heres a old article about floyd sending his team to find the biggiest match for him and he had pacquiao in his thoughts.
‘Mayweather thinks he can beat Pacquiao’ | ABS-CBN News Online Beta

This whole thing is turning me into a Pac fan, I may start a thread on here about how great Pacquio is and ban everyone but me and Saddoboxer from it.
;D
Well.. even his own promoter questioned whether he ever really wanted the fight.
I can't be bothered to find the quote.

cause there is none. FACT.
its true arum and freddy are not in pacs ear cause pac is across the pacific and sticking to his guns. why listen to arum if he didn't let the fight take place where pac wanted it and ricky wanted it and everybody wanted it, in england. Pacs real reason to want to fight hatton was because he'll get a chance to fight in england. He can shit on hattons belt and status at 140, pac never cared about belts. Pac can fight cotto or margarito even if it does look suicidal for a better legacy. hatton needs pac more then pac needs him. FACT.

As a fan, Ricky is a fun guy to watch, you never have to worry about where he is,because the awnser is allways,"Right in front of the other guy"
I loved Mancini and Manfreddy for the same reason, art and artifice didnt enter in to it,these guys came for war
ANd Pacquiao doesn't come to fight? I'm just curious because Pacquiao is most exciting fighter in the sport, and puts it all on the line, and often has disregarded defense to land that hard punch.
No Pac is a brilliant sniper
If I was training a fighter and they could work away like Pac does,Id tell them to do that in a heartbeat
But he isnt a thug
Hatton is a stone cold thug
I dont dislike either fighter, but of the two,Hatton is the thug
If you want the sweet science(and some days thats what I prefer) Id recommend Pac,if I wanted to watch somebody who comes forward and tries to thug it out,Id say watch Hatton.
I dont get to watch as many fights as I like for just the fun of it,Im usually scouting someone, so I just like to watch a brawler when I can, especially one who can get away with it like Ricky does

uh thats not valid, arum says he doubts pac never really wanted the fight. :LOLATYOU:
Re: Why PACQUIAO is always criticized with his actions?
Pac's critisized for the same reason they all are....cause it's easier to tell the fighters what we want them to do, instead of what they think is best for themselves, while those same fans will hardly remember you when your career is over your money is all spent on doctor bills and you are only good to the fans for taking pictures and waving. Some of the greatest minds in sports never play just sit in thier living rooms and talk. Not defending pac and i'm even a little dissappointed in the fight falling through but sometimes and i say sometimes what the fans want isn't always the best thing. We don't see what happens behind the scenes. Pac fights pretty often, is usually in pretty tough and is seemingly a very nice dude, so i'll give him a bit of a pass for a change. Imo him backing out is not as disappointing as guzman not making weight, torres punking out on holt, mora running from taylor at high speed for a belt or even bj flores who i'm not really all that excited to see in the first place. I do very little cheering so pac's fans don't bother me hell i put up with raider fans twice a year but i think that does have to do with a lot of the crap pac takes.

yep stupid hatton fanboy fukkheads were talkin all that shit before the Mayweather fight only to have there fighter to taste the ring post. I cant wait til Pacman tastes it too.
Re: Why PACQUIAO is always criticized with his actions?
because boxing fans who despise one fighter always will because they all want that moment they can say "SEE THAT FIGHTER WAS OVERRATED IN THE FIRST PLACE"
Pacquiao could beat every fighter from 147, 154, 140 and still not get respect from someone who despises him . In boxing there is always something "more" that a fighter could do to please the fans.
if Pacquiao beats Hatton the same haters will say that Hatton looked like crap in the fight and that Pacquiao should have finished him sooner, its a vicious circle.
Re: Why PACQUIAO is always criticized with his actions?
I THINK its true mannys fans are real disrepectful.

Doubt means he thinks it's unlikey but is UNCERTAIN. He QUESTIONS whether Pac wanted the fight. That is what Arum said. EXACTLY what I said. Fact.
So it's a case of :LOLATYOU: for even daring to challenge Fenster the fact man. Fact.

similar to what was said after the dela hoya fight. pac was criticized because he wanted a bigger share. a claim that he has the right to. but nobody dared to criticize hatton for thinking that he is a famous a pac here in the states thus asking for half of the purse. pac will never get respect from anybody who dispises him not matter what he does.

whos fans are disrespectful? why do you think more international fights are held in the philippines than in britain? erik morales came to the philippines and got applauded, so did larios. so did valero inspite of his trash talking to pacman. who came to britain that wasn't booed till the guy can no longer hear? when you post back up your claim.
whats that song again?
theres only one ricky hatton, one ricky hatton
left to the jaw, his head hit the post
floyd knocked him out to wonderland

PAC fans here showed that they can intelligently discussed other boxers aside from Pacquiao... ;)

Casamayor groupies only numbered one or two people at most... That's why they're not getting much attention.... ;D (joke)

No they haven't. They can't. Ever since I embarrassed Lee, they don't even try any more. It's Pac 24/7.

I hate to come aceross as rude, I don't hate anyone, but the vast majority of Pacquiao fans are simply that.....Pacquiao fans, not boxing fans.
I remeber one Filipino boxing fan, I believe it was KKisser (great fella) picked up on this some time ago.
One thing I do like about these guys, is that after Manny's loss to erik, they came back stronger than ever.
