Yes, he definitely would. But to judge that guard based on the video is unfair.

As you can see from my previous comments, I did not even pass judgement on Floyd's behavior. I just posted the possibilities of why the guard may have behaved that way since he is getting a lot of the blame. Is it possible that the guard may really be at fault? Yes, it is. But we don't have all the facts and it's fair to present the other perspective.
What are you, a "Security Guard"? How the hell do can you say it's unfair? No one is prejudging the Guard. It's just a knee jerk reaction to the asshole asking for an ID for the man to enter the Association to his own house. He's making Mayweather jump through hoops to gain access to his house. Mayweather's reaction was well justified. I would go out of my way to see to it that that Guard no longer worked there if I were harassed like that. And I'm sure every resident living there as well if they are treated this way would want him out as well. The only exception I can see in this type of situation is if the Association were conspiring to get Floyd to move out.

Stick a fork in Floyd, he's DONE !!!!
Career over, mark my words, the Duck is going to jail this time...as well he should, as well he should.
For 10 years, the Fraud been given slaps on the wrist for his many crimes; this time he's not getting preferential treatment.

One of my close friend works as a security guard so I have the inclination to defend the security guard.
Maybe a car with the word Miss Jackson coming into a prestigious gated community at 4 am and driven by a guy made the guard suspicious ............... okey, what the heck, the guard is racist and should be hanged.

Why is the word Miss Jackson suspicious? It was Floyd Mayweather, surely they are used to him coming back at 4am. Isn't that when Floyd is most active? It's a grown man trying to get into his own house and it is an extremely famous athlete to boot.
I don't live in a multi million dollar apartment complex, but I do have security guards and sometimes it is someone new on the job. Never have I been asked to produce my ID to get into the building and I have sometimes come back home in the early hours of the morning. What's the problem? Is Floyd under a curfew? It helps that I am the only white man in the building and it should help that Floyd is an internationally recognised sports star. The guard SHOULD have known who Floyd was as you should know your subject matter before taking on a job.
Facial recognition should be enough. As I said earlier the only excuse the guard has is if it was his first day on the job and really had no idea who Floyd was. Otherwise, he should be looking for a new job right now.

The things you say about others only shed light on your own personality.
None of those things were said or even close to being mentioned in the video. And like most have said, unless that guy has never been out into the world, his first day on the job etc etc then there's no way that he didnt know who floyd mayweather was.
Then when you consider the fact that Floyd told the guy that he already had a problem with the other guard, who by the is now gone from that post which possibly opened up that job for that guy. THERE'S NO FUCKING WAY HE WOULD BE CLUELESS TO WHO FLOYD IS. That dude was being a dick PERIOD.

Probably not in a Miss Jackson car which threw the guard off.

Everything we've said is proven by the fact that the first thing the guards says is
"Sir, I know it's you, but I still need to see your I.D."
CASE CLOSED, DUDE was a fucking dick on purpose.

Why are you talking about hanging, nobody wants him hung. He made a mistake, though I have no idea why this footage is now spreading its way around the net. This should be private footage considering that Mayweather himself is helping to subsidise this security.
Now okay, there is some writing on the side of the car, but Floyd is clearly visible with the window down. Floyd doesn't look like anybody called Miss Jackson. He is Floyd Mayweather, the world famous boxer. If you are a guard, then you should surely know the famous residents of the complex. How can you not know that kind of information?
Maybe it's his first day, but something is obviously amiss.

LOL.....But even floyd incriminates himself on the footage...because he says he doesn't have an id. While driving a vehicle, he needs a drivers license. So he wasn't exactly mr smart guy as it pertains to the possibility of that coming up later. Then one can consider that Floyd did have his ID but felt that he shouldn't have to show it to get into his own house, but that's neither here nor there, because the guard opened the door first with his
"I know its you" comment.... the rest doesn't matter.

That's true about the driving license, but if I was being pushed like that I would have dug my heels in too. Why should you show ID to get into your own home? Unless this is a uniform policy that all residents have agreed to for security reasons, then it has no basis. And like you say if the guard did actually know who Floyd was then he was just being a dick. And the fact that this footage is now 'out there' makes me question the whole situation.

Well its symbolic, when floyd yelled, everyone is saying he went ballistic as if it was without reason. Meanwhile the guard started the whole negative exchange with his politely being a dick, with a soft spoken comment that was somehow missed by everyone...
Re: Floyd Mayweather rant at guard!!!!! LOL
The old idiom, the door swings both ways, rings true again. Appearance the HOA is backing the Security Guards and has filed a Lawsuit against Floyd Mayweather. So one might conclude with out reading the charge that the conspiracy theory to get Floyd out may actually have some teeth. However upon further enlightenment by reading the claims Lil' Floyd is actually exhibiting behavior like a Prima Dona.
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_1...78-504083.html
"The suit also alleges that Mayweather refused to obtain a transponder to gain access to the community and has refused to place identification decals on his vehicles."
In light of the above, If Floyd had actually used transponder offered to gain access to the community, no Guard interaction would have been necessary. Completely unnecessary drama.
I now conclude that Lil' Floyd is a full "Drama Queen". (no news there)
It all amount to no more than a expensive ticket Floyd. He should really think about getting his own space because he just doesn't play well with others.
