Apparently OSullivans power is up there. Master reckons he did some power punch test thing.
Edit, sorry it wasnt master it was Tam!

Re: Eubank Jr was the most impressive this weekend
Bit of argy bargy over on Twitter. The gist being because Fat Mick won the purse bid for the Blackwell fight, Jnr can fuck off from the Matchroom deal.

Jnr is allowed to leave matchroom because fat mick won the purse?
Re: Eubank Jr was the most impressive this weekend
Blimey, that was short lived. No chance Matchroom will let him back on SKY. Madness.
Re: Eubank Jr was the most impressive this weekend
Eubank fighting on a free channel, channel 5 against a fellow british rival is not a bad move for his career.
Why would it be a better move to fight on Sky and on Pay perview than a channel everyone gets that is free?
Hearn has already been saying he can come back. Course he can, he knows Eubank is going to be huge!
Re: Eubank Jr was the most impressive this weekend
He wont be with Matchroom after fighting on another promoters bill on a different TV station. That's the whole point of why they split.
Matchroom lost the purse bid. They would have expected to pull out of the fight and go a different route. That's pretty much par for the course. Old Eubank obviously said NO we want to fight Blackwell. Matchroom have an exclusive contract with SKY. Old Barry tweeted good luck not being on SKY. He was obviously fuming. Warren said old Eubank is unbearable to work with and now Matchroom have split with them after two fights. Hilarious.
Re: Eubank Jr was the most impressive this weekend
eubank cant have signed a contract to fight for more than 2 fights with matchroom exclusively tho
if he had then he couldn't have taken the Blackwell fight unless obviously marchroom agreed with the terms of the fight
isn't that right?
so eubank must have been free to pick and choose
if after the Blackwell fight matchroom get him a fight that makes everyone lots of money im sure the fight will happen under matchrooms terms

that's how I saw it originally. But after what has been said from many sides of the fence, apparently Because Hennessy won Purse bids for the Blackwell fight, this allows Eubank to be released from his Matchroom and he has exercised that right.
What team Eubank have done is possibly sacrifice a World Title bid for a British Title fight! Matchroom had a value for the British title fight and weren't prepared to go above that. Reading between the lines , Team Eubank are probably getting a bit more from Hennessey for this fight and think they can go back and re-negotiate with Sky/Matchroom at a later date.
I don't think Matchroom feel quite the same way. They were starting to Build up the Profile on Sky and mistakenly thought all parties were in it for the long haul.
I think Eubank Sr. believes he can barter on a fight to fight basis, but he ain't Floyd yet!
he's playing a dangerous game, Warren's having none of it, Matchroom will be the same, and he's already been with and left Fat Mick before.
Re: Eubank Jr was the most impressive this weekend
They had a three fight deal with the stipulation that basically a lost purse bid counts as a fight. Matchroom have already threatened them that any future deal won't be short term. Old Eubank demanded Blackwell-Jr be on SKY PPV :D Nutter.

thing is matchroom must have consulted eubank first before deciding not to increase the bid
hearn said he wasn't prepared to go any higher
eubank wanted the fight so that's that
isn't it?
where did your hear about the sky ppv thing?
