Little Timmy tapdancer is going to stink the fuck outta this one. He's going to run all fucking night long throwing his little backhand faggot jabs. He'll pose and pout like the poof he is but everytime Manny blinks he'll jump back and go for a walk around the block. Probably try his luck in one exchange, get caught with a left hand on his bulbous, ugly fucking head then go "Nup, fuck that shit time to run again".
This will be the best bradley we will ever see..
It might even be the best pac..
It's gonna be a great fight and Bradleys a good fighter but I hope Pac punches him up good!!
=P
I believe Tim learned a valuable lesson from the Provodnikov and Pac fights.
Bradley's ability to keep the jab in JMM's face, fight at his pace and distance while controlling most of the exchanges and his hand speed became icing on the cake. Bradley did not get over aggressive, make mistakes and leave himself in awkward/unbalanced positions, inside of JMM's wheel house. Although it was not near brillant, Bradley did exactly what you need to do as a fighter, to beat a brillant counter puncher/boxer like JMM. He used his speed (hands and footwork) to his advantage. Things he clearly did not do against Provodnikov and Pacquaio (although he did show more against Pac, but not enough).
I believe the combination of Bradley fighting an intelligent fight (as he did against JMM) along with the Pac's diminishing speed will make the difference.
Manny to roll back the clock and put on a vintage display.
I like it here just before fights when all those brash, tough-talking brutes who always sez so and so will whoop the ass of so and so all of a sudden become timid lambs. Get back your balls, fellas!;D;)
I didn't think Manny looked too good at the weigh in. Slightly softer all around and didn't look strong through the shoulders and chest. Of course that means nothing, just an observation.
Pac looked good to me he weighed in at 145.
He will be punching from the opening bell
As one of the few who unashamedly admits to believing Bradley won the first fight, all that Pacquiao has to do is fight like the 'Pacman' of old not like the fighter who stepped in with Bradley the first time and took his opponent for granted. I could see by round 6 that Pacman was struggling.
Pacquiao was not switched on in the first fight, where were the angles? where was his ring movement?, where was his power?, where was the Manny Pacquiao that made a mess of DLH, Hatton and Cotto?
He got sparked by JMM and i was not surprised, this is a career defining fight for the Pacman. He needs a convincing victory with no controversy. If he loses he's done and dusted.
How will it go? I expect a far more determined and focused Manny Pacquiao this time around. He should win and nothing short of a KO or totally dominant UD will impress.
Basically I think it will be a one sided fight either way, just a hunch. I can see Bradley coming out trying to overcompensate and make the same mistakes as he's repeating 'I can box, or I can brawl' and walking into repetitive hard counters and indeed forced to play the stalker brawler...or Manny coming in on a bed of flower holding up peace signs and finally realizing that fire is gone. Its been mentioned before and any time you carry a dominated fighter, let a wounded fighter off the hook etc etc Bradley can be more than able to ease him toward the door. I don't see the same mentality Manny showed with Tim 1st time or even Rios beating Bradley...this Bradley. He needs to come violent and well stoked. I don't think there will be much middle ground and one guy will take control early and it will stay that way. Who knows.
Bradley is not going to overcompensate to "prove the doubters wrong". That's cliched and to a degree, wishful thinking.
He is fully aware that he cannot deviate from his game plan and get too overly aggressive as he did against Provodnikov. Pac would step back and pot shot him to death.
Bradley will put on a fine defensive performance. Just watch.
I agree with Sleepwalker. One thing about Bradley is that he's an intelligent fighter except for that one time with provodnikov where he fought with a chip in his shoulder.
This is not going to be some exciting brawl because bradley will not allow it.. he will fight a smart, defensive fight although he will look to engage in spots..
This isnt going to be some thriller..
Pac will win. Hats off to Bradley for basically being an overachiever with the talent he's got... but Pac is a notch above. Having been KO'ed by JMM means nothing, except it made Pac realize he can be hurt and beaten. He'll use his ring smarts, his speed, AND his power to punish Bradley. Of course, Bradley will probably try to make it a messy affair, which is effective, if not crowd-pleasing. I doubt it'll be a KO, because Pac is no longer the "defense-be-damned" type of attacker. The JMM KO took care of that. But it should be a wide UD. It won't be a humiliating, one-sided beatdown, like Rios took from Pac, because Bradley DOES possess some skills and a brain. But it'll be a wide UD just the same.
People keep saying because bradley beat marquez it puts him on the level. Even Teddy Atlas. That guy just hates pacquiao because he always looks stupid for picking the other guy. By that logic Chris John should be in the master class as well. How many times have we heard that styles make fights. Marquez cant handle the outside style and never could. Once paquiao steps on the gas this fight is done. Bradley has heart and endurance and may last the distance but only as a runner. Another thing people keep saying is pacquiao hasnt had a ko in umpteen years well small thing to note, the man has been fighting above his weight class. Was it said he has to eat 5 times a day to keep the weight up.
My final thought before the fight. I'm watching this fight with what the docs' call, 'guarded optimism.' Naturally Bradley is an improved fighter coming into the ring, but Pac, I'm not so sure and I'm not sure if has really recovered from the`KO and still has the punch resistance. And I'm not even talking about style here. It seems though, pure offensive fighters like Manny do well against evasive defensive fighter like Brad, but they seem to be fair game for pure counter-punchers like Marquez and Donaire who just wait for their opponents to fall into their traps (I predicted Pac's possible defeat the last time`and even warned he could be knocked if he got careless). On the other hand, defensive fighters are nightmare for counterpunchers since they don't walk`directly into their traps... Where was I, alright, as a pure offensive fight Pac has an advantage over Bradley but that's not the problem today, the question is Pac the same Pac before the great KO? That's my big question...
Another point is the fact that marquez is 40 years old and way past his prime..that was why the 4th fight was made..it was supposed to close the chapter after three close fights!
Manny looks relaxed and confident and i dont know if thats because of the language issue but he always comes across respectful.
Bradley is so ready to prove he can do it for a convincing 2nd time and you have to at least give him props for fighting 12 full rounds with damaged ankles.
I still can't believe the Manny hype. Are you all serious?? Really?
This is getting beyond a joke. Manny to get beat pretty easily. The man has been living on hype for years and it has not helped him one bit. "Fight Floyd" is all I hear but that is not even funny. Bradley will put him in his place tonight then Bradley to get beat off Floyd in 6 months.....
What time does the card start?
Gandalf, you big silly lump, it is happening right now.
Don't forget: It's been over a year since they last fought. That's not aging overnight. We're talking more like a year and a half of aging. One of the first things to go on a fighter is their chin/punch resistance. Granted, Bradley isn't a power puncher, but his punches are thrown with bad intentions every time. This fight will be close again, but I think Bradley will distance himself this fight.
I had it 8-3-1 for Pacquiao, or 117-112.
I was very disappointed/surprised with Bradley's strategy. I knew he was going to be more physical and try to turn the heat up on Pac this time around, but I never would have thought he'd reduce himself to "looking for one big punch" guy. Not a good strategy, considering A) Manny has made his name whipping bigger "looking for one big punch" guys and B) Tim doesn't even have a big punch to find. He boxed so beautifully against JMM, but in this fight he gassed himself out missing those big haymakers and just couldn't maintain.
Manny boxed more.... he learned from that rushing in with JMM. That's when he got ko'd.
Justice was served tonight. Manny won going away. I had it about 8-4 or 9-3 really as I gave the 5th to Pacquaio as well.
Bradley fought hard n was hangin with Pacquaio the first half the fight, then starting clowning and running too much.
I do NOT want to see a third fight. No one does.
It was a good fight and its over. Pacquaio beat him twice now. Decisively.
it was a good fight. I thought Manny would win but I really had convinced myself it would be by stoppage. I forgot Bradley has a titanium chin. Good entertaining fight. I'd rather not see a third Bradley v Pac but I think it will happen. Does anyone know how much these guys made tonight.
By the way, did anyone catch Bradley saying in the post fight interview that he hurt his leg again during the fight and that's one reason he started losing. Even if it is true I wish he hadn't said that. Or at least don't say that in the ring right after the fight, put it out there in later interviews.
Bradley's luck ran out , the guy has had plenty.
That was pretty funny what bradley, especially. Since standing flat footed, it took pacquiao off is game. Bradley obviously tried to take marquez route with that oveehand right and upper cuts probably thought they found the key in watching film. Bradley wasuch stronger than i gave him credit for or pacquiao being a bit older has lost some power
