nah, this discussion is going nowhere.
as to your accusations, let me remind you of one accusation( among the many accusations) you made.
What you say has not merit as to what happens in the ring. In two weeks I will not be foolish waiting 4 years for a man to age is great strategy on PAC teams behalf. JMM is really good but many PAC fans have already mention how slow and flt footed JMM has looked recently. So Kudos to the Geriatric Assassin. So in essence any expressed opinion or aggressive form of english that does sit well with you is an accusation....... what a joke I was unaware I was wasting my time in an Accusation Forum. I was under the belief opinions were welcomed here. I need not offer you cc's but a pacifiier & bib.
Take a poll : see if my comments are opinions or accusations ....... ???

I admire your blog bro. It's very well written.
IMO, the real heroes in the Philippines are the teachers. Not their kotong cops, or firefighters that can't even response on time.
Now about the ZTE thing. Arroyo's are corrupt and that's a given thing, everybody knows that already. But my real concern is about the political killings since that administration took over. Where are those people (protesters/mediamen) that have gone missing for a long time now?
You know what I think?... I think they were gonna murder Jun Lozada too when they picked him up from the airport.
Wow! this thread has totally derailed because of BruceLee's avatar.;D

I thought you were the FG, sayang. There goes my dream to be an instant millionaire.
Seriously, I've observed one of the main weakness of our society is the educational 'culture.' Professors should try guide their students to think, but here, they try to mold the students into their clones. They use subtle and not so subtle ways to force their students to toe their line. Just look how students march in the streets in unison, shouting the same slogans, often calling some people puppets without knowing they themselves are acting like one. In many colleges, you have to be anti-American (don't get me wrong, I have absolutely no American blood) or a leftist, or you would be treated as an outcast, and worst, sometimes be called bobo. That's why pinoy students tend to think in the same way. That's very unfortunate because students should be taught to think in the right way, not in the same way, because when students are taught to think in a independent way, then it opens the floodgate of varied opinions, some which can help solve many of our countries problems. Have you seen a rightist student here (except of course the PMA cadets)? No right? In Japan, there are leftist students, the rightist students, centrists, etc., in the same school, and sometimes they get into heated debates. I think it's about time the pinoy students to be loosened from the shackles of leftist and psuedo-nationalist professors, who're just trying to re-live their glory days of the 70's - the activists era - in their students.

Very true. I was brought up in college to be an activist. For four years ( in college) I have been in the streets shouting "Makibaka!", only to find out that we were only being used by the leftist. The reason why I quit from street parliamentary.Anyway, as a student council member in UP we were expected to join rallies. That's why I almost resigned from post as an officer.
For the last 7 years, I avoided joining rallies in the streets coz I believe nothing will happen from it. However, this time, I have decided not to be silent anymore.

Pac's aggressiveness captured the hearts of the judges that night. Both fighters were pretty much giving-n-taking each others punches after the first round. Pac initiate and connects, but JMM counter and also connects.

Let Gloria resign and be replaced by one of the Erap boys, hmmm tough choice... I'll probably still go hungry either way so I'll stick with pac, with all his political baggages or maybe basuras. But if you can convince me I'll have some decent meal on my table once the faces in govt. changes, I might just go for that.;D
Seriously, I'm glad that not all UP students are gullible. I know many scholar level students are not that stupid to believe everything their profs say and I think many are just riding on their professors' whims, pretending to be good boys and gals, and after they graduate they emigrate to the country of their hate, the U S of A. Not that I blame any of them 'cause it's very difficult to shake off anything once it has caught someone's heart - as they say, love is blind - be it a person, ideology or religion. My only lament is that they are wasting the minds of our youth, who are always refered as 'pagasa ng bayan,' who instead of freely expressing themselves and bringing in variety of new ideas, are mired deeply in the outmoded ideology of their profs, unable to move, to progress (I've always wondered why some of them call themselves 'progressives' while they are actually regressing). Sayan talaga.

10-6 RULING is an option not a GIVEN. So it is not a mistake but the choice of the judge.

I also predicted correctly. I somehow knew that Vasquez will win by SD. That's why,I predicted that he will win by points. That's the reason am at the top 5(?) of week seven's boxing predictions.

Re: Just rewatched Pacquaio-JMM 1
I wonder if Marquez' brother losing last week is a bad omen or if it will act as extra motivation for Marquez . If you compare the brothers careers, they are very similar in terms of when they had their big fights , best wins etc .
Rafas the better puncher of the two and Juan the better boxer IMO . He'll need to get back to his sweet boxing to beat Pac but Pacs gonn aget back his his assertive best if he wanst to shake up Marquez cuz I dont think he can do it with boxing skill
Word is he s is taking this one serious and hes looking good in the gym . I think he looked poor vs Barrera but Marquez looked vunerable vs Barrera also . Pac at his best looks better than Marquez at his best but my prediction is Marquez on points .

I love that this all but erases any excuses any less knowledgeable boxing fans may resort to. I honestly do not expect any big surprise and expect Pac to win. However, I do not rule out a JMM victory. He is not the doormat/ stepping stone many Pac fans seem to think JMM is. To even be thinking or writing hypothetical Diaz, Hatton forum postings is absurd when Pac has a tough at task come 2 weeks. Where are the postings on what happens to Pacs' Career and boxing plans with a decision or KO loss ? Especially if JMM does what he claims to do if he wins and make Pac accept the lower purse. Which means another possible 4 years or no 3rd fight. If there is no 3rd JMM fight, no one cares about a David Diaz title win. There will be no money as there is today with a win over JMM. So the only viable option is either a Guzman or Juan Diaz fight. A Guzman win will not catapult him to a higher status than he has today and a Diaz loss after a JMM will all but deflate ( not erase) his legacy. Jumping Straight to Hatton is his best bet because he'll have less to lose and more money to win. Hatton has more to do with their future than Pac. Right now Hatton seems extremely vulnerable (weak minded) and a prime candidate for a brutal beating. Why not let everything work itself out as it will in the JMM outcome and Hattons next quality opponent.

Re: Just rewatched Pacquaio-JMM 1
I just read a quote from Marquez on how he took Pac easy in the 1st fight . I aint buying it though . . .
"And he was so confident, he was so relaxed in the first half of the first round. ... And I was thinking to myself, 'This is not the way he's supposed to be fighting,' because he seemed so relaxed. And knowing Manny Pacquiao, that he is like a wild guy because he throws punches from everywhere, I knew that at a certain time, a certain point in the fight, he was
(going to connect) with Juan Manuel Marquez. And he did it."
Hes just trying to explain why he was caught cold but the truth is he was caught napping and couldnt deal with Pacs speed early . If he is alert from the start this time then it will be like the 1st fight without a 10-6 round so he'll take it on points . He cant be "over confident " this time though

Marquez's main goal is to stay alert at all times, and no more eating Pac's left hands.

Totally agree. Marquez should be alert of not eating Pac's straight lefts like he did on round one. Pac should be alert of not eating Marquez left and right hands for 11 straight rounds like on their last fight.
It's gonna be an action-packed fight (I hope) , anything can happen.

Yes, if not for the ref scoring the first round wrong. Jmm will need to pull off another best performance of his life just to survive again let alone win. Worst of all, for jmm his facing an even better pacman. Not only did but he piss pacman off by saying pac is not a mexican killer. Ok pac doesn't like to be dubbed that and the race thing is stupid but its not what jmm said its how jmm was saying things that got under pacs skin. Now pac is in the gym focus and in murderous mode. For a long long time no reports of pac bein unfocus and all the bs that comes before his fights. Jmm not only had it bad before, now he made it even worst by pissing pac off. No doubt jmm won't survive this time. The great counter puncher JMM wll get countered by a right hook and down and out he'll be.
so are you saying JMM didn't get any better.
i'm gonna say this to give you Pac fans something to think about. PAC knock JMM down 3 times in the 1st round and JMM comes back to make it an extreemly close fight. fight many including myself felt he won. what makes you so sure that he can finish him? he couldn't do it then. i'm gonna re watch the fight with in the next week so i can tell you exactly how JMM will win.
this fight should have happen at least 3 years ago.

It should've, but it didn't.
Pac wasn't even in his prime yet when he floored prime JMM 3x.
Now, PRIME PAC vs 3 YEARS PAST HIS PRIME JMM?... go figure.
