Re: For Diane, evidence of my Sam is a dog/werewolf theory
Yeah I'm going to stay up and watch all 4 now.
I have to get to the bottom of the Sam mystery.
It seems to me that with his foppy hair, straggly beard and lumberjack style jackets he even looks a little like the dog when he's in human form.
They are blatently trying to tease us with a connection.
I still don't know who the girl was who helped Suki fight off that nutter couple though, the one who wrapped the chain around that guys neck :thinking2:
Re: For Diane, evidence of my Sam is a dog/werewolf theory
I agree with Bilbo like in the second episode or so I called my bud and was like that sam guys a dog or werewolf or something. Did ya'll see in the fourth episode he goes to that house and starts sniffing the sheets, I mean if he isn't a werewolf he's a messed up individual. Love the show

Well we've got our eyes on him now
I'mn hoping he's a guardian angel of Suki rather than turns out to be evil though
Re: Is anyone watching True Blood on HBO?
Ok I've watched the 4th episode now, definitely a weird ending. So are we supposed to think Sam is the killer of these two women?
He had a photo of him and the sexy bargirl together in the bar so clearly some kind of prior relationship indicated.
I don't think he's evil though, as he wouldn't want Suki to read his thoughts.
Maybe this was the dog part of him wanting to revel in her scent?
Maybe I'm stretching things here but maybe she was his owner when he's in dog form and he felt a loyalty and bond to her? Although if that was the case I don't know why he'd devote no attention to her in the bar instead focusing only on Suki
But he's clearly the most interesting character and I'm fairly sure isn't human.............
Re: Is anyone watching True Blood on HBO?
Bilbo, I'm disappointed, I was fully anticipating you talking about Jason's erection problem, and how you've always had a fantasy about having that happen to you. ;) ;D
Re: Is anyone watching True Blood on HBO?
I'm almost positive that I saw Sam and the dog on his porch together. I think it was the morning after he slept with Tara.
I do think that he is a were-something, but I do not think he killed Dawn. Actually, I was thinking that he was trying to sniff out the killer.
I REALLY hate Sookie's brother.

Yes, he was with a dog, but I have to go back and see if it was the dog. :dontknow:
I don't know if Sam was trying to sniff out the killer in Dawn's sheets, he seemed to be getting off by it. Unless, that's the shows way of covering up what he was doing.
Why do you hate Jason, because he gets to have sex with all these girls? Or because he's a dick? Tell me you weren't laughing you ass off then with his dick became like an eggplant? ;D I was!

Hey Bilbo, as a sidenote, if you like vampire type stuff read Brian Lumley's Wamphyri series. Lumley was an English author and imo has written the premiere books on the blood suckers.
R.I.P. Lumley
I'm not really into horror novels. Werewolves are my fave horror characters although 90% of werewolf movies are awful.
Still American Werewolf in London is possibly the greatest horror of all time, and I loved Dog Soldiers. The Ginger Snaps films wern't bad either.
I'll grab the first episode of this sounds interesting, although generally I'm not keen on vampire movies. I couldn't stand Buffy and Angel, I had to turn off 30 Days of Night half way through as I felt like slitting my own throat and the dracula films never did anything for me at all either.
But if people think it's good it might well be so I'll grab the first episode and see what it's like.
I need a good series to keep me entertained until Lost comes back.
I actually loved 30 days of Night; though I thought the way they made the vampires appear was rather silly. The way they communicated and those shark eyes was well done, but the goofy tattoos on them and not very frightening countenance of them actually made the movie less than stellar.
I don't watch vampire movies and certainly never even attempted to watch Buffy:rolleyes: But the series by Lumley is awesome, imo anyways.
And if I want to see werewolves I'll watch Valuev's family reunion on youtube.
Wait a minute- when did Brian Lumley die? I read the entire first Necroscope series, including the two "Lost" Harry Keough books. I even tried the second series with the new necroscope but it just didn't catch for me. There was just something missing. Lumley was very imaginative, but I can't help but say that his dialog was horrible. When I was younger I just chalked it up to how British people spoke. But then in one of the "Lost" books he had a black American soldier speak. My guess is that he thought black Americans must be from the moon or something. It was absolutely atrocious.
And Bilbo, with Lumley's vampires, sometimes they are werewolves too. It's difficult to explain.
Re: Is anyone watching True Blood on HBO?
I've not heard of this yet. Is it good and what series is it up too

Yeah he was with the dog in the third episode, he throws him a ball and it bounds off after it.
But even this scene is interesting as when the dog appears to Sam who is sitting on his porch, Sam greets the dog by saying 'Hello brother', which is a rather unusual greeting imo. There is something going on, maybe he's not that particular dog, but he is a werewolf or shapeshifter I think.........
And whilst we're on this subject Suki's gran DEFINITELY has something hidden in her past. I reckon she fucked a vampire in her youth. I know she said her husband had the telepathic gift, what was he? There is something going on in that family.
Also why have both the women who slept with Jason died straight after? If its not him, is someone trying to set him up?

I hate/dislike Jason because he is someone I would hate/dislike in the real world. Always in the middle of drama and smart as a box of rocks.
And like Bilbo said, there is something awry with his being with two different woman before they were killed by some unknown. There could be a Jekyll & Hyde thing going on.
By the way, Bilbo. Sookie Stackhouse IS NOT Asian. Stop spelling her name Suki. ;D
Re: Is anyone watching True Blood on HBO?
By the way, there are only 10 Episodes so after next week we are half way through the season. :(

This is a bit gutting, I was hoping for the usual 20 episodes or something
I hope it gets a few series though it is shaping up to be a great series.
By the way has anyone here ever watched Carnivale? I know that got a load of praise a few years back and was another strange supernatural type show although I've never seen it myself. Is it worth hunting down?
Re: Is anyone watching True Blood on HBO?
About the rolling on the bed scence...
Dogs like smells. My dog Mister will roll in a pile of my dirty clothes. So if Sam was good friends with Dawn he may have went there to remember her.
