just for laughs. it will be hilarious if margarito will use xylocaine so that his hands will not hurt from the concrete ;D
LOL now your speaking my language. I have spent this whole thread trying to figure out why this so called revelation even matters when hes never used it out of nevada.
it's a fact Xylocaine is not banned in 1 state (nevada) but there's valid reasons too why it's banned in 49 other usa states. it's safe to say Xylocaine is a widely banned illegal substance

dude give it up, Floyd only uses xylocaine for his hands due to him having incredibly fragile hands, if it was helping him hit harder at all he'd have a hell of a lot more KO's as of late
his fights from 2000 to 2009
Gregorio Vargas - UD
Emanuel Augustus - TKO
Diego Corrales - TKO
Carlos Hernandez - UD
Jesus Chavez - TKO
Jose Luis Castillo - UD
Jose Luis Castillo II - UD
Victoriano Sosa - UD
Phillip N'dou - TKO
DeMarcus Corley - UD
Henry Bruseles - TKO
Arturo Gatti - TKO
Sharmba Mitchell - TKO
Zab Judah - UD
Carlos Baldomir - UD
Oscar De La Hoya - SD
Ricky Hatton - TKO
Juan Manuel Marquez - UD
so that's 10 decisions to 8 KO's, 6 of those KO's being at 140 and under
hmmmm yea those pain killers are making Floyd a mini Tyson :mad::mad::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

without xylocaine, it's possible floyd would have lesser ko wins or possible he could lose some of those fights. it's obvious xylocaine helped floyd in his fights otherwise he would not have used this widely banned substance

Widely banned....but not in nevada where floyd uses it though. So nothing dodgy. Everyone can use it so there is no disadvantage.
The aim of this whole conversation is to say "hey mayweather is a cheater too" when it only counts as cheating when something is illegal and it has been made quite clear in this topic that it is not illegal in Nevada so i really think the writer of the article has failed epically.

Xylocaine or Lidocaine is both anesthetic and stimulant/psychoactive drugs which induce temporary improvements in either mental or physical function or both. Examples of these kinds of effects may include enhanced alertness, wakefulness, and locomotion, among others.
Cocaine and Lidocaine have similar psychological euphorigenic effects after intranasal application. Lidocaine is often used as additive to cocaine to form "crack".
It may not make Floyd mini Tyson but it can provide him advantage over a non-using opponent.

Well if they are so worried about it then they are free to use it themselves ;)

Since when does an anesthetic make you more alert? Are you sure it doesnt mean with an adrenaline injection or something? Every site i look at regarding this drug said it was more likely to cause nausea and make you tired then to make you more alert.

Lidocaine when used with epinephrine can be PED.
Not all anesthetics are sedative, if that's what you mean, like cocaine, and morphine.

and yet he's only used Xylocaine, which is JUST an anesthetic, meaning it numbs his hands...
you mix clorox with toilet cleaner and aluminum it makes a bomb, yet none of them are illegal substances when used individually :-X

Pac who has never had history of illegal substance use, refused special drug test, everyone acted as if he indeed is doping, while Floyd exposed to have advertently used "crack substitute" everyone acted like it's no big deal. I guess that's what Floyd meant when he said "level playing field" "sportsmanship at the highest level"

yea cause an anesthetic is the same thing as a performance enhancing drug :-X:rolleyes:

Floyd used before....but only one person is refusing to take the test now. Wrestling is fake too. So what.

Since both Mayweather and Arum are proven to be less that truthful, neither of their statements can be taken as credible. i.e. both claim the offer came outside of mediation. I would expect that if Arum's statements about the text message are in fact true, they would use them as more evidence in Pacquiao Law suit.
So Arum and Mayweather are conspiring to make Manny look like a fraud? You people are fucking delusional.

There are other things you can use to numb your hands that are legal everywhere. The thing Floyd tok is just the most effective. And like people already said, it's legal in Vegas so this is a nonissue desperately dredged up by the Pacneedle camp to deflect attention from their guy refusing random drug testing.
