and in the example of david haye a lot of people switched off to his potential following the wlad fight and are very angry about how he performed (you seem to be one of these)
there are a lot of people who still believe haye is the best chance (in a shit crop of fighters) we have got to seeing a klit toppled , i am also of this opinion as slim as this chance is
yeah haye didnt perform in that fight, but if we analise the fight and only the fight, haye was away from home fighting a man several inches taller, a lot heavier, with many more world title fights of that magnitude under his belt in comparison, and if your honest you would agree the refereeing isnt exactly neutral, and haye still landed more punches than most, maybe next time with the extra experience he could get a little bit closer :)

I'm more of a boxing fan, than a Haye hater. I'm also hanging on to a shred of hope that the heavyweight division will somehow surprise me, and at least get off the bottom of the barrel, as it has been for the last decade and a half or so.
Haye's talented... I've never said otherwise. But he talked too much shit without even trying to back it up when he finally got in the ring with Wlad. After that he's made a lot of noise about wanting no one else but a Klitschko..... a slap in the face of all the other heavies out there who have been toiling in the trenches trying to earn a shot at a Klitschko.
If Haye drops his act and starts taking on top contenders and working his way toward a possible redemption, I'll very likely change my view of him. And since I'm dying for the heavyweight division to scrape itself off the bottom.... I'll cheer for anyone who can give a Klitschko (mostly Wlad) the competitive fight I've been so desperate to see.

If Haye pressured Wlad then Wlad would have stopped him FACT. The only reason he didn't was because #1 Wlad wanted the fight to go 12 and #2 David wouldn't engage in any kind of boxing, he either ran or feigned as though Wlad had fouled him and looked to the ref for help.
Champions don't behave like that and Haye should stay away from boxing on account of it. Did David have talent? Yeah I'll be the first to admit it, he is a very solid athlete: strong, quick, powerful.....but he's one of those guys that pisses it away he's got a million dollar body and a 10 cent brain. Go out on your shield and I'll have respect for you, but talk shit for YEARS and then provide that kind of performance?!?! As a fan of boxing I say "no thank you"....Bruce Seldon showed more backbone than Haye has at heavyweight.
Why the fuck does the same criteria not apply to Wlad? The taller, bigger super heavy weight champion guy who had promised to knock out the annoying little blown up cruiserweight spends 12 rounds not trying very hard to engage, and is given a free pass. This man who had mocked him and his big brother, upset his family and degraded boxing into a circus, (as though it wasn't already) and all he could manage was a pawing jab and a few fouls, leaning on, pushing down and using the forearm. All this and people were only let down by notoriously big mouthed Haye?
