Canelo is just 21 too....he could fill out a bit more
You know i don't think Cotto would do so well against either of them. People i think are kinda high on him because he took a few rounds off Mayweather. He has not faced a hitter in some time i mean Cotto i think lost to Clotty and Mosley fight i feel was a draw i think next big star at 154 is one of these guys. We will have to wait and see but i don't think Cotto beating a Margarito after he got destroyed in past fights is really that great and Mayweather fight was not really close and he was almost was knocked out by Mayweather in the twelve round.
Ortiz is no where good enough to look past fighters and call shots...... i say he gets blasted by lopez and canelo looks on for another opponet

This is an untested Canelo we are talking about that struggled with Mathew Hatton;D
Regardless of what people are saying, this is going to be a fun fight.. I thought Canelo showed great maturity against Mosley. He fought like a veteran..I don't see this whole "Canelo wasn't confident" stuff..maybe I watchrd a different fight.
If the relentless Ortiz shows up that came to fight against Berto then he will give anyone trouble, especially a Canelo who can tend to take his foot off the gas. This is a pick em fight for me - I can see it being one sided for either of them. Will be fun that's a guarantee

Cotto can't take Canelo's or Victor's shots and I would put money on it.
What Cotto could do to both is out jab and and circle with the left hook, might win him the decision.

The difference between Cotto and those two guys is that he knows he doesn't have to take those punches. As for the pressure, Cotto's power and accuracy would deter them along with a rejuvinated attack to the body.Quote:

Forget about Mosley because fights are only good if both fighters are participating. Berto was inactive for a long time and still made Ortiz kiss the canvass. Even without the headbutt debacle Floyd would have beat him from ring post to ring post. Canelo hold the title and he is young and he gets better as he goes along and as much as I liked Shane through the years he wasn't dangerous anymore and maybe Canelo was a fan and he was hesitant about hurting Shane. Ortiz is not the favorite and I think he will lose this one badly if he tries to go punch for punch like he did with Berto.
