There is a very good chance I'll be heading to T.O. too, before CFH even. For both school and boxing, or even just school. I hear a lot of the same about the city. That it is you either love it or hate it. And that most hate it because people tend to be cold and indifferent. But that it is loaded with opportunity and things to do. So like most things, I suppose there is a trade off.
When I talk about Toronto, I try to be as impartial as possible, especially because of the known good old Rivalry Montreal-Toronto, Habs vs Leafs, French Canadians vs English Canadians etc. IT is not a nice city, for sure, compared to Montreal there is no portrait. For the nightlife neither, most things close at 1:00 am where in Montreal, because it is set under the french rules, everything can be open till 3:00 am without problems. However business wise and jobwise, Toronto is definitely better than Montreal, it's bigger, more companies (more expensive to live, too)and to go to Europe you can have dozen more flights and in average always cheaper. On that side, you can't go wrong at all. When would you get there Youngblood? An Montreal, any chances you have to visit the boxing mecca of Canada anytime soon?

Beyond believable as well! I would have never thought.

While the Swiss showed moxy and determination in taking out the Russians, sending them into the semi-finals, the Canadian team proved to be too much of a task as the semi played through earlier today.
Final score Canada 6 - Switzerland 1
Sweden plays the USA tonight to determine who will face Canada in the final. Either team should prove to be strong enough to make it an exciting game as Canada continues the drive for world junior hockey supremacy and 6 consecutive wins.
The final will be played Tuesday.
Re: World Junior Hockey Tournament
The USA beat Sweden 5-2 and the stage is set.
After the last game, in which the USA dominated the greater portion of, Canada needs to come ready for this one from the opening puck drop. Having heart and never giving up in one thing, but playin from behind is never a good thing.
Should be a great game.
Go Canada!

I was hoping Sweden would win, but oh well. Go America!

Re: World Junior Hockey Tournament
Not as big as Canada-Russia but a good north American Rivalry indeed, our boys should not make the same mistake as at the beginning of the tournament and this time, it should not be as dramatic as the first time, go homeboys go, six in a row:D
Re: World Junior Hockey Tournament
And the puck is dropped and we're under way!
Just under 3 mins in and Canada scores! 1-0
This game is already very exciting and back and forth wide open hockey. Anyone's game to win.
Re: World Junior Hockey Tournament
Re: World Junior Hockey Tournament
As soon as I post that Canada scores. 2-2.
Re: World Junior Hockey Tournament
Damn what a game!
Much I'm sure to our USA traitor/communist's delight, Benedict Arnoldomov aka CFH, the US storms back and scores 2 goals in 32 seconds to make it 2-1.
Shortly after Canada takes advantage of an offensive drive and ties it up.
2-2 it is.
Re: World Junior Hockey Tournament
damn what a bad penalty to take.
2 and a 10 misconduct. Stupid shit like that will make the difference.

Words cannot express how much I dislike Pierre McGuire as a commentator. Also, anyone doing that ridiculous Pepsi sponsored eh-oh-Canada-go chant deserves to be shot on site.

I'm with you on that one. Embarassingly :gay5:.
Re: World Junior Hockey Tournament
3-2 America. Jake Allen is a mediocre goalie. Fortunately for the Canadians, so is Lee.
Re: World Junior Hockey Tournament
The U.S. are all over Canada here.
