Haye beating Peter , is another bold statement , you have to remember Peter couldnt get close to Vitali , Peter would be able to hit Haye and again we do not know how he will react.
Im a fan of David Haye but he needs to develope as a HW , less talk more action.
He hits harder than a 38 year old faded, out of shape, heaviest ever in his career Lewis. He also punches quicker than that version.
People give Vitali too much credit for getting cut the fuck up by an old outta shape man.
Biggest fight of Vitalis career and he lost fair and square - he hit Lennox with the kitchen sink and could stop him.

Your 2 Slapper boys will get KNFO by Haye.
Just watch the demoliion Haye will do in November against Barrett.
Gotta agree I think Haye will do a much better job on Barrett than Wlad did. I don't see it going further than 4!
That fight was eight years ago Monte Barrett is 37 now if Boy Wonder(DH) can't take him out then that will prove DH ain't shit in Glass Joe's backyard.
Re: Haye would have beaten Peter and Vitali
Little early for me on declaring Haye walks through anyone of stature at Heavyweight. His natural speed of hand & foot will give anyone problems along with solid right hand but he is entering an entirly different leauge with Vitali and Wlad and has not faced anyone with that size and championship experience. When he gets hit on the chin a few and comes back strong .....We will have some answers.I'm glad he is getting it going though, his big mouth and power add much needed excitment to the division.

Like others I'm left wondering if klitschko was that good or Peter was that bad.
Peter was dreadfully slow while Klitschko used his height effectively.
Peter hasn't looked good for a few fights now - he didn't impress against McCline or Toney. He looked like a fighter who just turned up without any real ambition or desire.
Maybe you didn't see the second fight against Toney where Peter used effective defense and managed to knock Toney down. And you should be considering why McCline suddenly became an all-out aggressive fighter when he was only that briefly at the beginning of his career.

Klitschko's hands were low because he had no reason to keep them up.

You'd have a point if either guy fought as Cruiserweights.

Klitschko has just had a fight after a 4 year lay-off. Let's say we reserve judgment until after he's had at least one more fight.

Peter is rapidly approaching my garbage pile. That being said, I have no confidence that Haye could beat him. He has a head like a rock and if you give up your height to Peter he will eat you alive. Haye has a wider stance than Senator Larry Craig in a men's room.

The difference between Vitaly and Wlad is Vitaly has little patience, A rock solid chin, Heavy hands and likes to punish opponents he has a dislike for...EG Corrie Sanders, Danny Williams....He will fight till he drops EG was protesting the Lewis stoppage when he was about to lose his eye......
Haye does not hit anywhere near as hard as Lennox...anyone who states otherwise is just being a fool.......He is not exactly the iron man in the chin department either........People can claim speed will be the difference but Vitaly will make him fight he won't box him...Vitaly cuts half the damn ring off without effort.....
Haye should watch his mouth...The elder Klitschko is more then willing to fight his brothers battles....
Haye keeps spouting off at the lip he will get his HW title shot......
The "Hayemaker" will be the "Hayesbeen" inside of 4....I would bet real money on that

Toney is not exactly the most mobile of Heavyweights but ok a decent performance by Sam. As for McCline not to sure of your point but McCline looked good because Peters head wasn't in the fight just like Saturday. At the time it is well documented and I have posted the article regarding Sams out of the ring problems in his native Nigeria - the allegations of him beating his pregnant wife and her then attempting to kill him with the help of her relatives but I'm sure that is what you are pointing to?
I agree that one fight is too early too judge though it is still plausible too have an opinion after one fight but as I have alluded too it is hard to gage just how good the comebacking Vitali is especially as Peter was for want of a better word...shit.
I stick by my opinions of Hayes ability and that he will beat every Heavyweight out there. That is my personal believe based on his skills and ability though only time will see if I am right or wrong and not knowing is why we all tune in.

Calm down Rob , i respect your view , and i agree Lennox was past his best when Vitali fought him , but without evidence i fail to see how we can judge Haye's power as he hasnt fought any top HW fighters yet.
I d like Hayes to be a champion at HW , but i wont jump on the bandwaggon until i see some evidence that David can punch at top level , or if he can take a HW shot.
One thing for sure he will be exciting .Do you agree with my assessment ?

Lefty, this is just plain out silly. Rule no. 1) Don't use alphabet rankings as an argument for anything. Rule no. 2) Especially not when using rankings actually count against the argument, you are trying to make.
[Thompson was WBO number 1 (and mandatory) when Wlad fought him. Ray Austin was IBF number 1 (and mandatory). Dunno about McCline, but he was probably rated highly at some point too.]
Are we gonna see John Ruiz-apologists next? "WBA number 6. Not a bum."
Re: Haye would have beaten Peter and Vitali
People are forgetting that Lennox was old but that does not mean he can not have power that is the last thing to go just as Forman. As for Haye does no one rember he could not get past a old 40 year old cruiserweight no one ever brings that up Vitali while crush him just another british hype job and i can not wait for Vitali to end it going to be funney thing to see.
Re: Haye would have beaten Peter and Vitali
i know one thing- i didn't see any footwork whatsoever in the Klitschko v Peter fight. none. of course, Vitali didn't need any to win, but give Peter some footwork and a fucking shred of defense and he'd actually be a boxer.
Haye's footwork would/should easily put him past Peter... but in a match with either of the Brothers K, i'm not sure he could penetrate the height advantage/defense they both use. maybe he could work the body and open them up, but, the question is, could he take the abuse of working inside with those guys?
dunno, that's why they fight 'em.
Re: Haye would have beaten Peter and Vitali
Wladimir will take David Haye on but young David must get in line. Wladimir is fighting Alexander Povetkin next, David Haye is fighting Monte Barrett....I think if Haye wants to have a long career he needs to stay away from Wlad and Vitali as long as possible.
Re: Haye would have beaten Peter and Vitali
wow....what is up with all this hype about Haye? He will be the next Khan if he fights any of the Klits or Fatass Peter.
