Damn, this is getting complicated. You aren't supposed to know anything about that part of the world, now I'll have to do some research and get back to you.
Re: Eddie Chambers explains why Wladimir Klitschko is an all-time great
How the hell did this become about race yet again?
Wlad could be transparent, with black extremities, white torso, red hair, and a yellow and purple polka-dotted face. He's still not an ATG, IMO. For several reasons:
1. He hasn't faced a decent challenger in years.
2. He was KTFO'ed three times in his earlier years, knockouts that went mostly unavenged.
3. These KTFO losses came at the hands of fighters of little reknown otherwise.
4. He's not above fouling in the worst way, to save his brittle chin. Even if it means stinking up the ring with clinching and mauling tactics. For this he mostly gets a free pass from the ref.
5. He hasn't had that "epic" fight, where he has to get off the canvas or come back to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
I could give a shit what color and nationality he is.
He's as boring as drying paint.
And if he doesn't care, neither do I.

You can thank cyclone for bringing up race.
1. Ok I guess all those undefeated fighters he beat don't mean much.
2. He probably also lost a few as an amateur too, want to be a dear and go dig those up? The point is how he has recovered when his career was once on the line...and now he's 10 years unbeaten and a dominant champion. He avenged the loss to Brewster, Corrie Sanders is now sadly deceased, and Ross Purrity is retired (I think) but that fight happened when Wlad was in his early 20's. How many defeats did Mike Tyson avenge? Yeah, that's what I thought
3. Buster Douglas was well known, Oliver McCall, Hasim Rahman?
4. It's only a foul if the ref calls it
5. Get off the canvas to win....hmm I seem to recall Wlad beating Sam Peter having been knocked down 3 times....but that doesn't count because???

Preach that word...preach it..

When did Saddo turn into Eastsideboxing/Boxingscene

He'll gladly hold you to death for 12 rounds just as soon as score a KO.
He controls distance and pace in an expert manner.
He has power, but his hand speed is surprising.
His hand eye coordination is amazing.
If he can land a flush jab then he can land a flush right cross and there's not many boxers who have perfected that art like he has.
He is un-phased by trash talk, mind games, and childish actions.
He is always in top shape.
He is calm and deliberate in the ring. People like to think his use of the clinch is something he uses because he's scared or frightened....no, he knows what he's doing and he does it on purpose.
For a 6'6-6'7 240+ pound heavyweight Wladimir moves around the ring lightly when needed.
If nothing else Wladimir is an amazing athlete, some find him boring to watch, but most boxers would be helped tremendously if they studied his style, it's pragmatic and it works. Bruce Lee who is considered one of the greatest martial artists of all-time founded Jeet kun Do which is the style of no style, being as Lao Tsu said "Like water" water has no form until it has a container, it adapts, adjusts, and sometimes this causes for what some people call boring fights, but the key to fighting is WINNING not excitement...to win vs all comers and all styles is impressive...to do so for 10 years is most impressive.
just made a little change that makes your post more realistic :)

I regret making this thread.
The idea of a white boxers being "great" is very upsetting to black supremacists like cyclone and p4pking, since they deeply believe only black boxers can ever be great and all non-black boxers are inferior.
Perhaps the mods should lock this thread.

:DPerhaps they should, seeing as you're going to keep posting rubbish like that.. I didn't even mention race except to play around with Lyle after we had a communication error, but obviously you are a humourless creep and didn't quite grasp that. I respect Wlad plenty, I don't really enjoy watching him fight but he's probably the boxer I respect most as a man out of any I've ever been aware of.

YOU are the one that feels Black fighters are superior....hence your constant state of butt-hurtness.;D
It fucks with you that Vlad will NEVER be on the level of those great Black heavies.
Vlad got blasted unconscious by losers that couldn't topple Ali's spit bucket and Vitali QUIT because an Ex middleweight was WALKING HIM DOWN and ROCKING his sorry ass.
Don't give me that shit about an injury because he was throwing with both hands all night.
Even if he were hurt that was still no excuse to quit.
Ali had a broken jaw...he didn't quit.
Floyd didn't let a shoulder injury punk him out.
Kirkland tore his shoulder to shreds...yet he didn't BITCH OUT like a foreign robot.
The Klits lack toughness and heart...typical..

I've got one. Put him in solitary confinement for 48 hours, and force him to read through every thread made on the main board of this place in the past 5 days, with a vial of cyanide in close proximity. Would he make it, is he really that tough?

Is there anyone in history who could beat Wlad?
