If PBF moved up to 154 to fight Hoya, Hatton moved up to 147 to fight PBF, PAC moved up to 147 to fight Hoya then JMM at least should offer to move up to 144 (catchweight) to fight PBF... JMM called out PBF, he should do something to legitimize his challenge since Floyd won't go down to 135 or 140 for this tune-up fight with JMM...

When they tried to come at him with $750,000 Marquez wasn't going to biitch up and give in. He walked away. Yeah what happened afterwards was unfortunate. VD is right, there is no point in Marquez fighting at 147. It's just not feasible and Marquez would be better off walking away. It's a nice pay day, but Marquez can make decent paydays elsewhere, he is a top draw fighter these days.
I would rather Marquez test the waters at 140 against a decent name and then have a final fight against Pac. Then his career is pretty much done. No need to fight Mayweather.
Hopefully Hatton beats up Pac and then Pac has nowhere to go but to Marquez again.

Why not compromise then like DLH? If Mayweather really wants the fight then he can go to 140 and Marquez can move up to 140. Fairs is fair. After all Mayweather isn't a physical fighter and it has been argued that he is not a natural WW. Marquez was at 130 a year ago and now he's expected to forfeit all weight competitiveness to fight Mayweather?
Better to walk away and blame it on weight disagreements because that is exactly what it is!
