i would say foreman. i remember when foreman fought joe frazier and frazier has this bobbing head movement so foreman just punched him on the top of the head and down goes frazier
Earnie Shavers hands down and then maybe Chris Byrd http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygN07...elated&search=
I think it was Shavers. He knocked people out and no TKO's
no your thinking of the white guy . There is a big black guy also called corey sanders and he is 6'6 and 300 pounds . He sparred with both tyson and wlad and he says that tyson punchers harder than wlad or any other fighter.Quote:

If shavers wasnt and Tua and Tyson and all these other names why hasnt anyone said anything about Morrision.
No I'm thinking of Corey 'T-Rex' Sanders, the big fat black guy who KO'd Oleg Maskaev.Quote:

I'm still saying Foreman, he was a BRUTAL puncher and the 68 KO's help him out

We seem to have this thread at least once a month.
Was he the hardest puncher?
If you lined up all the great heavyweights in front of a heavy bag, had them throw their hardest punch, and measured the impact.... then no, I don't think Tyson would be the "hardest" puncher. I think fighters like Shavers and Foreman would measure higher.
Now, in an actual fight in the ring, punching is about more than just power, it's about speed, accuracy, and sharpness, as well as pure power. When you factor in all those things, then Tyson in his prime may have been the most dangerous or devestating puncher in the ring, although Foreman would have a legit argument.
I vote no.
