Re: Your top 5 fighters now.
Floyd Mayweather Jr
Amir Khan
Shane Mosley
Devon Alexander
Hozumi Hasegawa
All of these guys I feel genuinely excited at the thought that they've got a fight coming up. I actually feel that buzz watching them fight. There's a few others who do the same who I've left out, Andre Berto, Librado Andrade, Andre Dirrell, David Haye, Arthur Abraham, Yuri Gamboa, Tavoris Cloud, Celestino Caballero, JMM & Sergio Martinez. Tbh, if I did this again tomorrow one of these other names would get in there. I've probably still forgotten some people.

Foreman? Interesting, he's a great boxer and
I fully expect his stock to rise after he schools Cotto. I just didn't expect him to make any lists yet. Good on ya.
Stop right there Killer.
My boy Cotto is not and i repeat is not getting schooled by Foreman.
Cotto is gonna cut off that ring, control the fight with his jab and beat him up. Cotto has declined mentally as a fighter since the Margarito loss but stylistically Foreman hasn't got the tools to beat Cotto. He can't beat Cotto just because he has the size advantage.
Foreman just doesn't bring to the table what Margarito and Pacquiao did which for one was a high pace and constant pressure and from the other a high pace as well but used his speed and footwork to break Cotto down.
Foreman to me is just a bigger version of Michael Jennings with abit more skill.
Come on bro, give Foreman more credit than that. He's a great pure boxer, the Jennings comparison is hardly fair. Foreman knows how to use his height and reach, I don't think he will sit down on his shots like he did against Santos, but he's got the reach, speed and footwork to box circles around Cotto, I'd put a sigi bet on it.
Maybe i'm underating him abit but there was simply nothing i seen from him that impressed me.
He showed he had good footwork and could box but otherwise i find him to be average. Maybe he somehow proves me wrong against Cotto.
Stylistically what he brings, i don't see bothering Cotto that much. He's been in with guys who use alot of movement before and he's broken them down all the same, with the jab, left hook and body work. Foreman is bigger than the other guys he broke down but he isn't faster than those guys so Cotto should have an easier time getting his shots off.
I would take a sigi bet with you but if i won, i would have no idea what i would do.
I like you too much to do anything harsh lol.
The feeling is mutual, we could do like CFH and I did just put a picture of the loser getting punched in the face. So if Cotto loses you'd put a picture of him getting clocked and if Foreman loses I put a picture of him getting decked.
How long is our bet for by the way? Not that I mind having a picture of Kelly Pavlik getting the shit kicked out of him as my sig.

Devon - Scoped him out since he beat Cuevas he was my fav prospect in 2007/2008 and just get's better and better.
The 5th spot is a tie between Montiel and Adamek...
I was expecting to see "Bad" Chad Dawson listed among your top 5. I'm sure he is in your top 10, right?

Re: Your top 5 fighters now.
It'd be impossible for me to pick my five favorites cause i like way too many for so many different reasons, but the top five in my opinion in no order would be
Wlad klitch. Cause he's got the most popular division in boxing on lock down so tight that they've been blackballed from t.v. and there are those out there with so called factories, camps and this and that damn near trying to geneticly create someone to beat him.
Vitali klitch. For the same reasons above.
Floyd Mayweather. Cause he's by far the best boxer in the sport.
Manny Pac. Cause he's the best fighter in the sport.
Sergio Martinez. Cause without the four above he's be the best in the sport.

Re: Your top 5 fighters now.
1. Mayweather
2. Pacman
3. Martinez
4. JMM
5. Dawson

Re: Your top 5 fighters now.
My faves in order.
1. Holyfield - it is a shame he is still fighting but I can't not watch him.
2. Juan Manuel Marquez - beautiful technician in the ring. Ring smarts, counterpunching, precise with every punch. Poetry in motion.
3. Tomasz Adamek- crowd pleasing style
4. Wlad - Technically gifted big man. Quick, accurate, and powerful.
5. Is a bunch of Philadelphia fighter's. Mike Jones,Danny Garcia,Chazz Witherspoon, and Timmy Witherspoon Jr. All of these guy's have great talent's and will soon be big names to look out for.
Now the shit list in order.
1. PBF - I simply dislike everything about the man. Fighting, personal life, just a piece of shit of a human being.
2. Haye - Too much trash talking and not enough figthing against the ELITE opposition.
That's about it.

Re: Your top 5 fighters now.
Martinez-entertaining and always classy even when getting crapped on by the judges
Kats- Always comes to fight, all heart
JMM- Brilliant technician yet super exciting even at 37
P Will- his style might not be the smartest given his size but sure makes for fun fights
Funeka- similar to pwill he's freakisly tall for his weight yet throws a ton of punches
-
Re: Your top 5 fighters now.
Floyd (Best pure technical boxer out there)
Manny (Best all out action fighter in the sport)
Vitali (I consider him to be the best HW, yes even over Wlad)
Froch (Even before his win over AA, I loved his old school attitude of fighting any Tom, Dick, and Harry out there. Just look at his resume.)
Hasegawa (An all out exciting fighter with great speed, plus I love those wacky Japanese announcers when he fights.;D)
-
Re: Your top 5 fighters now.
Pac
JMM
Nonito
JML
Katsidis
I gotta mention Glen Johnson - still one of my favorite fighters to watch.
