Khan has been taking on guys who can't pop bubble wrap with their punches since being stopped, but he's improved since then, so he should honestly prove he has the balls to take on a puncher and make up for his glass chin with sharp defense, but well back to the subject, Judah is a good fight for Khan at this point
Ive also heard there second option on the undercard if the Judah fight cant be made is the one and only Castillo lol, just as bad as morales if you ask me.
:-\ i try to hold back on the guy and then this comes up lol, if he takes on Castillo (who can't even get passed Lujan of all people now) Khan deserves all the thrashing he gets, Judah is a DECENT fight, but Castillo is just plain bullshit, he's completely shot, next we'll be hearing Roach and Khan say that they want to take on Julio Cesar Chavez.....Senior:-X
Apparently Castillo refused to spar Khan in the hope they would fight in the future, I think this is Roach's ideal next opponent for Khan.
Re: Few rumours I heard could be Khan v Judah on Mayweather undercard
Castillo sounds more realistic than Judah considering it's an undercard fight for the American's.
Re: Few rumours I heard could be Khan v Judah on Mayweather undercard
but it does nothing to help Khan establish himself as one of the best in the division, IMO all of the fighters i named should be ranked above him

I love how you can never give a serious answer, despite being asked repeated times what would make you give Amir credit. Maybe it's because you're just a hater, and
will hate him whoever he fights eh?
What are you thick or something I've already said that! :beat:
What's up with you clowns that need to have every fighter loved?

Khan is already ranked the 2nd best at 140.. according to The Ring ;)
Khan fighting in America on the Pac-Floyd undercard is just about selling him to America. He has to look IMPRESSIVE for that to happen so a veteran like Castillo is just about the right opponent. That's the business.

it's ridiculous, Castillo has no business being in the ring, he's given enough to the sport, and Khan trying to take advantage of his name with no regard to how seriously hurt the guy can get is absurd
Re: Few rumours I heard could be Khan v Judah on Mayweather undercard
Judah fought on a TV undercard recently so he's probably willing to accept crap enough money for the Khan fight. Khan would probably take undercard money to get himself the shop window. I think JLC is more likely than Judah though, less speed than Zab makjes Khan's speed look more impressive, less chance of a chin disaster.

Castillo maybe past his best but he's still active - he's fought 4 or 5 times this year. Anyway.. it's only a rumour.
I'm sure Khan would fight Floyd or Pac if it was up to him.

his actions sure say otherwise, he seems content fighting bums, as long as he has that little belt around his waist :-\

Give it a rest mate. He fought Kotelnik for the title and then fulfilled his mandatory. What the hell is he supposed to do?

Kotelnik the weakest fighter at 140, and bullshit, his mandatory was Maidana and Castillo is a step in the completely wrong direction, read the entire thread before putting your two cents, i said that he has potential, but he seriously needs to step it up, and thinking about taking on Morales or Castillo is far from stepping up in opposition, i also said that Judah would be a step in the right direction and that he should be given plenty of credit even for making the fight, but if he goes for Castillo i don't see how anyone can even try to make it seem like a decent fight

But why post in a thread of a fighter you don't give a shit about? people are trying to have a constructive discussion and people like you are spoiling it with your random hating.. I mean, at least VD gives some insight into WHY he thinks something..
Re: Few rumours I heard could be Khan v Judah on Mayweather undercard
Is Maidana Khan's mandatory? Did he fulfill his mandatory obligations by fighting Salita? Will he be forced to reliquish his belt if he doesn't fight Maidana?

He's stepping up at a very decent rate. He's gone from being starched, to winning the world title and defending it against a mandatory challenger in the space of 14 months. If he keeps progressing like this he'll be fighting the elite names (if he gets that far) by the time he's 26/27....Just like most other elite fighters do.
I don't think you can call him on the Castillo speculation since it's just that...speculation.

there were tougher winnable fights out there for him instead of Barrera at 135, he could have taken on one of the tougher challengers instead of jumping at a world title, sorry but once you win a belt you're basically making the statement that you're ready for world class opposition, and Castillo and Salita are most definitely not that, i've burnt Berto on the same thing, but he's at least stepped it up since winning the title by fighting Collazo, Urango, and now set to take on Mosley, Khan shouldn't be rushed, but neither should he have someone holding his damn hand, Judah is a step up, although not at his best anymore, he's still a good opponent and test for Khan, Castillo simply isn't, and i understand that it's just speculation, but honestly guys like Morales and Castillo shouldn't even be considered as suitable opponents for Khan at this stage
