I like Katie Abdo. Too much makeup and very skinny but she'd do right now like.
Ok let's shake off the last fight. Hopefully this one will be better. I think Spicoli fell asleep.
Putting a dry rub on beef ribs and hoping Showtime never does that again. Gervonta Davis hopping around like a school kid meeting Odell beckham ;D
Both Barrios and Zamora going for the home run. Entertaining fight where Barrios is dominating with his height and reach. He can't doze off on Zamora however, because Zamora has good power coming back.
This is much better. Barrios might walk into something here.
Big balls on Zamora he took some shots in 3rd. Barrios looks like a kid determined to step it up.
Whew. Brutal! Zamora was getting hammered badly and it wasn't going to change. Paulie says too soon eh
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Ref what the f*ck are you doing??!!?? Stopped the fight in the middle of a heated exchange!! Totally unfair to Zamora, who's got cojones the size of canteloupes. Damn I feel sorry for that little guy. Stunned but fighting back. Damn..... unfortunate stoppage. Kind of knew it was coming though.
Plant v Benavidez would be a real nice fight.
The ref did Zamora a favour. He could have got there earlier but it's a TV fight.
Welp. I guess this intro beats shitty rappers?
Holy cow!!!!
Kinda one sided.
His nose just exploded. Davis still gets hit a few right hands but is willing to give it up.
Good predictable ko for Davis. He makes Teddy sound like Morgan Freeman.
Floyd was looking on approvingly. Probably thinking... "thank God I never had to face this kid."
The Fortuna fight was awful. I could hardly pay attention. It was so ugly.
The Barrios fight was good while it lasted. I get the stoppage but I really don’t like the ref stopping the fight when the fighter is clearly throwing back. You have to let him try and win.
The last fight was what it was. I understand it was a last minute replacement so there isn’t much that could be done about that. Hopefully Davis does what he says and fights 3 or 4 times this year.
Davis will fold Loma up like a deckchair
Fact
His next fight is against the little Japanese karate fella Floyd just had his pantomime with.
Floyd is purposely making this kid a laughing stock with these opponents. :D
Just saying...

Get a top opponent then try to get Loma or go away. I hate watching fighters waste their careers. I don’t care that it was last minute the Mares fight would have been a walk in the park too. Choose someone that can challenge you.
Rumor has it he is fighting the same guy that Mayweather fought in Japan as an exhibition. That Japanese guy is making bank for going into the ring just to get destroyed.
That would be a new low. Last night was definitely a rebranding and reintroduction for him of sorts. The solo ring walk with that awkward smile alone ;D. But no need for gimmicks and garbage exhibitions if you're supposedly a future elite boxer who struggle to make weight.

"Gervonta Davis Will Face Former Floyd Mayweather Foe Tenshin Nasukawa In An Exhibition Boxing Match"
Well hell. What else to expect when Floyd is Davis's promoter...
Honestly. It's one thing for Floyd to join the circus in order to keep his name in lights. He already HAD his career.
Quit F*CKING around with someone who's just starting out. This is beyond ludicrous and someone should put a stop to it.
Floyd, if THAT'S what you're gonna do with boxing, kindly get the F outta Dodge. Thanks.
I don’t really get it.. why would the Japanese kids promoters go along with this? From everything I know top fighters over there can make good money without competing in freak shows. If they see him as a potential earner with a future, putting him in a consecutive circus mismatch is horrible handling. He’s 20 years old and has never fought above 126 in his own sport, which certainly isn’t boxing. Davis also won’t make anywhere near what Floyd did, you’d have to think less than he would for just a credible fight in his own sport and country. Maybe this Tenshin guy isn’t actually interested in fighting for a living and everyone involved just wants a chunk of cash for showing up:-\
His next fight is in Japan against the guy Floyd beat.
If it actually happens, which I'm not quite convinced it will, it's mishandling of the Japanese kid as you said. But it's also a black eye for boxing, because Gervonta is one of boxing's brightest rising stars. He just demolished Hugo Ruiz in impressive fashion and who cares if people start avoiding him.... he can't be avoided forever. We don't need these sideshows that all they do is waste precious time. I place the blame squarely on Floyd's shoulders, who again, if the fight actually happens, should be questioned as to his motives. Surely it's not money. He hasn't had enough time to squander away his millions. If he truly wants to promote, go for it. But don't drag a young, rising star to the same circus you apparently enjoy after having wrapped up your career. Just as puzzling that Gervonta would actually go along with it. Maybe in a strange kind of twisted logic way, Floyd wants to "legitimize" his own circus fights by having a current star follow his footsteps (??). :dontknow:
The thing is though doesn't it almost make a mockery of Floyd even more to have a guy much smaller go in and very likely pull off the same victory? Looks doubly bad for Davis also because its just an excuse to come in heavy and its not like he isn't already struggling with that in his "real" profession. Not to beat a dead horse but its just a massively dumb short sighted stunt for Davis. May weather just needs to sit down and stfu up already and Davis needs to get the hell away from Floyd's shadow. This is worse than some circus act Butterbean shat.
Floyd obviously sees Davis as somebody who could eventually do big PPV numbers and this must fit into some hare brained scheme to PPVise him. Is all I can think of. But like you say he's much smaller than Floyd and he's struggling at the weight he's at now. I have a feeling for all the obvious skill that he could have a Broner like career, a bully at lower weights but unable to handle it when he moves up. He's even got some of the same out of the ring issues that Broner has I think although could be misremembering. He's going to be fun to watch though.
I believe he's being sued right now for allegedly going all Ike Turner on some stripper and hex was on his best behaviour Saturday. The saying goes you're as good as the company you keep. He and Broner are always hanging together. Really does make Mayweather look like a dim bulb.
He also makes Mayweather sound like Martin Luther king. He’s a massive talent and great to watch, but if you listen to him speak, you have to wonder if he is for real mentally retarded:-\ He almost can’t possibly be as stupid as he sounds, but if it’s even in the same stratosphere, then you may as well forget questioning anything he does or goes along with out of the ring.
