Four Christmases.
Dwight Yokam is the fucking man! He plays Pastor Phil! What a great crossover actor.
Watched airheads last night on sky, funny film, one of Adam sandlers early roles
Seen Death At A Funeral on Wednesday night. It was hilarious. "Everything is so fucking green.." ;D
watched kiss the girls again, i like this movie, ashley judd is gorgeous!
Watched Erin Brockavitch on TV1 last night.
Great true film.
* Watching Julia Roberts waltzing around in a miniskirt with her tits hitched up for the whole movie is a real bonus too, she is georgeous.
role models last night, funny as hell with the battle reinactments
yeah she was hot hot hot in that film. plus its a great movie 4 sure
Attachment 1526 looks like a hooker! get in!
I saw The New World the other day (I'm in an American history on film class at the moment). The cinematography was amazing, but the highly fictionalized storyline was very slow and the film lost my in the middle part. Anyone else seen it? It seems like a very polarizing film, people either love it or hate it. I was in the middle though, didn't really like it, but didn't hate it.
89 pages and I didn't even know about this thread!
I watched three films over the weekend just gone.
A New Daughter, pretty shitty horror with Kevin Costner, was watchable at least
Soloman Kane, again a pretty shitty but watchable action romp.
Book of Eli, good film, really enjoyed it, pick of the three by far. Denzel still has it.
Iron man 2
glad u found the thread bro, i wanna see book of eli, but can t find a good copy to download, the sounds always crap:(
watched kick ass now that was a good film! crazy as hell, little disturbing watchin a 11 yr old getting punched by a bloke plus shot plus her using the c word but apart from that i loved it;D;D;D
also watched edge of darkness, not bad but as a revenge movie i prefered law abiding citizen

Amores perros (2000)
It's good but long, and loses momentum somewhere in the middle.
I just watched Open Range, which was a decent movie until about 3/4ths of the way threw. It had a shit ending and a terrible, forced love story.
Also saw Tombstone (great film, Val Kilmer is awesome in it) and Flags of Our Fathers (which I thought was an outstanding film and not your typical, jingoistic bullshit WW2 movie).
Saw The Changeling today. Excellent, if a sometimes disturbing movie.

Classic film-making. The contrast between the beginning and the end of the film is amazing, and the pace in which it builds up suspense is brilliant. The last 20 minutes are a bit of a headfuck mind.
I watched The Hangover for the first time yesterday and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The naked Chinese man really scared the shit out of me though, I saw all this pubic hair and was thinking why doesn't he have a willy? I'd watch the film again, but that scene was warped. Well, now I think about it a lot of the scenes were pretty warped but they didn't make me think "Bloody hell, what on earth is this?" in quite the same way.
Good flick all in all.
never heard of it but looks freaky just from the picture ha ha
watched mike bassett england manager on tv the other night, man i love that film;D its a fictional documentry abt a manager begining his international managerial career, bloody brilliant film well funny.

I watched Up this morning and I thought it was fantastic. Touching, funny and really quite odd. Thoroughly recommended.
Recommend "She's out of my league" I thought it was really funny and well written.
Not your typical dorky guy hot girl scenes and lines. It was different.
I'm on my way to the movies to watch "Get him to the Greek".
Don't go to the movies too often but I'm gonna gamble here as I think this will be an instan classic.
We'll see...

Brilliant. A documentary really about a young lad called Sandro. He saw his mother killed in front of him when he was 6 and he had no other family really to fall back on. He joined a group of street kids who were all from similar backgrounds. He began busking on the streets and then turned to mugging to pay for food, clothes and drugs. When he was a teenager he saw 8 of his friends murdered by the Police and all this culminates in him taking a bus full of people hostage years later. It's not a film with actors or anything. It's a real life documentary. It's a Brazilian film so all the xenophobes might not like it ;D but i honestly can't recommend it enough. I know Jaz has seen it and i believe he feels the same about it.
Just watch it.
So I saw Get him to the greek last night...
Fucken funny as fuck.. Oh shit did I laugh.
Rusell Brand is funny and both he and Jonah Hill are a good match.
Diddy was actually pretty funny I gotta admit.
It's def. worth the watch and strongly recommend it.
For those who smoke, this is def. one to be high to just like Role Models, Superbad etc. etc.
I have been watching the mini series on HBO called The Pacific have to say it'ss really really good. Tom Hanks and Speilberg teamed up to make it they did a helluva job. I never did see band of brother which i heard it is kinda similiar. I just put that on my Netflix cant wait to start watching it.
Also just watched the Messenger with Woody Harison and Ben Foster really good flick as well.
decent new films a bit sparse at moment for me

I watched the Hitchcock classic, North by Northwest.....GREAT flick!
Cary Grant was an awesome actor and Eve Saint Marie....WOW they don't make chicks like her anymore, the actress that most closely resembles her these days is I guess Naomi Watts
