Suprised nobody has mentioned Tarver KOing Jones with his eyes closed and looking at the floor.
What makes it even worse is that he's getting hit at the same time he lands it... He set that one up alright... ;)

Who knows Tarver could have been working on that I know Marciano would throw a lot of punches with his eyes down to get his opponent to drop his hands.
Of course I'm bullshitting here.
Lennox Lewis Vs. Frank Bruno
Bruno took the initiative early really controlling the fight with the jab. It looked great for the older Brit, until it seemed that Lewis got pissed or was starting to feel humiliated especially after some pitter patter uppercuts by Bruno that would have made Joe Calzaghe blush. After that a left hook from Lewis in round 6 turned and spelled doom for Bruno.

Not really lucky because Frank Bruno always mostly faded down the stretch, he was ahead in his fights against James Smith, Tim Witherspoon, until he got caught and was stopped.
Frank Bruno didn't have a bad chin its just his survival instincts were poor. He didn't have a clue what do when he was hurt, he would just stand straight up taking brutal punches against the ropes.
His stamina was also poor in some fights but i don't think that was really one of his flaws. Because his stamina was fine after going 11 hard rounds with Tim Witherspoon, its just his poor survival instincts that let him down once again.
He was also far too robotic and stood up right too much, he also lacked confidence IMO. But other than that a good fighter with a very good jab, who probably should have achieved alot more.
Damiani bled out like a running faucet after he caught that right on the tip...nasty stuff.Mercer was his own worst enemy, poor conditioning and such a late start as a professional.Solid as a rock but could be outboxed pretty simple,Ever see his fight with Kimmuel Odum?Much tighter than the scores read.
Had to look for this one,Call it 'luck' punch or just a matter of time with "get you OR u get him" Roger Mayweather.Coming into this, the hard hitting columbian Pinedas largest Stateside notoriety was his No-Mas on a stool a couple of years earlier with Mark Breland.Mayweather stunk it out...moving all night looking ahead to bigger paydays until that one brick found his jaw:fight:
Merchant and Lamplys jubilation and glee is a little erie while Mayweather is drapped on the top rope, sucking in his bottom lip.Mills lane had to break it down to him, worried for him.

Roger Mayweather was lucky he didn't get seriously injured there, because he got a bit of a whiplash off the ropes. Thats how Michael Watson got seriously damaged, Rafael Pineda was a pretty decent fighter with good punching power. He did take a beating off Pernell Whitaker, but he was unlucky not to win against Cory Spinks, Zab Judah, while being past his prime.
