Err.. no it's not a bit harsh. The only thing you got correct was shared by 97% of the worlds population - that Wlad would win. Why do you deserve special credit?

However, you specifically stated, roughly 10,000 times, that Wlad would look stunning beating Haye. He would be more aggressive than ever and teach Haye a lesson for "running his mouth"

What happened in reality?

Wlad was his same old saftey-first BORING self. Haye fought the same as he did against Valuev and Audley. There were no surprises with his performance for anyone that saw his last couple of fights.

The only people that thought Haye looked ridiculous were the gullible ones falling for a great self-promoter. Fact.

I would say Haye is about 7 or 8 right now. He hasn't beaten top fighters at HW asides from Valuev who Holyfield already beat. Haye is at the back of the queue as far as I can see.

It is VERY common for the champion in a division to move straight up to a title in the division above.

Very, very common.

Yet because Haye is seen as a dick by many it suddenly becomes an OUTRAGE. :rolleyes:

Naz is a good example of personality, to listen to him speak and see how he acted you'd think he belonged in the same breath as Sugar Ray or Ali... But then you actually look at the fighters he beat and when he beat them. :vd:

There's a difference between thinking the fatty formerly known as prince wasn't great and being outraged if he got a title fight one weight class up just because he's a cunt.

Nobody cried when Hatton got to fight his first fight at 147 for a belt and hardly any brits did when he robbed the belt after losing... Why?

Tito, I'm not so sure Haye will win, Chisora looked better against Vitali then anyone has in years, and if Vitali didn't knock Chisora out, there's no way Haye will.
As for Eric, he's a fanboy/groupie for British fighters, and not per-say a fan of boxing.
As for Fenn, unlike Eric, he's usually objective about Brit pugs, he just likes stirring the pot, and getting a rise out of anyone who takes the bait. :peeker:

A lot of people are saying that chiz has a good chin and he will last the rounds, i dont think so i think the stoppage will come quite early, first half of the fight at least

The only way Haye wins is if he stops Chisora. If Chisora weathers the storm in the early, we'll see a repeat of Haye's fight with Carl Thompson.

When have I said that? If Haye "squeezed past" anyone it was Valuev (whom Holyfield had looked more dominant against).

The issue with Haye is that when he was a cruiserweight and Hell even right now, if you gave Haye the name of a top flight heavyweight he would not hesitate in saying he would not only beat them, but humiliate them....if given the opportunity to prove that he will bob and weave, duck and dodge the fight more effectively than he avoids punches in the ring. Of course the problems with contracts and signing fights are never his fault...he's always taking a pay cut to make sure "the big fights happen" :rolleyes:

I guarantee Haye stops Chisora. It will be very similar to the Ruiz fight but I'm not Sure Chisora can take as much as Ruiz.

Also, I haven't been around for a while but is Lyle still saying Haye just squeezed past Ruiz? Sorry but I thought Haye looked impressive against Ruiz, and pretty much controlled the fight until it was stopped. That is not squeezing past!

The only way Haye wins is if he stops Chisora. If Chisora weathers the storm in the early, we'll see a repeat of Haye's fight with Carl Thompson.
As for Haye vs. Ruiz, I didn't even bother watching, but if Haye looked "impressive" in that fight, who fucking cares. :jester-new:

Haye’s performance against Ruiz was impressive but if he had to pick a style that suited Haye that would be dear old John. Chisora does not punch hard enough to cause Haye too much trouble so think David will win this probably on points as no one has been able to stop Chisora.

I place Adamek at 3. Damn the heavies are in bad shape.

Are you telling me that Haye deserved a third place for beating up a totally washed up and clueless Ruiz and a champion that was overprotected by King? Adamek, Thompson, both K, Arreola or even Chambers did fight bigger opposition overall in the HW than Haye. I'd give him a top 10 seed in good faith but never a top 5, let alone 3.

no he doesnt deserve 3rd coz he hasnt been fighting, he probably doesnt deserve top 10 or 15

i honestly think he would beat all of those HWs you have listed aside from the KLits

ruiz hadnt looked washed up and clueless in fights leading up to the haye fight but it is possible that all his skills left him after the fight before the haye fight and he was washed up and clueless in the haye fight :)

Eric I agree with you about him being Ruiz as John came in well conditioned and really up for it as he thought he could genuinely win the title back. However he is not the 3rd best heavyweight in the world.
