 v Felix Trinidad 170. Who is bigger?
Bernard hopkins 170 Winky Wright 170. Who is bigger?
Cory Spinks 159.75 v Jermaine Taylor 159.75. Who is Bigger?
As u can see weigh ins mean fukk all when it comes to who is naturally the bigger man.

Why laughed on the 1 lb. difference? You want a 4 lbs. difference? That's already 1 division apart !! This only shows that you're also an ignorant boxing fan...
When I gave you facts (recorded facts), you only laughed and then ask for some vague info. No one is keeping official record of fight night weights...
I'm sticking to my point that Morales is always bigger than PAC... If they will weigh-in today, I'm 99% sure Morales weighs heavier than PAC...

How ignorant are you? Why are you presenting the weights of other boxers when we're talking about PAC vs. MAB / JMM / EM ... Your statement that PAC is bigger when he fought MAB, JMM and EM is incorrect... Back it up with facts from PAC, MAB, JMM and EM and not records of other boxers...
Weigh-in weights is an indication of who is the bigger boxer... It might not holds true in all cases but it's an indication...

Weighj in weights are no real indication of who is the bigger guy. Thats why i ised the other examples. You show your total lack of knowledge by even putting those weights up.
Ic ould find dozens of examples of fighters who weighed similiar in the weigh in but one guy is far bigger naturally.
The point im making that Pac is naturally a bigger stronger guy and carries far more muscle than Morales, Marquez and Barrera is true. There is no disputing that.
The fact he was lighter on fight night has a lot to do with the fact he trains harder and has a fantastic ability to shed weight easily. Not cos he is the smaller man.
Big deal if Morales weighs more than Pac now he is probably fat cos he doesnt train anymore. Morales would look ridiculous fighting at 147, fat and bloated, but Pac looks quite reasonable at that weight, still ripped and muscular.

Kassim Ouma weighed unproportionally heavy when he fought Jermain Taylor.
