I'd imagine I would ask him various questions apart from the PED issue...don't know what all I would ask about that? Maybe what he took, why he took it, and who is doping in the sport? But hell I already know the answers to 2 of those questions (#2 To be a better boxer and #3 Certain people are, but I can't/won't mention specific names other than those who have already been caught) and the answer to another one wouldn't help me out because I know nothing about steroids or other PEDs.

I would be much more interested in how he became a fighter, who his idols in the sport are, what he thinks of current fighters, what he thinks of some hypothetical matchups, who the best trainers are, etc.

Not to take over the thread but maybe post all the questions here and I'll send them to him? Or we can have him personally come on here and answer..whatever you'd prefer. I think he has an account here, he made one post when he first started but used to use the boxrec forum more.

The obvious question would be who are the ones he knows are taking them?
Why has he taken them?
Did it improve his performance.

That's wonderful Dia Bando..do you have any questions or not? The irony is that you are rolling your eyes at the MMA scene when boxing is just as bad..or at least close to it.

Master - Thanks. Good questions but he will not be naming any names as far as I know. He has stated already that he would get in legal trouble..Maybe if you can rephrase the question to be more generic he might answer if he's not going to get in trouble for it? I'm not sure..But to name specific people can't happen unfortunately.

One small-time heavyweight and former ABA finalist has already stepped forward though on his Facebook and admitted that he asked Larry about a particular PED. Same guy who was calling for Larry to receive a lifetime ban :rolleyes:

Why should Saddo provide a forum for it to be dragged into the gutter by questioning someone like Larry? The ask a boxer idea is a great one but to start it off by asking a banned disgraced ex-boxer is surely missing an opportunity. Just because Althugz knows him all of a sudden he assumes that he will be the one to arrange it. Saddo and dozens of posters on here are more than capable of arranging interviews with more deserving candidates who know what it is to be a boxer without trying to take the easy way to the top.

James tony, roy jones mosely and margacheato all had big time promoters and too much money is involved for lengthy bans.
Thats the way this world is and someone like larry had the book thrown at him.
Its a good idea to have a "ask a pro" thread and ask this athletes questions and im sure saddo has many connections to do this on this great forum he has made.
The thing is (as someone mentioned earlier) lets really think about the opponents who are on the side of a ped user who have family and friends that will never get another chance because they were denied because of an unfair advantage!
I hope larry fulfils his dream and can sort out his life but someone like that is not an inspiration for the right reasons for any young son or daughter hoping to get into boxing.

Lots of people don't seem to want Larry, but that makes me think it's controversial and I want to do it more! ;D

I'm sure he's not going to come across great and the "drugs are bad" message will be clear.

Larry may be friend of your's, I have no time for PED's myself in boxing I had a friend who was a pro
wrestler, and PED's fucked him up , so let's cut the bull shit they are no good for you.
Remember one thing, let's say a friend, of your's , was boxing and he killed a man in the ring,and this friend happened to be full of PED's, what out come then just brush it under the carpet.
Well we could say that's boxing, if it was my son or brother that was killed, I would want the cheating bastards liver on a plate.
