Vitali never lost to a 41-1 underdog :-X
Was he ever a 41-1 favorite?
only reason he isn't is cause neither Wlad nor Vitali is ever given the credit they deserve, because if any of the guys in the lower side of the top 10 were to beat him it would be more or less the same as them losing to Douglas, no one in the HW division is anywhere close to either bro, you could NEVER say that about Mike
You obviously dont remember how massive he was then:rolleyes:
There was a feeling that Mike was unbeatable. With the Klitschkos the general concencus is that they are on top because they are so big that the poor division cant beat them (although Purity, Byrd, Sanders, Lewis and Brewster have) , they arent unbeatable and have never been thought of as such. While Mike was with Rooney he was being called unbeatable and they were having to take fighters out of retirement and other weight classes specifically to try and challenge him.
Mike was only thought of as "unbeatable" cause he would psych his opponents out and intimidate them, they were done before the fight would start, look at the Seldon fight, neither Wlad, Vitali, much less Joe Frazier would have been psyched out by ANY VERSION of Mike Tyson, so once the bell rang Tyson would already be facing an up hill battle
Oh here we go:rolleyes:
Yeah yeah... If they fight back... Mikes a bully...
Look how well Wlad did when he wasnt intimidated by Sanders;D
Mike fought the same whether they were scared or not. He had to fight against Rudduck and that was the far less skilled version of Mike.
I wish people would just stop acting like kids, stamping their feet and crossing their arms and denying how good Mike Tyson was.
Even the old washed up version lasted longer with Lewis than Vitali could and (apparently) Lewis wasnt as prepared as he could be whereas his whole career was based around facing Tyson;)
No one ever says if Lewis fought the prime Vitali hed lose but plenty say it about Tyson:cool:
and before any comments about Tyson losing to Lewis. Who thinks a prime Louis would lose to Marciano?
