He'll come a cropper for sure, and you might only have to wait till saturday night to see it. I met Floyd last year and he was sound as a pound, signed some gloves for the kids, posed for pics etc..

Thought he was a little ignorant by leaving his I-Pod headphones on ;D

We had a cigarette with his mum and she is a top lady and a really nice and genuine person.

Had a good laugh with her actually. :cool:

I know what's going to happen... The exact opposite what I WANT to happen. I will pay 55 bucks to watch Floyd pot shot and counter an older version of Mosley who will not be able to close distance all night. I pray I'm wrong but... Well... Mayweather has a way of raping people out of their money promising an entertaining fight and delivering a fantastic defensive boxing display that no one wants to see ;D . Most people buy his fights to watch him get KO'd and it never comes. Floyd is an amazing defensive boxer... No doubt. But I'm not paying for that. I'm paying for SOMETHING... Something of substance.

Dunno if anyone else mentioned this, but I found it funny how much Floyd keeps on about this steroid use of Mosley, yet his entire entourage looks like the have replaced 80% their whole meals with the stuff....

I know it's irrelevant for boxing, but you'd think one of them might be embarrassed in the corner while Floyd has the 24/7 camera in his face like "yo what sort of hopeless loser uses steroid!"

Floyd don't care about the roids... He cares more about his "0" now, and he'll go to extra length not to lose it.. ie. introducing new rules for his fights which make SURE his opponent isn't doing anything extra that might beat him..

But I mean, i'm all for that in reality... Other boxers shouldn't be taking advantage from steroids... Boxing in general should be testing a LOT more... But I don't think he's doing it for boxing as a whole.. He's doin it for him... But hopefully it catches on anyway..

Mayweather IMO is both the best and the worst trash talker in boxing today. He's great because he is a genuinely dislikable character who has a knack for pissing off the public and making them absolutely hate his guts.

He's bad because he'll often pick apart his opponent and underrate his abilities. He does himself a great disservice by doing this IMO. He called Gatti a C-class fighter and a bum, and they he had one of his best performances against him. Now what? The public thinks you just beat a C-class fighter, and it does very little for you.

It's just Floyd being Floyd, we all know what to expect by now. My favorite line came from Richardson, when he was talking about Pac, "you know you're great when people let you sing, knowing that you can't " or something like that. I thought it was pretty funny and true.

Did anyone catch on episode 2 when floyd was telling his daughter not to talk bad about shane? I'm not sure he even knew the camera was there but he did say it...It was when he was in the ring with the little girl.

He said "Don't talk bad about Shane because we know who shane is"

Its just too bad children mostly follow action and not words...they see floyd acting like a twat and that's what gets the most attention from TV and celebrities so that's what will most likely be retained.

It's like telling your kid not to smoke weed over and over again but then they see you doing it once and that's all the contradiction they need.

You posted pretty much what I was going to say. They see their father on tv acting arrogant, obnoxious and bad mouthing people, it's only natural that they are going to pick up on it and copy him from time to time. I am sure he isn't like that when the cameras aren't on but, due to the fact of how much television time he gets, they are going to be exposed to it a fair bit.

LOL... You know I always give Floyd props. I think he's one of the most amazing defensive fighters, perhaps, in history... But the mouth to action ratio is one sided... Floyd always promising a KO and an action fight and then raping me of my money. I can't blame him. He's selling me the fights but making very unhappy fans in the meantime. I appreciate all his skills but I want him to just go... Just go away so men can fight rather then chase him around the ring.

I'm with Daxx & Co when it comes to PBF. I don't buy into this whole it's just an act BS to sell fights, he really is like that. ODLH sold a hell of a lot more without acting like a total prick. Manny is doing just the same and he barely speaks English..

I've been getting my missus to watch 24/7 with me so that she'll have some sort of interest in the fight come Saturday. Everytime PBF opens hs mouth she has a look of disgust on her face. She truly HATES him, why Floyd would want people to feel that way about him is beyond me...?

Like POB I detest Mayweather the person and I'm praying 2010 sees his demise!
