Paste what I said. It says that Cotto will be having trouble starting this camp because of the long lay off and the surgery. It's just fact. I didn't make him have the surgery. You keep mentioning it and you look like a whiny kid.;D
Nice one!
Hopefully hes knuckling down and smashing sparring partners up as we speak! Carrying on the momentum from his last fight, while Cotto is struggling to hit the pads because of his surgery
Here's your post, dumbass. If you weren't a young punk I'd swear your Alzheimers is kicking in.
I bet you were frantically looking for that, probably knocked your can of pop over as you did some angry typing.
If you look very closely, I typed a statement that "Cotto, is struggling to hit the pads because of his surgery" if you have surgery on your shoulder, you will struggle to
Punch. If you had a hip operation, you would struggle to kick box!
Take a deep breath and wipe away the tears ;D
Try not to strain your feeble brain as I explain something to you:
When you preceed your quote with the word "hopefully"... and you mention Cotto struggling with his shoulder surgery... that pretty much explains itself. Does it not? Can you at least man up and admit you said that? Or do you try to win all your arguments with "funny" phrases and insults?
Here's the facts as I see them:
1. You're a Cotto hater, although you admitted to having seen none of his fights.
2. You're not a true boxing fan, 'cause you want a boxer to go into the ring injured.
3. You're an idiot... 'cause you say stupid stuff and then deny having said them.

If you want to get technical about it... the second "sentence" is not really a full sentence, is it. Read it out loud, and it sounds just like it was meant:
Hopefully hes knuckling down and smashing sparring partners up as we speak, carrying on the momentum from his last fight, while Cotto is struggling to hit the pads because of his surgery.
But no matter... obviously we've beaten THIS one to death.
An even more telling fact is that you've admitted to watching close to none of Cotto's fights, and yet you harbor such an intense dislike.

Re: Cotto vs Mayorga - Top Rank Trailer
Stop whining!
I have seen some of his fights but only when he's been on shows where iv wanted to watch another fighter. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to watch him at 4am. The only reason I'll watch his next fight is to see what his opponent will do to him.;)
He has a dull style, like a turtle in his shell moving sideways. He doesn't have a dynamic style that goes out of his way to look for a knockout. When a fight goes his way the action gets slowed down. He doesn't have the style or strength to deal with stronger aggressive fighters. Steward will certainly be on tender hooks for this fight, not only does he already realise that Mayorga is big and strong enough to cause the upset but he has slated Mayorga in to the ground when he has commentated on his fights, only giving him begrudging praise.

if anyone you're describing Ricky Hatton :-X

Re: Cotto vs Mayorga - Top Rank Trailer
The thing that worries me is Mayorga's size advantage over Miguel, I think Mayos fight night weight against Mosely was 170 lbs. Miguel probably weighs between 156-160 lbs come fight night.

Re: Cotto vs Mayorga - Top Rank Trailer
Look, if you are annoyed with yourself for never having the balls to step up and compete, it's not too late. You have until your 34th birthday to compete at amateur. They are also now bringing out a masters for boxers up to 40 but that might be only if you have previous bouts. Failing that, there is White collar boxing which I think is open to anyone from 25 to 55. Give it a go, at least you will have some experience in a competitive match to call upon when thinking about how a fighter feels.
Can anyone translate what is being said here?

Re: Cotto vs Mayorga - Top Rank Trailer
Saw a picture of them back to back and Mayorga didn't look too in shape like he hadn't stayed in the gym. So right there I'm not sure how he does with Cotto, but he looking at the side by side pic I think Cotto might take this. I just dunno if Mayorga has it not keeping himself in the gym while being off for a year.

he's already gotten his ass whooped by another Puerto Rican who had a 2 year layoff ;), don't expect it to be any different in March against Cotto, i'm sure we'll hear the words "AND STILL WBA JUNIOR MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION...DE CAGUAS PUERTO RICOOOOOO"

Looking at that picture, one thing I noticed other than the size difference is Cottos left eye looks swollen, from scars! Like it wouldn't take long to become a mess from those over hand rights;)

all you do with that kind of bullshit is make it a win win situation, WHEN Cotto wins you'll look like an ass, and if by some freak fluke Mayorga does get the W (which he wont) you've already completely discredited whatever merit the win should deserve, after all according to you Cotto has a bum right shoulder and is going to cut all over the place. so either way it's a win win, by your OWN WORDS, the only way Mayorga wins is if he's at 100% and Cotto isn't, nice to see that you might not be AS stupid as once thought, but you're still a flaming queer
PS: as for Mayorga making loads of cash, apparently he's broke cause it looks like he had to buy his gloves from Toy R Us for the promo hahahaha

Go to your local boxing club, start training and get a fight scheduled and after you lose at least you will have some experience when you talk. Regarding that picture, those are old photo shopped shots unless Mayorga has already lost the fat on his face?
Now reply with some sissy cry girl bitch bullshit.....no wonder you never competed, I reckon they bullied you out the club. They hit you in the vagina.
Haha! It's really winding you up eh?
I win!
I won't rank Mayorga beating Cotto any where near him smashing up Lewis or Forrest. Cotto isn't that good. Ricardo is 37 and a hand picked opponent to try and make Cotto look good. Margarito beat him, so it's not a big deal to get a win over him really.
Look at this for a scary opponent, just like a wild animal. Cotto would be shitting his pants if Arum was forcing him to face this version...

of course you're gonna act like a tough shit online hahaha your last post proves that your fucking balls haven't even dropped yet, again fight night doesn't count as having boxing experience buddy ;), and you keep bringing up Lewis, Sixheads Lewis was barely better than Kelson Fucking Pinto for godsake, and Margarito did a better job in smashing him up, and unlike Mayorga he didn't need 2 tries to do it ;)
-
Re: Cotto vs Mayorga - Top Rank Trailer
Margarito got mayorgas left overs, same as Mayorga is getting Margaritos.
I'm only fucking around. It's only a fight and I'm not even a participant. The only thing iv got to worry about is if my knowledge of boxing isn't as good as I'd like to think but fuck me! If I haven't already said and made myself look foolish in the eyes of some, before a punch has even been thrown. I do think Mayorga is taking this serious and has too much for Cotto.

Re: Cotto vs Mayorga - Top Rank Trailer
For those not only in this thread but also in other threads that say Cotto is done...
A shitload of you said that he was done after the Margarito fight that he would go on to lose the next fight.
He went on to win 2 fights... Not the highest caliber of fighters but nonetheless wins.
He loses to Pac.
Then here come the comments again now he's really done.
He wont with again he's damaged goods.
He goes on to win, again not the highest caliber of fighter but a win.
Keep in mind both Jennings & Foreman were fights coming off of loses.
A fighter doesn't have to be beaten to a pulp or go through brutal wars to be done.
Theirs fighters who were never in wars and just lose it from 1 fight to another for various other reasons.
I think after both loses to Tony & Pac Cotto showed lot's of boxing ability and desire.
I think he will prove once again that he's a great champ and I don't mean by beating Ricardo. I think the Ricardo fight is more of spectacle then actual matchup.
Cotto IMO can still beat the likes of; Angulo, Cintron, K9 and Tony.
-
Re: Cotto vs Mayorga - Top Rank Trailer
That pic looks like they gave Cotto Reyes gloves and Mayorga got heavyweight Grant gloves without the logo. :p

I like Cotto and never said he was done. Before the Foreman fight I was saying that it was outrageous to suggest Foreman was going to beat Cotto, Cotto would crush him and he did.
But Mayorga hits A LOT harder than Foreman.
And it certainly will be a spectacle if Mayorga is able to knock Cotto out ! ;D

Mayorga would beat those 2;)
Neither of those 2 were capable of bullying Cotto and neither is a puncher. They were picked for Cotto so he doesnt crumble mentally again. Arum is trying to squeeze money out of him and I reckon if he didnt have Margarito and Pacquiao lined up for him that he would probably have retired by now, or still be enjoying the time off before making an unsuccessfull comeback.
Cottos heart isnt in this any more, at least not when he gets in a real fight again.

After searching a bit, I found Bernstein on twitter from over a week ago, saying he noticed a big size difference between the Two. That Mayorga looks fit and will have no problem making weight and also that he didnt touch a cigarette while he was in his company;D

I wont need any excuses. When the 38 year old Mayorga stops Cotto it will just prove how underrated he has been. What it means for Cotto I dont know? Overrated perhaps?
Al Bonnani, Don Kings right hand man has stuck this training camp out with Ricardo which tells me he is knuckling down, as Bonanni has walked out of Mayorgas camps in the past because he either wasnt turning up or not listening when he was there.

Cotto hasn't even been the best in any weight he's fought at. Even Mayorga has managed that:cool:

Miguel Cotto is a 3 division champion, former LINEAL WELTERWEIGHT WORLD CHAMPION, hello that's why Floyd is now the LINEAL WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION, Floyd beat Shane, Shane beat Margarito, Antonio "beat" Cotto ;), and sorry the YOUNGEST CHAMP EVER hails from Puerto Rico also, his name is Wilfred Benitez (champion at 17 not 21), Tyson was the youngest HW champion, even Vargas managed to do that feat in his own weight class (he's the younger Jr. Middleweight champion ever), so lets rack up the "names" Tyson has on his record and who he beat to unify the division, cause well Cotto might have losses but he never has been in a loss that will forever be billed "THE BIGGEST UPSET IN THE HISTORY OF THE SPORT", anywho, i think you should quit watching boxing you should just switch over to animal planet and watch Tyson play with his little birds :)
