Khan will not try to stop him this time, that was where he went wrong last time. With Virgil, it is points victory.
This is the main change.
Virgil hunter.
Khan is undefeated with virgil..he will possibly outbox garcia this time by boxing smart...garcia and angel don't really want this fight.
Well Garcia is undefeated with his Dad. They wanted the fight before, they said exactly how Khan would get beat, and they want the fight again and their gameplan will be the same and the result will be the same, IF Khan actually goes ahead with it.
Garcia does not want this fight and I would not be shocked to see him vacate than take this fight. I think Khan wins a rematch easily. He could win a shut out if he doesnt stop Garcia. Only way Garcia can win is by KO and I dont thin he'll catch Khan this time.
Re: Danny Garcia vs Amir Khan, ordered By WBC!
If khan stays away or Garcia spends the whole night persuing him, khan can squeeze out a points victory. I think Garcia lands the shot again, because khan can't resist trying to prove his some kind of beast.
Khan could have arguably better footwork under virgil than he had before but hasn't upped his IQ. In a perfect fight, Khan perfects his lateral movement, uses his reach and speed to pick at garcia and pivots out every time garcia crowds him and stiff arms him with a jab to gets the distance he needs to keep the fight going this way. Looking like ali cutting up a bum rushing slugger.
The reality for me is that khan doesn't always listen to his trainers. So you can bet even if he started out perfect, he'd abandon the plan for what he thinks he can get away with. Also his linear jousting style, depends much on accuracy and power-- and his greedy offense leaves him him in the worst possible place a chinny guy can be when his punches stop. It's like having a Ferrari that stalls in the middle of every intersection, railroad crossing, and at the end of every on ramp. He bounces on the in outside and then comes straight forward leaning into fast flurries that brings him right into Garcias wheelhouse. It works well on guys that will shell up or retreat as hes throwing punches or guys that can't take his punches....but... Khan tends to focus so much on his offense that he ignores everything else going on or possible at that moment, which is why he keeps getting caught with shots he doesn't see. Garcia can bait khan and time him with the counter hook again or pivot and loop one over the top like the shot that Donaire momentarily put Rigo on his butt with. Khan would need to work on controlling his distance and exiting safely (whether that'd footwork, jabbing his way out or just clinching and hoping the ref resets)-- just my opinion...i could be wrong.

I cannot believe how many people have jumped on the "Amir Khan is a high class quality Boxer" bandwagon, even to the extent that apparently Garcia doesn't want the fight!
Tell me, wtf has Garcia got to worry about? I've heard nonsense like:
"in the first fight , Khan was accumulating rounds" - really ? Garcia plugged him in the 2nd Round and KO'd him in the 4th . Accumulating rounds my ass!
"Khan will outbox him and Garcia will be bloodied and stopped" - When has Garcia been stopped?
"Garcia doesn't want the fight" - Why wouldn't he want the fight? he knocked the cunt out last time.
"Garcia will give up his title" - What? why would he give up his title against someone who has no proven power in this division. he's hardly likely to be scared is he? if he gave up his title, he gives up the potential to be an elite fighter in the division and earn optimum money. he's gonna do that because of Khan? come on.
"Khan will keep Garcia away for 12 rounds" - answer me this ? if Khan is such a technically gifted boxer, how come he couldn't stop Chris Algieri coming forward at him and running him down?
Not Floyd, not Manny, not an elite fighter, but a fighter who had been floored 8, yes 8 times in his 2 previous fights. Khan made him look like a World beater!
I suggest people scrutinise Khan's record very carefully before they start elevating him to God Like Status!
Re: Danny Garcia vs Amir Khan, ordered By WBC!
No one is or should make out that this is a formality for khan to win. However Khan has a better defence now and Garcia has looked beatable since he defeated Amir.
Re: Danny Garcia vs Amir Khan, ordered By WBC!
Amir Khan demanded an 80-20 purse split in his favour to fight IBF welterweight champion and domestic rival Kell Brook, says Brook's promoter Eddie Hearn.
Khan, a former light-welterweight world champion, had taken to Twitter to accuse Brook of ducking him.
Khan added that Brook's demand of a 50-50 split was unacceptable.
Hearn said Brook would be happy to take the thin end of a 60-40 split and that he would continue to negotiate with Khan's team on that basis.
Hearn added that Khan's team had demanded more than £7m to fight Brook, which would have left Brook with £2.5m at most.
Hearn later told Sky Sports News: "He [Khan] is trying to price himself out of the fight because he doesn't want it.
"It's been very positive for the last few weeks and when there is dialogue it's always good. But I was left gobsmacked by their demands.
"I appreciate Khan is probably a bigger name than Kell Brook but Kell Brook is world champion and he needs some kind of parity. More importantly, he needs some respect."
Brook also weighed in to the row tweeting: "There you have it Amir Khan, put up or shut up. No more talk, June 4 Wembley stadium for the world title. I will destroy you."
Khan had hoped to fight Manny Pacquiao this year, but when Pacquiao decided to take a deciding match against Timothy Bradley instead it looked like a fight against Brook was a near certainty.
However, Khan's latest Twitter outburst - in which he mocked Brook for fighting "bums" and ducking the best in the welterweight division - would suggest that is not the case.
Bolton's Khan, who had also hoped to fight Floyd Mayweather last year before the American legend's retirement, says he would like a rematch with Danny Garcia next.
The unbeaten Garcia, who knocked Khan out in 2012, faces fellow American Robert Guerrero in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Khan, 29, has not fought since outpointing Chris Algieri in New York last May and has not held any world titles since losing to Lamont Peterson in 2011.
Sheffield's Brook, also 29, has also not fought since last May, when he stopped fellow Briton Frankie Gavin. Brook faces a mandatory defence against unheralded Canadian Kevin Bizier in March.
Meanwhile, Khan says Pacquiao's suggestion a fight between the two men was nixed by Khan's team "are wholly inaccurate and false".
"An initial meeting took place last September between [Pacquiao's promoter] Bob Arum and my uncle and lawyer in London," said Khan.
"My team was told by Bob Arum that it was a choice between either [WBO light-welterweight champion] Terence Crawford or myself.
"[Pacquiao's] team knew a fight between us would be a very dangerous one for him and best avoided. A fight with Bradley - who Pacquiao in most opinions has beaten twice - is a much easier option."

Khan will avenge his loss, win a title, and have better bargaining for the fight with Brooks. Makes sense in every way.

Probably not as much as if he fought Brooks but the fight would be worth more to him when they fight. If that makes sense.

Dude, don't get me wrong. I am not high on Khan by a long shot and think he can sometimes be a very stupid boxer, but there is no denying that he wins most of the rounds he is in and he was beating Garcia last time out. That is just reality. It is also reality that he got stopped badly. He is very difficult to outbox because he is just so busy, but he can be caught and typically does get caught.
In saying that I think Garcia has heavy feet and he can be outboxed by people who are far less naturally talented than Khan. That is why it is a great fight. Garcia has the KO already and is smarter, whereas Khan has the output and speed. It's just a good blend of styles and the fact that both fighters are flawed makes it fun.
I want to see Bradley against Khan, but if Khan is willing to face a demon or two, then that is cool for the time being. I wish he would shut up about Floyd being scared though. Stay active and fight, you silly sausage.

theres also just as much chance of him losing and having less bargaining power
id like to see khan fight Garcia because I think he will beat him this time, but it makes more financial sense to fight brook next
Re: Danny Garcia vs Amir Khan, ordered By WBC!
Garcia's KO of Khan is probably my most watched YouTube clip, whenever I've had a shitty day or am just feeling a little down I put that on and before I know it I'm grinning like a fucking cheshire cat.
Khan has no doubt improved since he has been with Virgil but I will watch in the hope that one of those left hooks smashes into his jaw again and puts him on jelly legs like last time

Probably not as much as if he fought Brooks but the fight would be worth more to him when they fight. If that makes sense.
ok, here's the thing . last year , Khan fought Algieri and his purse was $700k (about £500k.) he had been offered £5 Million to fight Brook. so he chose a non-title fight for 10% of what Hearn offered.
fast forward to now, we know Hearn has offered 60% of a £12 Million purse, that's £7.2 million (over $10 million) Khan wants an 80-20 split.
Khan is scheduled to fight Garcia for a title. bearing in mind what he got in his last fight, and that he is the challenger, and add quite a bit because it's for a title, and it's conceivable (albeit generous)to think that Khan's share of the purse will double to $1.4 million (about £1 million). That's about 14% of what Hearn is offering!
so it's looking like twice Khan is turning down Brook to take relative peanuts instead. so, if this is some sort of business decision to get him more money, I ask , would any of you make that decision?
Last year , Khan could've beat Brook, then if there was a rematch , could've commanded double the money as the champ , and won that . He would be £15 million better off , be a World champion and probably be the "A-side" in any fight negotiations with anyone in the division.
so now tell me that his decision makes sense in any way, shape or form?
to be honest, I don't even want Brook to fight Khan, I would let him rot. What Brook should do is try to make the fight with Garcia in the UK or the States. if he wins that, not only is he the main player in the division, but who would Khan fight.
I seriously think if that happened, Khan would retire, bellyaching that Floyd , Manny , Garcia & Brook had all avoided him .
Khan is so deluded that I seriously question his mental state if I'm honest.
