@El Kabong, we used to argue all the time about this but I have since admitted you were right since the Wlad-Haye fight.
You were overboard with your hatred though, you wouldn't even call Haye by name...so maybe people didn't know who you were referring to. Remember he was "The WBA Title Holder", and to be fair the WBA have such a clouded system that you could have been referring to anyone. ;D

That's irrelevant. The fight was sanctioned by the board so it's their rules. If you can't pass a medical you can't pass a medical. Simple.
What about a broken toe?
Well obviously you can.
But even if you can't, I guess it's a little easier to hide a broken toe than an axe wound full of stitches above your eye.

You also told us that Wlad would look fantastic knocking Haye out, you know cause he's really angry with him over the severed head picture and stuff.
Instead Wlad produced his usual boring performance.

How would he hide that "mess" of a toe he managed to so valiantly hide after the Wlad fight?
Dyou think he maybe put makeup on it to cover it up to the doctor? Or maybe he put makeup on it just before he got in the ring?;D
Also Kabong, you told us all along? You have said that Haye was Wlads most dangerous opponent?
-
Re: David Haye: "I hope Wlad beats Leapai and I can get a rematch"
I don't buy the Haye was scared theory , lets face it ross ,Haye is faster and hits 5 times harder than Steve Cunningham , fury has a poor defence , so it seems pretty obvious Haye would have landed his right hand. Judging from the breakdancing fury did against Cunningham , I don't understand how you cant see why most people here thought Haye would win by early KO.

Dangerous based on talent not on heart or dedication to the sport. Am I wrong in saying Haye is dangerous? He IS very athletic and he has fast hands, and good pop. He just has no nuts.
Meanwhile Tyson Fury has a similar attitude as Haye, he feels ENTITLED to big fights, but he has significantly less talent.

Plenty of fighters with less talent have gone on to have great careers because they have more bollocks, more heart and will go out and do what is needed to win.
I wont name any fighters as ill get accused of comparing Tyson Fury with someone but im sure you get what im on about you lot cant be that thick.
Ill tell you something. For a fighter like Fury who supposedly is nothing. He sure does get a few peoples backs up and all hes done is try to secure the most dangerous fighter in the division for a fight as well as just continually winning.
There are some very rabid posters who bite at the very mention of Fury. I cant stand Haye but I dont jump in any thread that has any relavence to him to get angry at someone elses opinion. Its odd.

Some of us think both fury and Haye are total idiots.
They are now both making a career out of talking and not fighting.

Not Furys fault though is it?
At the very least he signed for a fight that would have given us the answer of where he is progression wise. I believe he would have won, yoy think he may have lost, eitehr way we would have known deffinitively. You cannot criticise him for wanting to fight the most dangerous fighter in the division.
As it is now, the rescheduled date for that fight was on the 8th of Feb so really he isnt "not fighting" as he has a scheduled date to stay busy. Its Hayes fault the fight fell through and that Tyson is now looking for someone to sharpen up against after such a long spell out for a fighter that is yet to establish himself. None ofthis is Tyson afurys fault. He is talking because he has chosen to make a career out of professional boxing and the higher profile he has the more money he will make. Hes already been signed up to be the highest paid boxer not to have fought for a world title. As much as you say it was all Haye that the money was that high, they were bth getting the same amount and no other contender would get over £1 million in the same event.

You said hes making a career out of talking and not fighting which isnt fair. The only reason he hasnt fought since cunningham is Haye.
What you said is right with regards Haye. When was the last time he won that didnt includ a British journeyman?

He has not only lost his own credibility, but he's also caused grief on Furys career which I dislike. Now I am not Furys biggest fan but I don't like seeing a fighters hard earned career get effected by the antics on someone who doesn't have his heart in it.
This all coming a Haye fan.

Fury put faith in Haye to make a fight happen between them. What events in recent history could hint or suggest that this line of thought would be not the best way to go about getting a title shot? It's not like Haye doesn't have a fucking LOOOOONG history of dropping out of fights. So if the Brainiac Tyson Fury wanted to make a smart move he would have planned for that exact thing happening to him.
Haye pulled out of like 4 fights with Wlad or Vitali and like I've said he's a PART TIME FIGHTER. Tyson Fury should have focused on other contenders and not bought into the fucking hype of an "All British Showdown" because it's bullshit, how many fans could Haye possibly have these days???

Okay, here it is,

His size is nothing special in the current heavyweight division where the major title holders and Nicolay Valuev (he, Don King, and the WBA itself has made his title less meaningful) are all over 6'5 meaning guys like David Haye are already at a disadvantage when it comes to size/height/reach and the only way you can make up for that in the heavyweight division is to either be a technically better boxer or be able to take punishment and still dish out punishment. Haye's style in the cruiserweight division was one where he would land a big bomb and drop his opponent OR stand and trade with his opponent those may work vs limited competition in the heavyweight division but I would recomend that he decide to do something other than what he is currently known for...backing up all the time isn't going to help him much either
I don't want to totally deny the guy all credit, he accomplished good things in the cruiserweight division, but that should be viewed the same as his amateur record...it means NOTHING in the heavyweight division, I know I've been taken to task for posting that before but it's true! Other than Evander Holyfield who else has been a successful heavyweight after being a cruiserweight? James Toney? Vasiliy Jirov? Dwight Qawi? Bert Cooper? Those guys did pretty good at cruiserweight but never really did all that great at heavyweight...maybe David Haye can prove me wrong but history is against him.
Right now David Haye is a circus act and I won't take him seriously until he proves himself to be a true heavyweight.
Well, Mr. El Kabong made some very pertinent points in Oct 2009, and Haye still hasn't proved himself at Heavyweight almost 5 years later.
I'll give you a little rub on the bum, so should others.
Very good, sir.

YES because I've called Haye out from the get go and all he's done is prove my assessment of him to be 100% correct.
#1. NOT WITHOUT MAKING A PLAN IN CASE HAYE BACKED OUT
#2. Haye hadn't officially outed himself as a coward until his move to heavyweight. Wlad was the first fighter Haye ran his little game on and the Klitschko's haven't been suckered into dealing with him again. Haye wanted to play hardball and he got dealt with...everyone should have learned from that experience about Haye, EVERYONE.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Fury knew how Haye works deals before this either that or he is naïve as hell. Fury and Fury's team should have expected this kind of outcome.
Yes Haye is an asshole and Fury is a moron....FACT

Why didnt he even try to get Cunninghams IBF belt (even though he still has the cheeck to call himself undisputed at cruiser;D)?

Iv said it all before. For some odd reason you and a few others have gone mental rabid on replying to anything to do with Tyson Fury like he fingered your mums.
Conversely, if the fight was so easy for Haye why didnt he just go through with it for the easy money?

Saying anything about fingering mums is crass to say the least , however , it was just a simple question I asked , based on the theory of why the majority thought Haye would win by KO , I asked if you could understand our opinion that's all.

Because Cunningham LOST in his first attempt at the vacant IBF title stripped off O'Neil Bell for having a rematch with Mormeck, who he had unified the WBC and WBA titles with. Bell didn't lose the title it was taken off him through politics.
Mormeck then beat Bell. Haye beat Mormeck. Hence, Haye is THE man at cruiserweight. He then chinned out Enzo Macc for the WBO title, for what it's worth.
Cunningham won an IBF title that rightfully belonged to Haye all along. Simple as.

Why didnt he even try to get Cunninghams IBF belt (even though he still has the cheeck to call himself undisputed at cruiser;D)?
Because Cunningham LOST in his first attempt at the vacant IBF title stripped off O'Neil Bell for having a rematch with Mormeck, who he had unified the WBC and WBA titles with. Bell didn't lose the title it was taken off him through politics.
Mormeck then beat Bell. Haye beat Mormeck. Hence, Haye is THE man at cruiserweight. He then chinned out Enzo Macc for the WBO title, for what it's worth.
Cunningham won an IBF title that rightfully belonged to Haye all along. Simple as.
Haye can never ever be regarded as the undisputed cruiser champ. He avoided a fight with his most difficult opponent at cruiser who held the other belt. Same as until Wlad wins the WBC he cant be regarded as the undisputed.

You also told us that Wlad would look fantastic knocking Haye out, you know cause he's really angry with him over the severed head picture and stuff.
Instead Wlad produced his usual boring performance.
That fight was awful. Wlad trying to give Haye a hug and Haye constantly dropping to his knees to attempt blow Wlad off. Least we knew why Hayden Panettiere was showing hatred in the media to Haye, she knew he was planning to make a move on Wlad.

But Fury, being the monster of a fighter that he is, showed true bravery knocking out the guy Haye was so afraid of at Cruiser...
You couldn't be more predictable. Cunningham never called for a Haye fight, and Haye planned to beat Mormeck and move up. The only reason he took Maccarinelli was for the money. To say he avoided Cunningham to go chase a Klitschko fight is just idiocy, but I'm sure you're already aware of that as you'd rather twist history to suit your own opinion.

Wlad is already considered "undisputed" in many quarters. The problem with him and Vitali wasn't the WBC belt, it was the fact that Vitali was the clear "2nd" best heavyweight but they couldn't fight.
After Lennox Lewis became "undisputed" champion the WBA stripped him. Was he still universally recognised as the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world? Yes, even though he didn't have that belt he never lost it in the ring.
Joe Calzaghe dumped the IBF belt after taking it from Lacy. After beating Kessler he became the "undisputed" supermiddle champion... without the IBF belt.

Wlad must be a moron too as he signed to fight him after all the other let downs.
YES because I've called Haye out from the get go and all he's done is prove my assessment of him to be 100% correct.

NOT WITHOUT MAKING A PLAN IN CASE HAYE BACKED OUT

Haye hadn't officially outed himself as a coward until his move to heavyweight. Wlad was the first fighter Haye ran his little game on and the Klitschko's haven't been suckered into dealing with him again. Haye wanted to play hardball and he got dealt with...everyone should have learned from that experience about Haye, EVERYONE.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Fury knew how Haye works deals before this either that or he is naïve as hell. Fury and Fury's team should have expected this kind of outcome.

Unfortunately mate, you may not see him as great undisputed cruiserweight, but almost everyone else does, and if 1000 people say one thing and you say different, well it's more than likely that the 1000 are right.
You need to be flexible Ross, you're opinions are far too strong and it makes you seem biased, and biased people have no credibility in discussions.
For instance, I don't like Fury but I'm not daft I can see his strengths and weaknesses and I would defend him if I thought it was fair.
However Fury and Haye could fight and Fury beat Haye with a crowbar, you'd still find a way to make it Hayes fault.

No, its black and white.
If you hold all the major belts you are undisputed. If there is an existing other belt holder how can you be undispited as there is the chance that other belt holder can beat you. If you hold all the belts there is no dispute who the champion is as there is only one. Haye has never been undisputed, same as Wlad has also never been undisputed. At the moment, he is the only heavyweight champion and will have to beat Stiverne or Arreola for to finally be crowned undisputed. He does deserve that distinction.

@ross does actually have a point here
you have to actually hold the 4 belts to be undisputed champion as far as i know and haye didnt
even tho everybody in boxing considered him the undisputed champion and dont see there to be any argument against that, the only people to question that would probably people who have something against Haye on a personal level, Haye never acually was 100% factually undisputed champion

Re: David Haye: "I hope Wlad beats Leapai and I can get a rematch"
Undisputed is a term commonly used in boxing to describe the standout champion. I've already given you examples of Lewis and Calzaghe. Here are some current ones.
Sergio Martinez has never even fought for a WBA or IBF title, however he beat Pavlik who beat Taylor who beat Hopkins so is recognised as THE true middleweight champ. It's called linage. The man that beat the man. Just because an alphabet takes their title back it doesn't mean the fighter loses his claim to have held it. If you don't lose the title in the ring you're still the champ.
Click the link to see how many boxing articles refer to Martinez as "undisputed" champion.
sergio martinez undisputed champion - Yahoo Search Results
Andre Ward has never won or fought for a WBO or IBF title. Yet it's the same for him - "undisputed" champion.
andre ward undisputed supermiddle champion - Yahoo Search Results
Haye is refered to as "undisputed" not because of the amount of belts he won but who he beat. Bell and Mormeck were the two top ranked fighters at crusierweight holding the WBC, WBA and IBF between them. Haye beat the man that beat the man. Simple.
