300K is considered a big success in PPV numbers. There is always going to be a competitive opponent to make an argument about who is the draw. No one really knows what it is that makes the draw a mega draw, its only the current buzz along with marketing research that gives promoters an idea if the fight will be big or not. I sincerely hope he does not get paid this amount because there is no incentive to take on bigger challengers.
I think to draw him in to a fight they are paying him this much. I see this fight as a reward to a great fighter JMM. this is his chance, i hope he seize it. I know floyd is thinking oh easy fight for this much money, i think his in for a rude awakening. almost like how ricky hatton found out may 2nd. I don't think anyone really knows what Mayweather Jr's real earning are. He likes to think he is all that and more. Believe what you want dude! I'd say the two are pretty even to date. Something no one is mentioning.
