The Big Bang, Evolution, etc nothing answers what kicked off the Big Bang, what was there before the Big Bang (for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction), evolution also has a point where science runs out of logical explanations...there you go. No, of course you can't. It is blind belief and blind belief alone. It has NOTHING to substantiate it. Not even a tiny little jot. Everything scientific comes from research and investigation. Religion and god belief is based on nothing.

These two fields of energy do more work through us than anything else does.
If you cannot explain a miracle cure happens through working with the reverse to hatred and fear; then explain how feelings changed the material.
We can even see it occur with our own eyes on the quantum level these days but still cant explain how observation alone, changes electron outcomes.
Also if there was a Creator and many of Its sons and daughters said 'I want to go it alone I can do this'. What if you were that loving allowing Creator, what would you do? What would you set up for them in order for them to experience that in its fulness?
What limit would you allow them to go to before you had to turn from them and leave them to it wholly and allow them to really reap what they wish to sow? The answer is staring us in the face and still many choose it.
I don't think belief in god is a weakness, but it is clearly a blind faith. It has nothing to support, so likewise it is no different to superstition. People seem to have a thing for blind faith. I just think it is silly though. You should only believe in things that are known to exist otherwise you might as well start believing in the Loch ness monster. It's very romantic and grand, but ultimately quite pointless. If there is zero evidence then it is merely a hunch and people have all kinds of daft hunches. God seems to be the ultimate one. People just don't seem happy with their mortality so fall for a greater narrative.Quote:

I'll take this time to ask you a few questions:
1. If people evolved from monkeys or apes then why are there still monkeys and apes?
2. If we did evolve A) What started life to begin with B) How/Why did we evolve? C) How was Earth the ONLY place in our solar system that has life? D) Basically if life is simple, and just a matter of coincidence then how did we appear here and then for us to evolve from apes too....what are the odds?
3. If the Big Bang happened A) What was there before the Big Bang B) Why was there a Big Bang?
Basically I'm asking for a scientific explanation of "What was there before there was anything and why was it there? Who put it there? What put the wheels in motion for there to be life, Earth, etc?"

They are not synonymous terms at all, but people who believe in religions typically believe in a father figure type of god. If you don't believe in that then you generally push towards a more reasoned means of trying to understand the universe. In which case you are moving more beyond god and an acceptance that god has next to nothing to do with humanity nor our futile little quest on an insignificant little planet. That is where science and a more reasoned approach to understanding comes into play and the way science is heading it is pretty much leaning towards a greater understanding of everything. We can cure cancers, analyse black holes and create sheep in a lab. Science is making all the moves and ultimately our understanding will come from scientific research. There can be no other way of furthering knowledge. Abstract musings count for little when accurate research can tell us so much more.Quote:
