Anybody here ever been to JAIL before?

Your temprement on the forum never strikes me as being prone to sudden outbursts or anything.

I hit a couple of people in high school - although it was long before i did any sort of training so they were panzy shots that i'm a bit embarassed about now!

Ironically i did it right on front of a teacher once and didn't get in trouble at all because basically she was a bitch - but she never picked on me again. :)

The cliques that can form in high schools can easily just get out of control and i think whether or not you get punished for something like that should take into account how far you're pushed by the people who end up recieving it.

I did get plenty of detentions for boring stuff like not having my diary signed though. :rolleyes:

Sharla,youd be amazed at how fast you can get in school suspension here in the states,it seems like I spent all of junior and senior high school there.
Ok,one time I did earn it, but it was funny why it happened.
I had a geography teacher that would have put a zombie to sleep. I mean he took a subject I was understanding easily, and made me not care. This was back when kids still collected baseball cards for no other reason but to have them(long back story,aint it?).
I got bored in class and started sneaking peaks at my cards trying to figure out who Id trade at lunch.
He took the stack of them when he caught me. Now if he'd just have given them back at the end of class, no problem,Id honestly have said he was right in hindsight. But he said I wasnt ever getting them back.
Thats when I called him an f-ing thief in the hall,right when classes where changing.
Even while the vice principle was suspending me he couldnt stop from laughing.
"Paul,Paul Paul,you cant tell a teacher to go f themselves"
"I didnt say that sir"
"Well what did you say?"
"I called him an F-ing thief"
........................
pause,under the breathe chuckle that he thought I didnt see
"Okay...regardless....................."
Meh,it was worth it in hindsight

I've never heard of anyone getting suspended just for swearing here that's for sure. I think here it's one step before being completely expelled though - detentions are for everything else I guess.

It may vary a bit depending on where you go - in the remote country area school I went to as a kid there were some boys who'd get the beach ball bat over their arse if they were ever sent to the principle.

I think the threat of that kept most of us well behaved but I doubt it would happen anywhere in Australia now.

I decided not to turn the other cheek Sharla. I don't regret it. It has made what could have been a long process of intimidation, turn into a rough month which is already behind me. I don't advocate violence, and in fact do a lot of helping stop it amongst and through my friends. If anything I'm very anti-violence. By sometimes you just need to stand your ground. This was one of those times I believe, and no one bothers me any more. I hope for it to stay that way.

Yes ive been im not proud but i got 3 month for Drink driving while disqualified in 2001.

believe me dude nobody should be proud that they went to jail, and if they are then there stupid.

spent a night in the nic for drink and driving....and just m issed the cut off point for a free take away....rule is if u r nicked b4 eleven they get u a take away of your choice

Actually it depends on if they like you, and theyre calling in their order. And yeah the cops that rousted you, can actually like you, half the time they take you in, theyre just trying to make the point that they can, whenever they feel like it. So if they were calling in their order anyway, they'll toss one on for you.
If they dont like you its a cheese and mayo sandwich on white bread, eventually. When someone reminds them,.............maybe..........if your lucky.

Ha ha Spicoli, I'd shit myself getting arrested on acid. ;D

I got in a taxi once on acid and when I heard him telling someone on his radio that he just picked me up I panicked and thought he was an undercover copper. In my twisted mind I did a runner at a set of traffic lights and spent the next 3 hours hiding in a bush thinking every car that went past was him.

Me and acid don't mix!! I'm too paranoid...;D

As for getting arrested, a hand fuill of times when I was a teenager. The usual idiotic stuff; underage drinking, urinating in public, breaking phone box windows etc. Never spent more than a night...

A freind of mine did 6 years though, I visited him every other month or so. Not a nice place, hardly San Quentin but a prison is a prison afterall...

I learned my lesson when they actually kept me indefinitely for "Well look at how he's dressed, he must be one of them"
That is a long way to spend even a few weeks of your life, if your in the right hole its not that bad,just make the point early,if you so much as approach my bed after lights out,that isnt the only bulb thats getting turned off tonight. But I still wouldnt recommend it as a way to pass your time.

I got a good grilling at me local police station for being caught in a shed!!Me and me mate where caught from the owner of the shed,after me and me mate were trying to find our football after me mate decided to kick it through the shed window.The owner notified the police and the coppers grilled me for hours.Their thought i was a theif or something:o,i told them the truth but their would'nt believe me.I only got a caution,mind you i was only about 15year old at the time.
