Surely you or someone else will bring up money being the issue....was it an issue? Yes but nothing that a renegotiation couldn't fix, certainly The Klitschko's would oblige him in seeing that he got paid for his work, they aren't heartless.
He couldn't re-negotiate with Setanta to not go bankrput.

...I wasn't talking about renegotiating with them (I was thinking renegotiate with the Klitschko's) BUT that company being bankrupt they could have opted to sell off certain sports event to another network could they not?
But you saw the dude for what he was a chickenshit only interested in money and not interested in being the best. Which is why there were lies and slander used to cover up him running away instead of just coming out and saying "The network is broke and can't pay me"

I am eager to see what the nay sayers will have to say about Haye being chicken when he does take the fight with a Klitschko. This "chicken" argument has an expiration date, so perhaps people may want to consider what their next "Haye Hating Talking Points" will be. Ideas? :p
And although the chances are slim, if Haye ends up winning such a fight, it is going to be hilarious on this forum.

The way the guy went about ducking Wlad and Vitali while simultaneously touting how great he was and how he was going to cut their heads off is the absolute WEAKEST dick tuck moment in the HISTORY of boxing!
Name me a fighter that ducked someone worse than this guy? Riddick Bowe dropping the WBC belt in the trash can for Lennox Lewis? That's the only one that comes to my mind...I mean what this WBA title holder has done makes him a yellow bellied dirty rat of a fucking coward.
1 fight was nixed due to Setenta going broke, what happened with the other fight??? The one where he decided to fight Valuev instead of Vitali????
How can you defend this guy?

um... is it still ducking if he fights them later?
I believe its only ducking if he never fights them.
Re: David Haye another Amir Con? Manufactured "champ?"
The reality is, whether it was luck or not, it makes more business sense for Haye to take the WBA route, it gives him time to build up experience in the division and generate interest in the decision. The Klits are getting older and the chances are getting better for a Haye victory. I still think Haye should take a couple more fights and maybe fight the Klits next year, for his sake as I truthfully cannot see him beating either of them.

Bradley has a better record than Khan at 140, that's why he's rated in front of him, he is no legit champion though.
As for fighting anyone in the division, for a guy like Bradley that sells no tickets and has no fans (outside the hardcore), it's understandable he risks the tougher guys to get the money.
Unfortunately Bradley is a "ducker" too though.

David Haye has no say in what Setanta do. None whatsoever. They tried to keep affloat but they owed too much money to the Premier League for football rights.
Considering that would have been Haye's ONLY source of income it's a bit strange for you to label him a 'chicken shit'.
Why the fuck would he fight for free?
Re: David Haye another Amir Con? Manufactured "champ?"
...then how did the Valuev fight come off??? The Setenta saga was well over by then and Vitali wanted to take on this chump and he chose Valuev instead....after talking all that shit and Vitali gives him a chance to man up and make it right and what did he do? He took the easy road.
I for one figured the guy needed to get a title and some experience before he fought the Klitschko's but you can't run off at the mouth like that and then tuck tail when you get a shot. That's what pissed me off so bad, he talked shit knowing full well he wasn't going to take the fight.

As I understand it the Klitschko's were driving a hard some would say unfair bargain as far as negotiations for a fight with Haye.
Haye and his team simply outflanked the brothers grim by making an easier deal with Valuev's people.
Haye wanted the Klit boys but settled for Valuev.
I am not saying that Haye will beat them but please dont try and say he is scared of them because the evidence says other wise.
Re: David Haye another Amir Con? Manufactured "champ?"
The haye klit fights will happen eventually. They have too. No one is ducking no one. Haye just went the smart way about everything. And in a sport where where u can be killed legally, I see nothing wrong with that.it's made the potential clash even bigger anyway

And ICB, his record at cruiserweight means didlely squat at HW. He's going to have to prove himself at HW
It makes no sense to say that Haye needs to prove himself at HW, if everytime he has a HW fight someone going to come along and say that the win doesnt mean anything, and he is a manufactured champ.
And the issue about pulling out of the fights with the Klitschkos is debatable. Other people have already debated this and I dont want to touch it, because it will not get us anywhere. But to say that Haye "punked out" is to stating your opinion, not necessarily fact.
The only real proof will come when the fight with a Klitschko happens. So why cant people just be patient and let it happen? Just because it didnt happen does not mean that it will not happen. (ie Mayweather Pacqiauo)
Wait a minute. The people on this board are saying that Haye is the savior of the HW division and that he easily and definitely beats the Klitschkos easy. So he doesn't need to prove himself by taking on the Klitschkos?
Most people here are saying he's the HW champ? So shouldn't the HW champ prove it in the ring against the Klitschko who have dominated the division for a while now?
@Fenster
Pac may be the last man at 140 and we all know he's not fighting there again, but it is generally recognized that Bradley is the defacto "man" at 140 right now, the guy to beat. Surely you're not suggesting that Con boy is more legitimate than Bradley at 140?
And Haye at the HW division just like Khan at 140 is a manufactured champ. People should Stop bringing up his cruiserweight reign, it means didley squat at HW. By that logic we might as well used Pac's reign at 130 to say that he's accomplished a lot at Welterweight.
Mark my words, Haye will be fighting a Eddie Chambers, Adamek, guys that are iffy at HW. He's going to avoid the Klits for the next 2 years and hopes that they either lose, become shot, or in serious decline to take them on. He for sure ain't taking on a Arreola either or even a Povetkin.
BTW, it's kind of funny that many on this board has been calling either Pac or Mayweather as cherry picking fighters that don't take real challenges, but for Haye everything's a-okay with the Klitschko debacle and his little foray into the HW division fighting guys like Barret, Ruiz, etc.
Forgive me if people have actually said it, but I am yet to see anybody seriously say that Haye would 'easily and definitely beats the Klitschkos easy'
To be honest I dont think Haye is particulaly great but attacking him for saying his achievements at cruiser mean dick and then saying he hasnt fought anybody worth mentioning in his new division by your logic should surely go hand in hand? If what he did at cruiser doesn't mean anything he should have to build up his heavyweight status... Is that not what he's doing?
Ignore the shit he and his fans say, do you not agree that he's going about things as he should if what he's done outside of Heavyweight doesn't mean anything?

Well basically the only options he could get from either Klitschko was a fight, in Germany, where Haye only takes home the UK TV money (Setanta), and where there was an immediate re-match clause + a fight against the other Klit.
That's why he went after the Heavyweight title. Especially when Setanta went bust. Not sure how that equates to him taking the easy road. He wants to fight a Klit but he also wants decent terms and decent money for it. The Klits seem to want everything on there terms because Haye apparently has no bargaining power. Now he has a title, and he has massive popularity (in the UK), he brings much more to the table.
Re: David Haye another Amir Con? Manufactured "champ?"
So just because the WBA title holder is "extremely popular in England" the Klitschko's should get the shit end of the stick? Last time I checked Wlad was THE MAN in the division ergo he is entitled to his fair share and if anyone wants to take his place they can earn good money fighting Wlad and better money if they beat him. Why is that not clicking with you guys? When in the history of boxing has the challenger made more than the champion? But I guess the guy is obviously not ducking Wlad...fucking SHAMELESS fanboyism from you Brits, you have 0 idea about business!
