The 'religious majority' of the public who fund our western governments war machines belive we are the side of righteousness (as mentioned in the bible on side with Israel)and they prey in one or two of those institutions you mentioned. So from the outside looking in you cant blame the opposition thinking it; when they see our leaders doing all their ceremonies within churches and calling upon God in Jesus name to bless all our soldiers leaving to foreign shores and the same for the dead on their return.

Big oil is the issue? Coal? Natural gas? Might I remind you that most of if not all of the greenies out there wanting to limit Anthropogenic Global Warming are also anti-Nuclear energy....nuclear energy being the cleanest most efficient energy available to man.
I've always thought we should go Nuclear. Its safe too when managed correctly,only trouble could be like in Japan with earth quakes but out here in the desert on sand Id imagine a floating slab wouldn't break up, it would just move as a whole unit:-\.
By the way, have you ever steered an actual boxing thread into a political anti climate change topic? This is an art you have developed well; in this case it went from hunting to environment to your topic. I recon you need one in the mixed martial arts section too:)
