I believe the thread almost states "No boxer should learn to fight like Antonio." But if more young fighters took the same mental approach to the sport as Antonio did it would be 700% better a spectacle.
Margarito is not to be admired because of his chin. He should be admired for his ability to maintain a huge output throughout a fight, for his willingness to fight every second of every round and his hunger for victory. He may not be flashy, decorated or have fans checking every training video trying to emulate him, but he must be admired for his pure raw unadulterated hunger and work ethic.
It's What Makes boxing GREAT. Can get completely different styles and skill level, yet it still isn't an easy trip to the bookies.
If everyone came up like Marg, it would be just a question of the toughest SoB getting to the top like in the days of Sullivan. The constant evolution of the sport to counter what works for some guys is fascinating, yet supposedly lesser skilled fighters can still make up for it with other attributes. Tony's breakdown of Cottto will remain a favourite of main for ever.
