Calzaghe will be the home fighter come fight night. Hopkins doesnt have broad appeal because he is essentially boring to watch. Calzaghe could have fought in Europe and sold out a stadium and instead comes to Hopkins back yard where they are still trying to sell tickets. Where are the Hopkins fans? They dont actually exist in significant numbers. And for VD to turn this into a popularity contest is just silly because its obvious that Calzaghe does have a significant and vocal fanbase.

Enzo's been getting loads of stick for nothing as far as i can see here...ever since his slighty bitter comments regarding David hayes destruction of Macc..I mean he is clearly passionate about his fighters, that's all.If that's a bad thing for a trainer to be,well....

From my point of veiw he has taken two shit boxers to start off with macc and gavin,and taken them way way beyond what they ever would have been with anyone else,and got them in shape to win world titles.Regardless of what you think of thier opposition no-one can take it away that they were once world title holders.

And if the Americans don't give a shit about Joe then it's your loss IMO.
It doesn't change the fact that Joe is and always has been a p4p top 10 fighter.

It would sell out if it was in UK for sure. All I know is that if JC keeps to his game plan he should outwork him, although BHOP's good and dont get me wrong he has the potential to beat JC I think that JC offers a bit more at this late stage of his career and will learn from other mistakes in the Bika fight and not get annoyed with dirty tactics. But JC should just box him to death and not let BHOP get in control of the fight at all and not let him dictate the pace, and if JC avoids that I think it will be a JC UD!
