My grandmother (my mom's mom) is one of Fidel V. Ramos' first cousin. I was born and raised where Ramos grew up. He is a Westpoint grad, a snitch, but a good snitch though.

Well that proves Ramos administration wasn't that corrupt coz they're already gone broke (lol!). Unlike the Marcos, Aquino, Estrada, and Arroyo... God I wish they burn in hell along with the pachaters (just kiddin').

Had I been the man in my avatar, I would certainly not be here. I would be in some casinos spending my billions of pesos(hundred million dollars+++).

PACFAN AND PACSTRAIGHT, did you read my blogs already? I wrote those 2 years ago...... just as I predicted..... GMA is definitely not the lesser evil.

I am a CPA by profession and I know(and have witnessed) corruption in government. That's why I resigned as an accountant in one of the government agencies here in the Philippines.

During my time, politicians were contented already with 10% commission. Now they really go as high as 40%-50%. The regular kickbacks(commissions) is around 20%. Payments to these politicians are usually made in advance. whew!!!!! so that $130 million dollar kickback of Abalos was really just regular.I wonder, how much money did these people have corrupted in our government.

And to think we are the ones paying for the interest of this money that they have loaned. Kaya baon sa utang ang Pilipinas.

nah, this discussion is going nowhere.

as to your accusations, let me remind you of one accusation( among the many accusations) you made.

What you say has not merit as to what happens in the ring. In two weeks I will not be foolish waiting 4 years for a man to age is great strategy on PAC teams behalf. JMM is really good but many PAC fans have already mention how slow and flt footed JMM has looked recently. So Kudos to the Geriatric Assassin. Bring on Soto, Juan Diaz and Guman and lower the age requirements. Pac should win this fight, I just anxious to see if JMM can muster up one last effort. More interested in A Pac vs Baby Bull match or a sibling revenge fight with Soto. Not a circus match against a UK midget with little over rated skills.
So in essence any expressed opinion or aggressive form of english that does sit well with you is an accusation....... what a joke I was unaware I was wasting my time in an Accusation Forum. I was under the belief opinions were welcomed here. I need not offer you cc's but a pacifiier & bib.

Take a poll : see if my comments are opinions or accusations .......

I admire your blog bro. It's very well written.

IMO, the real heroes in the Philippines are the teachers. Not their kotong cops, or firefighters that can't even response on time.

Now about the ZTE thing. Arroyo's are corrupt and that's a given thing, everybody knows that already. But my real concern is about the political killings since that administration took over. Where are those people (protesters/mediamen) that have gone missing for a long time now?

You know what I think?... I think they were gonna murder Jun Lozada too when they picked him up from the airport.

Wow! this thread has totally derailed because of BruceLee's avatar.

So you and pacstraight... are cousins? Wow. I wish I had some big names to drop, but unfortunately, all I find in my lineage are fishermen and farmers. Pretty much the same type of people I meet here in this fishing/farming village, usually who ask for some help. I'm not a rich guy but I usually never turn them back as long as they're not trying to gyp me. Sometimes, they leave me broke. I wish I were a politician, but then I can't be 'cause I don't know how to fool people. In the meantime, maybe we can have some blood transfusions so I can get some of Ramos' blood in my system.

I thought you were the FG, sayang. There goes my dream to be an instant millionaire.

Seriously, I've observed one of the main weakness of our society is the educational 'culture.' Professors should try guide their students to think, but here, they try to mold the students into their clones. They use subtle and not so subtle ways to force their students to toe their line. Just look how students march in the streets in unison, shouting the same slogans, often calling some people puppets without knowing they themselves are acting like one. In many colleges, you have to be anti-American (don't get me wrong, I have absolutely no American blood) or a leftist, or you would be treated as an outcast, and worst, sometimes be called bobo. That's why pinoy students tend to think in the same way. That's very unfortunate because students should be taught to think in the right way, not in the same way, because when students are taught to think in a independent way, then it opens the floodgate of varied opinions, some which can help solve many of our countries problems. Have you seen a rightist student here (except of course the PMA cadets)? No right? In Japan, there are leftist students, the rightist students, centrists, etc., in the same school, and sometimes they get into heated debates. I think it's about time the pinoy students to be loosened from the shackles of leftist and psuedo-nationalist professors, who're just trying to re-live their glory days of the 70's - the activists era - in their students.

Very true. I was brought up in college to be an activist. For four years ( in college) I have been in the streets shouting "Makibaka!", only to find out that we were only being used by the leftist. The reason why I quit from street parliamentary.Anyway, as a student council member in UP we were expected to join rallies. That's why I almost resigned from post as an officer.

For the last 7 years, I avoided joining rallies in the streets coz I believe nothing will happen from it. However, this time, I have decided not to be silent anymore.

    Gloria should resign!!!

If it means Pacquaio losing to Marquez if Gloria resigns, then be it.You're being superstitious pacfan is really contagious.

I think the judging was pretty terrible i still can't understand how two judges had it 115-110 either way, i personally had Marquez winning by 1 point.

Pac's aggressiveness captured the hearts of the judges that night. Both fighters were pretty much giving-n-taking each others punches after the first round. Pac initiate and connects, but JMM counter and also connects.

Let Gloria resign and be replaced by one of the Erap boys, hmmm tough choice... I'll probably still go hungry either way so I'll stick with pac, with all his political baggages or maybe basuras. But if you can convince me I'll have some decent meal on my table once the faces in govt. changes, I might just go for that.

Seriously, I'm glad that not all UP students are gullible. I know many scholar level students are not that stupid to believe everything their profs say and I think many are just riding on their professors' whims, pretending to be good boys and gals, and after they graduate they emigrate to the country of their hate, the U S of A. Not that I blame any of them 'cause it's very difficult to shake off anything once it has caught someone's heart - as they say, love is blind - be it a person, ideology or religion. My only lament is that they are wasting the minds of our youth, who are always refered as 'pagasa ng bayan,' who instead of freely expressing themselves and bringing in variety of new ideas, are mired deeply in the outmoded ideology of their profs, unable to move, to progress (I've always wondered why some of them call themselves 'progressives' while they are actually regressing). Sayan talaga.

10-6 RULING is an option not a GIVEN. So it is not a mistake but the choice of the judge.
